This was surely the WORST tourism experience I have ever had. - They had us over 12 hours on the bus, and we only spent 1.5 hours on the beach, - The tour promises 4 beaches, they took us to only one! - Because we only got to the beach at 4pm, we had only one hour of sun! - The beach itself was completely overcrowded (better off in Copacabana), - They did not serve us "lunch" until 6:30 pm! - The guide spoke no English, and had zero idea what she was doing (clearly planning things as the day progressed), - The guide was rude and insulted people on the tour, - When I asked for a refund, the company refused and answered jokingly, THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. AVOID!

I booked a daytrip to arrial do cobo for me and my girlfriend via "tripadvisor.nl” of thecompany “Rio Pepe Tours” for the 25.12.2024 starting at 7am. As descripted, we expected the "hotelpickup" at 7am on the 25.12.2024 that day. After waiting for 1,5h we still didnt get picked up and we couldn’t reach anyone at the costumer service. Later we got a respond from a automtic generated message saying, that the company doesn’t operate today due to the holiday and that it’s closed. Our whole day was ruined. Now we are currently fighting to get our money back from Paypal. Till today we didn’t get a respond of the company… Maybe there are a lot of people with good experience, and maybe it’s a good tour. The whole lack of organisation makes it hard to have trust in a company like that. We wasted our time and money. And it’s a lack of respect, that we still haven’t gotten a response. We just feel scammed. Be aware !

Very poor tour no one turned up to pick me up I phone them three times and sent message to them and no one even since has even responded

Guides Peter and Driver Andrew are fantastic and shown what should be like a good hospitable guide. For most part of tour, I was only english speaker in group still he explained everything with same passion and time given at every spot r bang on

The views were unlike anything I had seen before, the city is so beautiful! Peter was perfect, he had all the facts about all the landmarks, he kept us entertained in the journeys from all the landmarks, he spoke many languages to accommodate all people on the group, great sense of humour, just amazing!

EIGHT HOUR BUS RIDE picking up people throughout Rio should have been listed. This was an unbeleivable DIRTY TRICK. We got off the bus once we realized this was happening and did not even get to the boat. After an hour of bus ride we were still a five minute walk from the hotel we were picked up at. This excursion description and itinerary are inaccurate and need to be updated

Peter our guide did an excellent job, he went into detail with every stop and in between visits. My husband and I learned so many facts about Sugar Loaf, Cristo, the stadium…etc. He was extremely careful to ensure the group stayed together and on schedule. Most importantly we felt safe on this tour and we appreciate his professionalism. Lastly, I would like to recognize our bus driver Maurcio who at all times did a fantastic job getting us through all the traffic with G20 in a safely manner. I will most definitely recommend them both and this lovely tour company to my friends and family. Thank you!

I booked the Maracana Behind the Scenes tour with Pepe Rio Tours and was stood up!!!! I Wasted a whole afternoon of my short vacation time because of these jerks. No e-mail response, don’t answer the telephone! I contacted Tripadvisor and they couldn’t reach them either. What a disappointment!!! Avoid this “scam”!!!!

I had a tour with Peter and Miguel. These guys were amazing. Peter is friendly, personable, and pretty funny in my opinion. The tour was thorough, and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend these guys, Any chance you get. I’m ex military, and I’m from Texas, so obviously I’m not impressed easily. But these guys really were good.

Our tour guide was amazing “CLARA” she spoke 3 languages so everyone could understand she literally connected with everyone we are from America and she was a big part of the reason our trip was amazing we also loved how we had time to see and do everything and had a nice restaurant to eat at the people on our trip and us ourselves had a really fun time we love how our tour guide had such a amazing fun personality and aura 👍🏽

We had a great time! A couple days there would be nice, but our guide Juliana was amazing, and even took videos of us (free of charge). Its the most you can do in a day. Highly recommended!
