I did this hike with my girlfriend and it was just amazing. Diogo is the best hiking guide we ever had, explaining a bunch of interesting things about the local forest, culture and nature. From the beginning of the hike he was like a friend to us. The hike was very entertaining and the views were incredible. We got to see both views: Rio covered by fog as well as sunny. We recommend this hike to anyone visiting Rio, it is definitely worth it. Remember to invite Diogo for some beers afterwards and the fun is assured! You will learn all the tips you need to move around and what to see ;)

this is an amazing trek and a must to try if you want to view the city of Rio from a bird's eye. the climb is steep but worth it. i had gone to this trek with Diogo da Luz from Nattrip, he is an amazing guide. Not only he helped us with the trekking part, but also explained about the flora and fauna around the region. Unfortunately we had an accident during the trip, due to which we could not complete to the peak ☹️☹️☹️. But definitely if i were to come back to Rio any other day will try again for this trek with Diogo. One of the best treks around Rio. 👍🏼

Gaurav, so glad that you just got the best information about the local nature with fauna and flora explanations, and also the historical context of Pedra da Gávea area. All the security equipments with proper certifications, and technical safety procedures were implemented as usual, unfortunately one of our clients got an issue with his left shoulder, he had a previously lesion that didn't informed our team, and during the hike up he got his left upper limb injured on the first occasion of requesting physical effort, the first medical care was performed, and after that, our group went down to finish the trail without the summit of Gávea. Our friend Hamid is 100%, after the experience of Pedra da Gávea, i went with him to the hospital, and everything was right, due to the excellent first medical care that was delivered to him. Gaurav, our team is waiting you for our next Pedra da Gávea hike up, it will be a pleasure to offer you free of charge this experience that particularly provides the best view of the wonderful city, Rio de Janeiro.

I had an incredible time climbing this mountain , alongside my tour guide Diogo. He was unbelievably kind, generous and knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and an expert climber. I saw some incredible views of Rio, made new friends & had an unforgettable day.
