If you want breathtaking views of the Spectacular Croatian countryside coupled with an exciting offroad adventure you will not be disappointed. Mato your guide and owner has a passion for his country and surroundings that shines through, he brings the history and geography to life- he and his family have lived and worked here for many generations. There is a range of driving experiences- little on tarmac but mostly on little used tracks cutting their way across the valley- river crossings and the challenging uphill rocky paths. The lunch is excellent. Tips - Bring your water bottle and drink from the stream, wear trainers or good walking shoes. This trip was the best thing we did in Croatia- so good in fact we did it twice.

The best trip we took by far whilst staying in dubrovnik. We have done kayaking, jet ski-ING, boat trips island trips the old city etc. But this beats them all. Great value for the family. 9am to 2pm lunch is included in the price at a great little restaurant in the villages at the feet of the mountains. The driving was great fun and Matt our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and quite rightly proud of his local area behind cavtat. The visit to the source of the spring water was stunning a really beautiful place... And not something that's readily promoted in the tourism around dubrovnik which is a shame. This is a great fun day out for the family!

This was a last minute decision so wasn’t quite sure what to expect, we wasn’t disappointed. We were in Dubrovnik for my sons 18th and needed to find something fun for our last day. We all got to drive and went places we never would of found ourselves, or if you were on a coach . There was just 5 of us so was very private. We saw some fantastic scenery, went over rough retrain , water , rocks and open land, lunch was at our guides family restaurant and was delicious and the bread was the best along with a setting just beautiful. We did some walking up a waterfall and sampled the cool spring water . We all really enjoyed our ‘adventure’ laughed a lot and have great memory’s. Thanks Mato

We had a great time doing the Safari tour! The guide was a lot of fun & gave us a lot of interesting information when we were stopped. Croatia had been having a lot of rain so it make the drive even better :) The village we ate lunch in was great to walk around in & the food we delicious. This was a great way to get out of the crowds in Dubrovnik for half a day & take in some beautiful scenery. They were also able to set up a transfer for us since we didn't have a car.

We were given our own 4x4 suzuki jeep and followed the leader/owner, Mato, in his own vehicle. We drove through rough terrain along the valley floor surrounded by beautiful scenery. As part of the experience we drove to a lovely village along the River Ljuta. There we stopped and had an authentic Croatian lunch (included in the price). Mato gave lots of local infomation about the places we visited and was great to chat to. This was an amazing day we shared with 2 of our friends who also had their own vehicle. Thank you Mato for a brilliant experience!!

This was a great 1/2 day out to experience local culture, landscapes and way of life away from the more tourist areas. Mato is an interesting and entertaining guide and picked us up from our apartment. The tracks are interesting with a river crossing but are fine for beginners. There are spectacular views and great local food included within the trip. Would 100% recommend.

We have been coming to this area for many years now and we were looking for something a little bit different last year we found this safari and you believe me we weren’t disappointed what a fantastic experience,we are returning to milni again next month and I will be definitely going to give it another blast Keep up the good work Mato and see you in September Andy M

My wife and kids and I enjoyed a fun morning with Mato exploring some of the quieter parts of Cavtat. He was a friendly and knowledgable host and guide with a long history living in the area. This was something very different to do and whilst a little more expensive than some other activities in the area, worth doing and one of the highlights of our trip to Dubrovnik. Recommended.

We booked via email and Mato picked us up from the bus station in Cavtat. We then jumped in a Suzuki jeep and headed off into the countryside. The tracks were rough but not too challenging only a couple of bits needed 1st gear. Mato guided us across the river to avoid the deep bit. Mato shared his intimate and interesting knowledge of the area and its history while taking us up to the spring that provides the water for the area. Filling our bottles from the spring and eating fresh fruit from the trees was a treat followed by an excellent lunch. Several scenic stops along the way - all in all a great day.

Booked by e mail a few days before Mato picked us up from Cavtat, great knowledge and passion for his country and culture, excellent lunch in a stunning spot, met some lovely people on the same trip who all loved it as much as we did. We booked the safari by email the day before and Mato replied very promptly offering to pick us up from our apartment the next morning. First time I’ve been on an off road safari and it was great to be able to drive the jeeps. Mato was very knowledgeable and had many personal accounts with regards to his family living in the area for generations which he shared with us. We all stopped off for a lovely lunch of local ham, cheese and cooked meat with local red or white wine, with all 8 of us enjoying the great food and conversation. The off road terrain and river crossing really put the vehicles through their paces, and only 1 Jeep got stuck!! A thoroughly enjoyable 5 hours exploring areas that wouldn’t be accessible any other way. Highly recommend this adventure!!

Mato is prompt, organised and well informed. The driving was a good mix of road/country track and rutted off road with a little water. Fun and adequate, we are all inexperienced off roaders. Lunch was excellent for both the meat and vegetarian options, in a lovely peaceful, cool setting. Bug spray is handy as you are out in the countryside/by water. Sunscreen on sunny days too. Would not advise for anyone with back problems as it’s very bumpy!

We took our two girls aged 9 & 11 on this jeep safari and all had a great time. Booked by text at the beginning of our holiday after reading the excellent reviews. Mato was an excellent guide. This is the first jeep safari we have been on where we actually drove the jeeps. My husband did the majority of the driving but it was fun for me to have a taste of the off road driving experience too. Lunch was superb and overall we were very pleased that we booked this trip. We took the off road trip and were very satisfied with that. The off road driving was fun, although not the most challenging one due to dry weather, but interesting to see the hinterland of Cavtat and got a historic explanation of the valleys past. Very good lunch in a scenic place. If you want to get a bit away from mainstream tourist attraction , I recommend this one.

Booked this jeep safari last minute v text and Mato responded straight away. He picked us up from our hotel in Cavtat where we proceeded to our jeeps and out into countryside. Mato was a fantastic guide ensuring our safety and enjoyment through out. He is obviously very passionate about his family routes and we found him fascinating. Lunch was amazing and our daughter had the vegetarian platter and us the meat platter with local wine, all set by the river/mills. The jeeps were fun and definately off road, views amazing. Fantastic day with our thanks to Mato.
