It was really a good idea to take a local guide to accompany us to the hill Dois Irmãos passing through the favela Vidigal. Good price! Carlos was very kind ,he told us interesting things about the location, the favela and life of people in Rio ..and special thanks for helping us to make a million of pictures (we are girls so you can understand that Carlos was very patient :))),we appreciated it!! In general we felt totally safe and comfortable with Carlos! Highly recommended!!

I went with Carlos to Pedra do Sal and experienced an amazing authentic samba party, do not miss this place! Carlos is super friendly and knowledgeable about Rio, I definitely recommend him. I was going to go with him to Dois irmãos also but in the end I didn’t have time, I’ve heard that it’s good to go there with a guide because it can be a bit unsafe.

This was the best tour we did in Brazil. The views were stunning, the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and Great to see something different that normal tourist will never experience. This was a tour we will not forget. Try it!

My 3 friends and I from Russia made a tour with Carlos in March, 2019. I only have a positive feadback about it. Carlos arrived to our hotel on time and picked us up. He drove and then parked his car not far from the favela Vidigal and after that we walked for about 15 minutes to the favela on foot. If we needed some time to take pictures on our way Carlos was always up. When we reached the favela, the locals on bikes have already waited for us to take us to the point up on the hill through the favela. Every girl has her own "driver". It's extreme but quite safe. The road up took about 7 minutes and to be honest I did enjoy it. The bikers left us and we went up to the main  view point of Dois Irmãos on foot. The trip took about 01.30 hour and it was quite tough but it's worth it. Carlos assisted us everywhere and took a good care of us. When we reached the main point we could enjoy the view and took pictures as long as we wanted. The trip back was easier and Carlos did all his job for 100%. I have to say that during all the trip we felt safe and totally enjoyed it. I definitely recommend the tour with Carlos to everyone!
