We did a morning trip, pick up from hotel was on time , big minibus, guide very informative, Christ the Redeemer was amazing, was as I expected and hugely packed with visitors, would definitely recommend going by minibus and not by train as the trains looked really packed solid. We also visited Selaron steps again very very busy, and also the cathedral. Whenever you visit expect crowds , didn't bother us as we knew it would be busy, but if you don't like crowds maybe a sunrise visit very early. Highly recommend C2Rio and would use again on another visit.

This was a fabulous trip, especially as an introduction to Rio. Our guide, Joao, was first class giving informative explanations in English and Spanish and very happy to answer questions on a one to one basis. Our driver, Jorge, was really good and very reliable , picking us up punctually from every site we visited. These two guys made a very good tour into an excellent experience. Great boat trip with lots of good information about the history of the city. Would highly recommend the sunset cruise option as it heightens the experience even more!!

This tour covers everything in Rio. We started at Christ the Redeemer spend 40 minutes there which is sufficient. A city tour the visited the cathedral and the marvelous tiled steps. We then went for the cable car at Sugar loaf Mountain where the views in all directions are worth seeing. Our guide Joao was exceptional as he had both English and Spanish people on the tour which flowed seamlessly. Joao was very informative and passionate about Rio and Brazil and gave us good insight into life and times of the city. A mention should go to Jorge who as driver did a great job. Highly recommended tour.

Due to a "windy day" the boat trip was cancelled. We received this fantastic news when we were on the way... The plan B was not good at all. We made more than 300 kms back and forth to see two beaches. None of them was worth such a long trip. The first one, Prainhas do Atalaia, was small, jam packed with people, no shadow, prices too high. The second, Praia Grande, was indeed better, if you do surfing. Then we were taken to a restaurant in Praia dos Anjos, but we did not even see this beach, not at all. We were led to a restaurant which was too bad. Absolutely dreadful service + cold food "supposed to be warm". We could not even order drinks, believe it or not the waiters were deaf or blind... . The wrose service I have ever seen. If you are in Rio, avoid this trip and this company.

I can't even call this service a trip. It was basically a very overpriced taxi. The guide was nice, that's the only plus side. We (me and my husband) were the only 2 ppl in our initial group who wanted to do the safari/boat tour. So we ended up waiting for a different guide who just drove us to the safari entrance and dropped us off there. We were told that after the safari and boat experience we should catch the park bus!! to get back, and someone will pick us up to take us back to our hotel. A driver was there which was fine but the car had no A/C, which was very uncomfortable. Everything that this tour offers can be done easily on your own, saving you a lot of money and time. It didn't make anything easier, on the contrary, it was a confusion and we ended up waiting a lot.

We were picked up at the hotel in the morning, so far so good, the guide was nice and there were other people in the van. The first obligatory stop was in an 'artisan' shop - the itinerary said nothing about that. We entered the park by van, but note that it's faster to go by yourself and take the bus. It took around 10 minutes to get to the point where the walking path starts - the guide told a few things about the park - and that's where the 'guided' trip ended. Then we walked the path (the one where you see the falls), but you do it all alone since there are too many people there for the guide to tell you anything. After the path, the guide announces that we have to go for lunch and wait over 2 hours (!) for some other guy to take us to the safari. The lunch is in a nice location so we patiently wait. Then a new guy comes an tells us to go with him. We drive for 3 minutes (the same route that the shuttle bus covers every 5 minutes), he drops us off at the safari, says that after we finish we can take the shuttle bus to the park entrance where someone else will pick us up, and drives away. So do everything alone to be in the end taken to the hotel by a car without AC. Honestly I don't know how this trip has so high reviews up to date, for me it is at this price it is simply a scam and I'll be trying to get a partial refund for today.

Very beautiful place. Magnificent view of Rio bay. Unfortunately 4 hours in a queu was very tirying Would reccomend this tour but not during Christmas time

I am going on a 2 week South American tour starting in Rio and knew that the tour I was going on, wasn't going to visit the places listed here and was pleased beyond imagined. The tram ride through the neighborhood was my favorite part to mix with the locals as they get on and off and see their daily life. Our guide was great and very informative. It was nicely paced and covered a good amount of neighborhoods including downtown. Highly recommend this and well worth the money!

Would definitely recommend! Our tour guide Renato was superb throughout & went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was superb & views were amazing!

Really fun filled day! Got picked up at my hotel on time and each stop there was more than enough time to actually enjoy the scenery and all the culture offered. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Only nitpick is I wish we had gotten more history from our guide during each stop. Especially Christ the redeemer and sugarloaf mountain. It would have been nice to hear all the little details like how long it took to build, cost, how many workers, famous people visiting, type of material, etc. the bbq at Churrascaria Cruzeiro do Sul was good but the service was subpar. They’re extremely disorganized. There’s lot of other tour guides from TripAdvisor bringing their groups around the same time so expect a full house. Overall it was a great day. I really enjoyed the scenery and visiting all the sites!

The drive is a ways away from Rio, but it is worth the trip. The small town of arriel do cabo is a nice change from the big city of Rio. After securing a boat you go to a private cove that is suitable for non swimmers. Light snorkeling can be had and a lazy afternoon can start. I would recommend taking the time to visit the town and the beach.

A day well spent and the weather was perfect! We visited a lot of the top tourist attractions in one day. Our tour guide was super nice, informative, and enthusiastic.

From the price, to the breathtaking views of Rio, to the lovely crew… we had a memorable experience we will never forget!!

Worth it for first timers in Rio. Carla and Joel were very helpful. They were punctual and picked us up at the hotel. The guide spoke in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The guide was always ensuring that we were safe, having a good time and that we had sufficient time to take pictures around. The city's main sports are always overcrowded, maybe it would be good if the tour started at 7am, to be at the Christ at 8am when it opens the doors. But not sure if it would change much.
