The guide knows everything about historical centre of São Luís He was excellent He told about tambor de criolo dancing very traditional dance I loved it

We took 3 tours with them! Santa Teresa tour was a gem & Lorena /Lola was knowledgeable, friendly and really lovely to meet. The African heritage tour led by Gaby was really informative & ended in the coolest party , absolutely stay for that. The whole party is around the same few streets, there’s tons of people, a great atmosphere and it’s easy and safe to grab an Uber when you’re done - don’t skip this part! Finally the tour around the city centre with Raphael was very nice too and informative. Thank you all so much for introducing us to Rio, we LOVE this city ❤️

I did the Centro Walking Tour with Pedro and it was AMAZING! Pedro was kind, funny and very knowledgeable, and kept the trip moving at a decent pace so we were able to see lots of the sights of the centre of RJ. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rio for the first time and who wants to get orientated, or to anyone who wants to see the interesting centre of RJ but is reluctant to do it alone.

Great tour visiting the historical sites of Rio. Visited the oldest cafe in Rio and some of the other cathedral and squares in the area. Would do other tours if had the time.

I Did the free walking tour in the historic center and in the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, I really enjoyed both, the guides were knowledgeable and open to any questions. Super recommend

Had an amazing experience walking Salvador Bahia with Sayuri. Great recommendations were suggested during a thoughtful tour that allowed the small group opportunity to meet people and learn about culture and easy of life, as well as history. Excellent communication with the organizer.

The Guide Raffael gave a nice insight of the city center. Paired with some really nice historic information. If you want you can get any recommendation for food or other stuff worth to do in the city.

The walking tour "Historical Downtown" was an amazing experience. Our guide - Pedro - was super nice, professional and he gave us a lot of interesting information about Rio de Janeiro. The tour itself is an amazing way to know better the city and also a perfect way to meet and connect with new people from all over the world. I definently recommend it !

I took both the Historical Downtown free walking tour and the Santa Teresa free walking tour. The guide spoke English very well. No issues with that. The tour oriented me to the area and I felt I learned a little about those two areas of town. That was the positive. I thought both tours were kind of lame overall because they lacked substance. I want to know what the events and people and political movements that led up to the creation of Brazil and Rio and (less so) this smaller area that we are walking through. Tell me about the making of Brazil and the forces at various times that were fighting against each other to form their version of Brazil then and how we see that now. I realize that the New World doesn't have as much to say as European countries which have gone through major wars and empires and the renaissance and the Age of Discovery and more major wars and political and religious movements. But Brazil certainly has a few hundred years you could talk about and that sets the backdrop for how Rio developed. I received none of that until the final 10 minutes of the historic downtown walking tour, which was the best 10 minutes of both tours. Yes, this neighborhood we are walking through should be discussed, but that commentary is best appreciated with Brazil at large in the discussion.

Juliana was so fun! She was high energy and you could tell she loves her job. There were 5 of us on the tour, we walked about 3 miles at an average pace and it was cool out. If the sun was beating down, not sure I would of enjoyed it was much. Lots of beautiful buildings with great history behind each. We walked on a Saturday and the markets were open and this added to the excitement of the tour. Juliana spoke in both English and Portuguese. She was easy to chat with and shared her own experiences living in Rio. I felt like a friend was welcoming me to the city! I recommend requesting Juliana if you want a fairly quick (3hr) and educational experience/tour with F-U-N of Rio with a bit of exercise.

An easy relaxed tour with a knowledgeable tour guide who basically takes your group around while providing the back story on key buildings and structures. Not too long, nor time intensive, and ends with a lovely rooftop meal (you pay for whatever you order of course). Way better than doing a self tour by app, and more engaging and interesting when with a respective group as well. Plus, you can ask all sorts of questions and get a ton on non-sponsored suggestions as it's a more informal type of tour and tour guide. Not mandatory to tip at the end of the tour, but come on - don't be that person! If you can splurge on food or trinkets, you can definitely spot the guide some cash (especially if you enjoyed the mini tour). We went to Rio in June 2019 so not sure how this works in the age of covid.
