Prepare yourself for unforgettable sites and views! This tour was just short of perfect and that is only because nothing is perfect, but this was truly close! Our guide, Wilson (?), was exceptional! He was timely, even forewarning me days in advance to the precise minute he was picking us up at our hotel. Also, he knew exactly what was needed and verified this info to get us safely across the Argentinian border to view the falls.

While that is the norm for most guides, I appreciated his no-nonsense method in ensuring us (and another couple) exactly the best routes to avoid the crowds at the sought-out points of views in the park. Also, we made a slight change to the itinerary to include a boat ride on the Brazilian side for the Iguazu Falls and Wilson made sure it was still arranged to see everything as promised!

The both sides iguassu falls tour is a must. The falls where absolutely incredible and each side gives a different experience. Big shout out to Silvana who was an amazing guide.

Our pick up was on time and we headed first to the Argentinian side of the falls. On the Argentinian side there is lots of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. You view the falls from above looking downwards. At this location there is lots of wildlife to see. Silvana was very informative and gave us lots of information about the falls during stops.

After this we headed to the Brazilian side of the falls. From this side you see the falls from below. On this part of the tour you can opt to walk around the viewpoints or for an extra cost take a boat tour into the falls (dry or wet) and rappelling. We decided to take the wet boat tour which I would highly recommend. You get to see the falls from a totally different perspective and after all the walking from the Argentinian side it was fun to have a different experience. Also if you do opt to take the wet tour, bare in mind you go right under a waterfall and you get completely head to toe drenched and your belongings so take precautions !

Just some tips if you decide to take this tour - it’s a good idea to take some snacks, the day is very long with lots of walking, and as you’re doing both sides in one day there is not much time to stop to eat - totally worth the hunger but maybe take snacks. Wear comfy shoes as I said, there is lots of walking. Take plenty of money as the tour doesn’t include the entrance fees to the Argentinian side, Brazilian side and take money for food, boat tours or souvenirs.

Finally I want to say a big thank you to Silvana, who was attentive, professional, kind and informative. She really kept the day smooth and was such a nice, friendly person. So thank you very much for giving us an amazing day. Totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iguaçu.

Fares is the tour guide and he is absolutely great. He is very friendly, taking great care to make we just enjoy ourselves. He is very knowledgeable and seems to know when to go or do to avoid traffic jam and crowds. My only minor hiccup (not Fares fault) is that the ticket from Aviator indicate the tour start at 7am but the confirmation reply which I forgot indicated 7.45am. So for a while I was wondering if the guide would ever arrive.
