We had a brilliant morning with our tour guide Made Winarti. She was always checking on us and making sure we took lots of breaks on our climb up. She was very knowledgable, spoke great English and told us a lot about the volcano and the lands surrounding it. She showed us the steam at the top and made sure we got a good view of the sunrise. Overall we had an amazing morning and couldn’t rate our tour guide highly enough! The collection from our hotel and drop off was timely and very smooth and we thought our driver was lovely!❤️

We did the waterfall tour with Abdi and it has been our favourite trip! We had karaoke in the car. Lots of Balinese information and the most amazing views! Abdi made it incredible! He has so much knowledge and was happy to answer any of our questions! Thankyou for the best day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our all day tour with Mongkok visiting 3 beautiful waterfalls in Ubud as well as a visit to the Tegalung rice terraces. Mongkok made our day so much more enjoyable by his knowledge of the sites visited and their history. He was very courteous and professional, and helpful with taking pictures as needed. Overall the tour more than met our expectations. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Bali.

A wonderful experience climbing Mt Batur in Bali - if you are looking for a bit of adventure, this might be your thing, An early morning climb starting at around 3am gest you to the summit (1710 metres very steep climb) in time for sunrise - which is beautiful, depending on the time of year, you may experience plenty of cloud cover as I did, but if you are patient, the cloud moves in and out quickly allowing you some spectacular views across to Mt Agung and Lake Batur. My guide Gede was amazing in taking very good care of me along the way. He was very attentive and caring. The guides also provide you a head torch. Be aware that a reasonable level of fitness is required for this climb - whilst is is not technical, it IS very steep, quite strenous and a good workout for your heart! Definitely not for the faint-hearted or those with dodgy knees or ankles. Make sure you have proper footwear and good water supply. Although it is hot and humid, it can be quite cold at the top so be sure to pack a warm jacket or jumper you can pop on when you get there. You will be at the top for around 1 hour. A very light breakfast is served at the top and tea/coffee is available for purchase as well. - but I would recommend taking a further snack or at least a banana to keep you well-fuelled. Definitely a memorable achievement!! I also visited the local Hot Springs afterwards which was a fabulous way to chill out and recover those tired legs and muscles afterwards. Well worth it!

The experience was really great! Quite challenging for those who have heart conditions or bad knees, so just take note:) But we had a really great guide Made Wirati who was super helpful and patiently guided us along the way. She’s super sweet and would go out of her way to ensure we were safe and had enough breaks before moving off ☺️☺️ we also had an another guide, kutu who was extremely patient as well! He supported one of our members through some of the really steep slopes. Nonetheless, overall lovely experience :”) we unfortunately didn’t get to see the sunrise because of cloudy weather, but the view from the top was still worth it 💪🏽
