Transfer did a great job. We went as a group of friends and did the VIP Transfer and could not have asked for a better experience. I spent ages trying to find a transfer between Rio and Ilha Grande, as so many had mixed reviews. Top Transfer provided a very efficient service. We received communication the evening before pick up to confirm what time the driver would arrive. In the morning, they confirmed the driver was in his way and he arrived on time. We were driven to a Dock that was super quiet, it was only our minibus and one other there to get the boat, so it was all quick and efficient. The way back was also on time and we'll organised. My only tip is to check the price quoted. I had seen another tour company selling the transfer, with the price advertised on their website. I saw it was operated by Top Transfer, so I decided to contact them directly. They originally quoted a higher price than I had seen elsewhere. Once I queried it, the price was reduced. So do your research!

This organisation is a disaster for the second time! First of all we ordered a bus for later in the day and because the company changed the time to 7am with very short notice, we had to skip our morning tour + we had no opportunity for anything to drink or eat at our hotel before the 7h ride to Rio, which it showed us originally would take half the time to get there in the first place. Then we had to change cars so quickly twice and the driver took out our luggage, forgetting my little backpack before loading it with the new passengers luggage. They then let me know later that this bag has stayed behind and it will come to Rio with the next shuttle. Suddenly then, they message us it's only for 50 real and we said even okay to that, even though we were not so happy. Now the backpack arrived in the hotel early one morning and my only more valuable thing is not in there anymore (my speakers) Also last year we used Top Transfer, because there is not really another way to get to ilha grande by public transport.. they dropped us off where we were supposed to get a boat to pick us up which never happened and we waited hours until it got dark. In the end we paid some guys to bring us over instead. It is the last time I use Top Transfer and I will let other people know about this miserable service.

so far so good. I will go there in APR so I hope that the transport service (private) will be as good as my booking experience. I did it via whats app and Vanessa S from Top transfer was really helpful and patient. All went really well and no issues.

Used Top Transfer to get from Ilha Grande to GIG airport and was a brilliant service. Renata was amazing at helping us decide which was the best time to leave and advised us best time to leave to get to the airport. Took the time to translate into English for us, and double checked we understood everything throughout. She has great customer service skills and is a credit to the company. Ended up going back to book other day trips on the island with Top Transfer because of this, and I would highly recommend to anyone for the high convenience and ease.

They messed up my booking, added me to transfer that would miss the ferry. There was no chance to make the connection. I ended up traveling the whole day (taking evening ferry). They did not apologize or offer any compensation instead kept blaming me until I eventually proved that it's their mistake. I highly recommend arranging the regular bus and ferry yourself - in such way you're in control of the connection, it's much cheaper and more comfortable (my van did not even have an aircon working).

Best service ever! My booking from an external provider wasn't received in the system at Ilha Grande but Jan was on hand to book me on the next available boat back to Rio de Janeiro so I could get to the airport on time. She went above what was required and I am very thankful for her work! Recommend!!

Renata at Ilha Grande office was extremely helpful. We made a mistake with the booking and she helped us to correct the booking and go back to Rio in time. Can’t say how much grateful I am for her help.

We booked one way transfer from Ihla Grande to Barra de Tijuca shared transfer. They have their own boat ( way better that the one we took it when we went to Ihla and better coordination and polite/helpful staff. A sedan waited for us and all 4 passengers who were heading to Barra . The minivan was going to Copacabana and another sedan somewhere else . Total 3 stops for our group, very fast and efficient. Would do it again.

Maryane Alves, She arranged a complete roundtrip from Ipanema to Angra, Abraão and back To Ipanema with comfortable transport in a comfortable group shuttle. Her communication was excellent and got us to Ilha 🏝️ Grande with ease and comfort. I will definitely travel with Top Transfer in the future as the whole process was seamless and easy.
