What to expect
Depart from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama (select hotels only) and relax during the scenic drive to Cejar Lagoon. Marvel at the dramatic landscape of the Atacama Salt Flats as you approach the lagoon then don your bathing suit for a distinctive dip. Float on the surface of the salt-saturated water, enjoying an experience reminiscent of the Dead Sea. Revitalize in the refreshing waters while enjoying the reputed therapeutic benefits of the salt. Rinse off the salt from your body then return to the minivan for the next installment of your adventure. Arrive at the ethereal Ojos del Salar (Eyes of the Salt Flat) and capture unforgettable photographs are the magnificent mirrored lagoons during your relaxed free time. Travel to the tour’s final stop, the Tebenquiche Lagoon, and enjoy refreshing drinks and fulfilling snacks. Home to diverse wildlife such as flamingos and native birds, the lagoon is hailed as one of Chile’s most spectacular sunset spots. Sip pisco sours as you recline on the sandy shores of the water, absorbing the magical ambience of the sunset; watch as the sun casts a fiery glow over the desert before returning to your minivan and relaxing during the journey to San Pedro de Atacama.

Great afternoon!
Jan 2020 • Couples
We really enjoyed this tour!! Our guide, Juvenal, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the Atacama desert. The salt flats were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the Ojos and floating in the salt Laguna Piedra.
