This was an amazing day out, well organised and reasonably priced. Went solo and enjoyed every minute, including meeting some lovely fellow travellers. Much of the success of this trip was due to our fantastic multi-lingual host, Rodrigo (probably spelt that wrong!) who clearly loves his job and made the day such fun. 🤩 Don’t be shy, go and try!!

Well worth it tour you get to do so much. The views were amazing and our tour guide was the best. Not only did she share the history of every place we visited She also shared her own story and experiences.

Due to Carnival activities, several city blocks were closed. Travel agency could not do the city tour. Instead, they wanted us to visit Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf only. We could not accept the change. The agency agreed to a refund.

1. The minivan came 30 min late. 2. None of the tickets were pre-purchased. We had to wait for the guide to get it in line for both activities. Too much time wasted on getting the tickets. 3. This is the reason why I put poor. I had reservered 4 adults for Sugar Loaf Mountain cable car. Even though, my kids were high schoolers, tripadvisor site clearly showed that no discounts apply for students when they are foreigners. So, I bookes 4 adults. The guide wasted so much time trying to get tickets for my kids as students when we are not Brazilian and resident of the country. This resulted getting the ticket so late which ended up going to the top after the sun had set. 4. The guide was not really good with English when I had asked for English guide. One of Brazilian guest in the tour translated this entire saga with student tickets.

I am compelled to leave a negative review for this tour from Rio de Janeiro to Búzios. The experience was far from what was promised, and the service provided was completely unacceptable. First, I specifically booked this tour under the assurance that it would be conducted in English, as I do not speak Spanish or Portuguese. However, upon arrival, I was placed on a bus where the entire tour was conducted in Spanish. Unable to understand anything, I expressed my concerns to the tour guide, Catalina, and requested a refund since I was unable to participate as expected. Unfortunately, she was unable to communicate in English, and no solution was offered. After 30 minutes, Catalina assured me that I would be transferred to another bus where English was spoken. To my dismay, the new bus conducted the tour in Portuguese, leaving me equally unable to follow along. Not only was the service I paid for completely different from what was delivered, but I was also blatantly misled. This tour was a complete disappointment. It is unacceptable to deceive customers and fail to provide the agreed-upon services. For the price charged, I expected professionalism, honesty, and the experience that was promised. I strongly advise against booking this tour if you value transparency and quality service.

Trip was disorganized. Christ the redeemer and sugarloaf mountain was left towards the end and took way too much time. Picking up passengers was not accurate to time and took almost 2 hours. I have been on more organized trips and there was 30 individuals in our group which is more than online, Don’t waste your money.

The guys cancelled our booking on the day of the tour. We couldn't even book our next tour... completely rude!! Would NOT recommend them at all.

We booked this tour and the driver never turned up. We waited for over an hour. We tried contacting the company through the TripAdvisor platform and also called their business number several times with no answer. We are now struggling to process a refund through the TripAdvisor app. Horrible experience.

Our guide, Israel, was outstanding. We had some issues connecting with the tour because Carnaval closed so many streets near our hotel, but the tour sent an Uber before and after. Appreciated that! Of course, Sugarloaf and Redeemer were the reasons for our touring. In the memory banks!

The sights were great and the guide was very kind. The bad: Very small bus, tour started an hour late, the lunch was as terrible, we selected an English tour but the guide only knew basic English

Communication and organisation of the tour guide was very poor which led to constant cofusion about where and when tour group members should be at the end of each activity during the tour. This also wasted a lot of time unnecessarily. Hotel pick up in the morning covered geographical dispersed area and took 90 minutes to complete which is too long. Overall tour experience was well below normal.

It was fantastic to see the many sites of Rio and well worth the trip. However, too much time was spent collecting and dropping people off. The ‘guarantee to skip the lines’ did not occur at Christ the Redeemer where we had to wait in line for an hour and too many people at the top. However it was worth it

With just only just over a day to spend in Rio, we wanted to see the tourist highlights of the city. We booked this as it included everything we wanted to see in one (long) day. Be prepared for a lot of queuing when visiting Sugar Loaf Mountain and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. This is not the fault of this tour, but the nature of many thousands of tourists wanting to see the same sites at the same time. The tour guide was well organised, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and kept up a high level of energy throughout the day. She enabled the waiting for these tours to be bearable. There was more than enough time spent at each location and we we did not feel rushed at all. The lunch was a fairly basic buffet, but had a good range of Brazilian and western foods. The tour was full, but the bus which was well maintained didn’t feel cramped at all – although if you are a larger sized couple the double seats might feel tight. This was the prefect tour for us to see Rio and I would highly recommend taking it is you do not have too much time in Rio. Tour taken 3 November 2023.

Full day of activities. Marcio was amazing and he knows his stuff. He was easy to talk to and he kept the group together. Definitely worth your time. It is a very full day so be prepared to be exhausted but in a good way.

Marcio was such an amazing guide. Really made it easy to remember the facts of the city. So glad we got him. The church, the stairs, christ the redeemer and even sugar loaf mountain in the rain was such a wonderful way to see this city we have waited all of our lives to come to.
