Maria was our tour guide and she did an amazing job of providing us with history of São Paulo and Santos from the moment she picked us up in São Paulo to Santos and back. She was friendly, fun and energetic! She gave us great recommendations on food and drinks. My husband and I took amazing photos along our stops. We felt safe and comfortable the entire day. Our guide knew so much about Pele, the City of Santos, and Santos Futebol Club that even our kids, ages 11, 9 and 7 kept interest in the tour all day. We visited several landmarks in the city, ate great food, saw the Pele Museum, Santos Stadium, the waterfront, Beautiful beachfront gardens, Peles tomb and topped off the day with some delicious Brazilian Prato Feitos. Everywhere we went, people told us some more about Pele and we even met Pele’s personal barber. Our guide took some great family shots of us wherever we went.Written August 6, 2024
