Itinerary
- 1. At the beginning of your trip, you will be given a brochure about Mostar. After a two-hour drive to Mostar, you will have 3 hours free time to explore this beautiful Bosnian town. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge (Stari Most) after which it is named. Between 1992 and 1995 the town was badly damaged during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and much of the urban centre was left in ruins and the Old Bridge destroyed. Since 1998 there have been major restoration projects carried out in the centre of the Old Town, most notably the rebuilding of the Old Bridge. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Carol N0 contributionsPrice does not include entry into Park.Watch out!! the cost does not include the entry into the park. It's an additional 8 EURO per person. The price advertised is only for transport to Biokovo.Written August 30, 2024
- edryd230 contributionsSky walk tour.Picked up on time. Clean bus and felt safe driving up the mountain. 30 min on skywalk then straight down. Well priced trip.Written August 15, 2024

- 502strawberrys0 contributionsSuper!!I really enjoyed the Skywalk and Sv. Jure tour from Makarska. The bus driver was very skilled in navigating the route up the mountain. It was a tad scary to ride up, but the van driver was COMPLETELY calm and friendly! He was entirely skilled in driving this route. He even guided us on the nature walk (he isn’t a tour guide yet showed us the route). We had ample time at all the stops. I can’t say enough about how SUPER this tour was for myself and mom. I am so happy I went! Biokovo is the mountain seen behind Makarska Riviera. I would NOT advise taking your personal vehicle. It is much better to simply pay the reasonable amount for the tour plus admission ticket. This experience was 10+++ I might recommend going directly to the Exploro Tour counter (located in a little gift shop right on the riva promenade somewhat nearby Restaurant Mucrum). I was so pleased with the Biokovo tour, that I signed up for Plitvice Lakes the following week. Again, he was a very friendly driver and it was quite a distance. We still had more than ample time to explore Plitvice Lakes. He drove us three hours each way - and didn’t seem annoyed with my willingness to practice a bit of the Croatian language. This experience is another 10+++ Ensure you have cash (not online entrance) for the admission tickets. When being picked up, ensure you’re not late or you’ll hold up guests from another location (and late goers should be left behind). The bus driver was at the agreed location within ten min timeframe. Hvala puno!!!Written July 29, 2023
- DonegalTraveller90 contributionsDay trip from Makaska to dubrovnikJourney times are more honest. Driver is not too lazy to drop you off where they picked you up and not abandon you 209 meters away to walk back on foot. ByWritten July 21, 2023
- 197campbellw0 contributionsImotski and the Blue LakeWe spent a lovely half day with Daniel visiting Imotski from Makarska. We first visited a very, traditional country market in Zadvarje, before moving onto the beautiful landscape of Vidikovac Prološko blato. From there we visited the Green, Red and Blue Lakes. Daniel left us at the Blue Lake to visit here and Imotski at our leisure. Daniel was a perfect guide, friendly, knowledgeable and fiercely proud of the wonderful country and area he calls home. Thank you so much. Can't recommend this experience highly enoughWritten July 4, 2023
- vladim_rn7380 contributionsCatastophe, never againtoday we arrived with 2 small children, the attendant said that we had to pay the entrance fees as soon as possible, by the time we paid they had already given us the tickets an hour late, and even when we called the helpline, the lady was not willing to refund the money for the service that we did not use, that is, we paid 16 EUR and we were not even given another appointment on another day, because today we had to go back to the hotel to sleep we were tricked by the staff and tricked by the lady on the helpline that she would refund our money disaster, never againWritten June 24, 2023
- criticaljohn0 contributionsBreathtakingThe skywalk is amazing and the views are magnificent but no toilets so make sure you go before you set of !! Chose a tour that includes going on to the summit ( some don't) its so much better and only pay up to 300 kunas each well worth doing!!Written November 2, 2022
- B5405EKanns0 contributionsVery bad experienceMade a booking last night via Voucher had no pick up time. Contacted Exploro and a lady told me (quite rudely) it was impossible I had a booking since the trip was fully booked and anyway they never worked with TripAdvisor. My voucher was not her problem. Wasted a lot of time trying to find out what was wrong and we decided to wait at the general time announced on the website (8:30l. Called Exploro again at 9:00 hoping to speak to someone else. In vain, this time she said TripAdvisor probably used their name to make publicity (??) but they had nothing to do with them. Just got an e mail from TripAdvisor saying Exploro asked them to refund me. Why such blatant lies costing us so much time and hassle ??Written September 14, 2022
- AleckoOm0 contributionsDoneSuch a great and "in"-infrastr. - it can not deserve 3*!!! But some critics are there: 25EUR for a ride, with servo? clima, hopping the lines also? What are the mentioned guraranties, as we know so wel defined cancelletion termns? Bianco guaranties aren't good to left free if the unsatisfied taker is a quantifier :) Just Engl. is far too less, since the guests are speaking 2-3languages. And what to do 3h if someone refuses to be carried like a cow through every next, but from the beginning vrucial, happening. With such infranstr. you could do 4x more, 2x money, 2x service qty. good luckWritten August 19, 2022
- Sunshine7695080 contributionsExcursion to SplitVery clean and comfortable mini bus trip right to the centre of Split from our hotel in Tucepi. Definitely worth the money rather than trying to use public transport. The only reason I have not given top score is because we would have liked a little longer in the city (the bus picked us up to return at 2.30).Written July 15, 2022
- 691sebastiann0 contributionsThe view is nice and the construction work done is wow.The 3 hours means 2,5 hours on the minibus and 15 minutes on site - which ks actully quite ok, as there is not much to see actually - 15 minutes is enough. Air conditioining, well I’m sure the Sprinter had it when it was new 30 years ago :)Written June 27, 2022
- KaroliinaM480 contributionsA great way to spend a dayBus was 20 minutes late in the morning but otherwise a great experience. We liked that the whole time both in Sibenik and Krka was free time to enjoy the views. The duration of the stays 1,5 h and 3 h were good.Written May 9, 2022
- KristianHartlev0 contributionsTerribleGreat booking process with happy to visit but do not use Exploro Tours! Worst company. The driver forgot to pick us up so we waited for an hour just to be informed that we could not go because he was already on the road to Krka. We were in contact with Exploro Tours during the wait but the driver must have been in so much of a hurry that he just “forgot” us. He didn’t even call us or anything. Terrible experience. We asked Exploro Tours if they could get a driver or taxi so we could go but they didn’t helped us out. Now we are leaving Croatia without experiencing Krka. Unbelievable.Written July 20, 2021
- Aileensusanwaite0 contributionsDay trip to Trogir and Krka WaterfallsLoved this. Unfortunately it rained in the morning on the way to Trogir but our driver kindly lent me an umbrella and the Waterfalls were superb. 75 kunas to get in the falls as we were slightly out of season. Driver was great despite long traffic queues on the way back due to cyclists. Police seemed to close the road off very early hence the trip back to Tucepi took over 3 hours. Frustrating for everyone. Good value for the transfer money though.Written October 3, 2019

This was an incredibly long bus ride. It took four hours to go to Mostar. The bus driver gave us an information sheet in either English or German. In Mostar we got three hours. The journey home took three and a half hours. If you are prepared to spend seven and a half hours on a bus, this is something to bet on. Mostar was a nice city and we also got to see the famous bridge. Crowded and crowded. Passport control at the border took at least half an hour.

Great day out. Be prepared for a lot of travelling. 3 hrs there and back. But definitely a trip worth doing. Comfy air con coach and friendly helpful driver. Amazing views in Mostar. Cobbled alleys. Lots of places to each and drink. Very hot.

I used the company for transfers only and wished later that I booked a guided tour. The bus was around 40 mins late picking me up and I kept thinking I’d missed it. Luckily there was a phone number on my ticket and I did get communications that the ride was delayed.
The driver did not speak English and neither did many of the other passengers, I misheard the departure time at the first stop which was cut short due to running late and hence I kept everyone waiting which made me rather unpopular and uncomfortable.
We ended up getting just 3 hours in Mostar which simply isn’t enough.
Information is very limited, not even a map, just a sheet in your language with a bit of history information.
Mostar is fabulous and I hope to return.
The drive is very mountainous and left me a little nauseous so on the return I asked to sit upfront which was agreed. Watching the driver on his mobile phone continuously around the mountains was also a bit unnerving.
Still, if you prefer to DIY your own tours an keep to a budget it’s a good option to get you there and back.
