Great views...ok tour
Dec 2019 • Couples
Out of all the Atacama desert tours, this one seemed a little rushed and lacking in any narration. The sights themselves were beautiful but it would have been better with some engagement from the tour guide. Not sure if the other tours are any better.

Poor tour to awesome location
Oct 2019
Pick-up and drop off for tour was supposed to be from Hotel. Guide met us at hotel and walked us to pick-up spot 2 blocks away. After waiting for 15 minutes, tour bus did not arrive and we ended up walking close to 1 Km to depot to meet tour bus. Guide was friendly, but did not seem particularly knowledgeable about geology of the location. Quality of tour was much lower than subsequent tours provided by other tour operators.

Friendly guide but really didn't seem to know much about the geology of the area. Problem with pick up - was supposed to be at hotel and we had to walk a long way instead. Had to wait when one couple in the bus was allowed to get out to take photos while everyone else on the bus watched and waited.

Totally worth it
For the price it didn't expect much but in the end, it was great. We visited 4 different places and besides the 3 Maria's, which was a Foto-stop only, had time to explore a bit of the area. Ending with a great sunset, the satisfaction was complete. In addition to that, the charismatic guides are doing a great job in a couple of different languages. All in all more than worth it

It was the first time I got to feel the desert sun and to see the sand dunes. Moon Valley is absolutely impressive and we liked the ride and walk across it very much. The view from above and the sunset over the Valley is definitely something worth seeing!

Gray Lines organised for us to be on a large coach with maybe 20 other people, operated by another company. The places we visited were pretty mind-boggling, but the number of people - and the guide not being strict on when the bus would leave each place - meant we spent a lot of time waiting for other guests, which was pretty frustrating. Thee guide spoke English but was only ok - not particularly entertaining or deep in his knowledge

Not enough stops for lavatory break is the only bad aspect of this otherwise spectacular tour. High altitude means breathtaking is spectacular but spectacularly breathtaking scenery to be seen. Truly breathtaking

Great tour!!
May 2019 • Friends
All the tours from San Pedro seem to be run really well. We were picked up from our hostel in a nice air conditioned minibus which then went on to collect others. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and spoke a variety of languages fluently, and our driver drove safely. And of course the Lunar (and Mars) Valley was stunning! I would recommend to everyone.
