Spent half a day in the Lanta Thai cookery school with our lovely teacher San. We had the opportunity to cook 4 different dishes that we selected as a group during our welcome drink. Then it was straight to ingredients and prepping before we cooked and ate eat dish in turn. We were given lots of tips and tricks to use as well as a booklet with all of the recipes in to take home. It was a really enjoyable experience. We were given the choice of cooking chicken, prawns or veggie so there’s choice for all dietary preferences. Make sure you go there hungry! They will box leftovers up for you, but be warned, there is a lot of (amazing!) food :)

Absolutely brilliant fun!!! I recommend booking because our class was a busy one. Chef Pak was so funny and had us laughing all day, the class was so engaging and it was easy to learn because it was so fun. My partner hates cooking but she absolutely loved this class. We explored the morning market learning about each ingredient and followed it up with eating tasty meals which if you wanted to you could pack and take any leftovers home. I genuinely learnt so much and can’t wait to host a dinner party with all the new skills from the recipe book they gave us. We’ve been in Thailand 3 weeks and it was one of my favourite experiences yet. They picked us up and dropped us back to the hotel which was a bonus too.

Very nice cookingclass, you cooked four different types of dishes. The chef was very pedagogical and friendly and you really learned how to do the food. You also got a cookbook, great! We can definitely recommend the class to anyone!

Speed boat ride about 45 mins was rather rough. Hang onto your 👒 Phi phi even in low season was SO BUSY. water when swimming was beautiful and clean but there were so many boats, I'd hate to see it in high season. Beach at phi phi was lovely, fine white sand, but again, hard to find a free spot in the shade!! Pot for sale, bars all over. Do yourself a favour and skip the included lunch. It's buffet style, average at best and again, so crowded!

Wonderful experience in Thai Lanta cooking class. Me and my wife chose the lunch class and cooked 4 recipes both on our own stove. The main cook was lovely and spoke good english. Definitely give it a go if you come by to Koh Lanta!

I had a lovely time learning to cook some thai dishes at Koh Lanta Cookery school. The methods and ingredients were explained well and they helped us along the way. The cookery book we will be using at home. They were very friendly and the setting is beautiful. I would happily recommend this class!

The staff were very kind and funny, the skipper even took me over to see a gorgeous pink jellyfish. So many iridescent fish, anemones and clownish! Great meal which included vegetarian options. Great communication beforehand and throughout.

I found it very touristy. Guide was good. Lunch was good. I hated PhiPhi. Ripoff everything at least twice the price of elsewhere. I had a beer then had to pay 30baht to use the washroom. Snorkeling was okay not great. Everywhere we went was crowded with other boats. Trip back and forth to Phi Phi had extra passengers so boat crowded. Went to monkey bay but there were no monkeys so we didn’t stop

Traumatic experience :Just two words to describe my experience from visiting Phi Phi Islands during my journey to Tailand at the firsts of August 2022 . My Group (travelling with Cosmorama Travel Agency from Athens Greece ) was attacked by a gang of monkeys just after our boarding off at the Phi Phi Island . They were trying to grab our bags . One of them grabbed my bag and when i tried to take it back it bit me ! I was injured , fortunately not very badly and to this helped me that i was wearing upper swimming cloth that was covering my arm . Vaccination treatment was provided to me six times after the incident in PHI PHI islands afterwards to Samui and afterwards to Greece. It was very difficult to find vaccines in Greece! Notice that our Agency leader gave us just a simple warning , while the half of the people of the group had already boarded off! "be careful the previous time i was here a monkey grabed my bag" (This scene is recorded by my camera ) The response of Cosmorama travel Agency was the minimum and offending : "You can take 150 euros as you deserve from the insurance you bought before tavelling" Not one call of excuse from the time of my accident till now i am writting these words! I am expecting your proper support! Cheers! Takis

Great crew but the whole experience was a bit underwhelming. T&Cs suggested it would be a max of 10 people but in fact we were closer to 30. The visibility in the water was very limited and on occasion, we found ourselves coming out of the sea with pretty bad itches.

The trip was all as advertised, and the guides were very nice and efficient, however unlike the rest of our activities Phi Phi island is too busy for us, especially Maya Bay, so if you are okay with crowds of tourists then this trip is fine, otherwise avoid it.

Really fun trip. The emerald cave was spectacular. Fun to visit several islands. Nice lunch. Good boat.

Safety of the passengers was compromised with no remorse or refund. Speedboat day tour took off even though there was a risk they couldn’t bring us back to Ko Lanta - we (passengers) were not advised of the risk until the harrowing, very choppy speedboat ride ended and we set foot on Phi phi islands. Once we got there the captain told us there were storms expected for 3 days and they likely couldn’t take us back to Ko Lanta where we were staying until the storms had passed. Island hopping and all aspects of the activities as part of the tour were also cancelled. To reiterate, This was supposed to be a day tour, so if there was even a risk that the tour would be affected, the company shouldn’t have started the trip. We found out later that all other travel agents (through other hotels on the island) had already cancelled due to the high risk. What commenced after that was unprofessional, rude behavior by this company on the phone to refuse refund and coverage for an alternative ferry ride to take us back to Krabi, and 2 hour drive back to Ko Lanta. Our resort (Pimlai) in Ko Lanta also tried to speak with the company on our behalf to ensure we got back safely and compensated, but Pimlai met with the same rude behavior (literally SCREAMING at us on the phone hysterically). I strongly urge all to avoid this company as it is a matter of safety and ethics. For the record we still have not been refunded. I understand that weather can be somewhat unpredictable but there should be consideration of the risk and clear communication of the risks involved to the passengers.

Very good trip and friendly staff! Got to see everything you can imagine. A must when you are in phuket/krabi area! Would do this Again
