Wow I couldn’t be happier with OIR aventura! Thiago is the man! The booking was super easy and he worked with me on what I wanted to do, even adjusted on the fly while on tour. Very friendly and respectful. You know someone does a good job when you feel you didn’t pay them enough. I wish I had more money to give I am so happy. I will 1000% be booking with him again

Thiago was an incredible tour guide and i would highly recommend him. My buddy and i did 2 full 8 hour tours with him. We saw some of the most amazing sights in the world. Thiago is very knowledgable about the city but also very accomadating to what you want to see and do on the trip. 5 stars!!!

We booked a bike tour with Tiago on our first morning in Rio, and it was an excellent experience. Tiago is personable and passionate about his work. As a true outdoorsman, he showed us many incredible highlights of the city while ensuring our safety. We enjoyed exploring all that Rio has to offer on a bike tour so much that we booked a sunrise kayak tour with him later during our trip, which was equally wonderful. I highly recommend this group, and when we return to Rio, they will be the first ones we call.

Thiago is an excellent guide. My girlfriend and I did two activities with him. One 7-hour bike tour of Rio de Janeiro and hiking&climbing on Sugarloaf Mountain. They were the best things we did in Rio! The hike&climb especially was an unforgettable experience. We were both climbing rookies but with his guidance (and his kit) we pulled it off. Thiago was born to do this job and has a true passion for the outdoors which he transmits to his group/clients too. He also speaks fluent English - a rarity in Rio. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to try authentic outdoor experiences in Rio. Till the next time!

Definitely one of the best experiences I had abroad!! Thiago was super friendly and chill. We booked him for a 7 hour bike ride across Rio which was amazing cause we saw so many beautiful things - definitely my favourite way to see the city! We had such a great time we went for a second activity the next day which was even better - rock climbing and hiking up the sugarloaf mountain!! He is an expert and so fun to be around. Definitely recommend!!!! Will never forget this!! 👌🏼👌🏼

Great hike/climb with Thiago to the top of Sugar Loaf! Thiago is very knowledgeable and is super guide, super friendly, social and know everything about Rio! We had a great time during the clinb showing us pretty views and lots of stories about the surroundings. An absolute must when in Rio to contact this guy, because he can arrange everything, highly recommended!

I did two tours with Thiago - one hike up through the rainforest to Christ the Redeemer, the second tour through the Dois Irmãos with a motorcycle ride and hike down through the Favela Vidigal. Both were amazing - challenging hikes with fabulous company! Thiago is super knowledgeable about his city, Rio - the beaches, neighborhoods, and history. I learned so much, the time spent with Thiago was super fun, and I felt like I really got an inside view into some very special areas of Rio. I would highly recommend booking any kind of adventure tour with Thiago, and if I am ever lucky enough to make it back to Rio again, I will certainly book another tour with these guys! Fabulous time!!

The hike was amazing! With good help from our guide Santiago we reached the top. Hiking uphill, climbing and abseiling down hill. Great experience with a great view on top! The guide was a cool and helpfull guy. Definitely recommend. During the tour he gave us a lot of insights about other nice places in Rio. Thanks Santiago!!

My husband and I booked this tour while we were on vacation in Rio. Thiago, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable! We have never booked a guide before but we are so glad we did on this one. It’s a tricky hike and it includes some steep rock climbing and repelling. Thiago brings all the equipment necessary and we NEVER felt unsafe or uncomfortable. He will tell you everything you need to know along the way. He will also take the most amazing pictures of your group along the way and at the top!! We loved him so much! I highly recommend him!! We can’t stop telling our family and friends about our amazing experience with Thiago.

Thiago was Amazing!!!!! He is incredibly knowledgeable about literally everything - trees, birds, animals, neighborhoods, history, culture, and everything you can think of. We booked last minute (the night before) and he managed to accommodate us and get us up and down Tijuca peak in under 4 hours in the afternoon. We’re so glad we found him because it was honestly one of the best tours we’ve taken not just in Rio but everywhere. He’s passionate about nature, friendly, and goes above and beyond for his private tour guests (even recommended a bikini shop and an açaí place for us). He told us his company OIR is Rio spelled backwards, because he hopes to show his guests another side of Rio. There’s so much heart in how he conducts his business. We hope everyone gets a chance to be guided by Thiago because you will learn so much (more than any typical guides will tell you) and have so much fun! Oh and - he takes amazing photos!

Thiago was an incredible guide. He was very personable and had a lot of knowledge about Rio and the hike to share. Hike is a light word for this journey (it involves) some climbing and rappelling and Thiago made the group feel extremely safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. He was also a great coach through it all as well. Can't thank Thiago enough for making our trip so great and I can promise you will be glad that you booked any of Thiago's expeditions. I have done many hikes and Gavea is easily top 3 out of any I have ever done.

Thank you Thiago for the experience, despite the weather was not the best. We really enjoyed the hiking on the top of Dois Irmaos and then the visit thru the Vidigal Favela with all the explanations. We also recommend Thiago as he speaks perfect English, which is very uncommon in Brazil.

My wife and I visited the Tijuca National forest today, led by Thiago (OIR adventures). It was fantastic! We saw interesting plants, trees, hiked to unique caves, enjoyed waterfalls and fantastic viewpoints. We went in a weekday and it was welcome break from the busy, crowded city. Thiago is the best. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We plan to connect with him on our next visit as he has other trips that sound amazing. We highly recommend a tour with him
