We had a good time with André Távora as our guide. He took us along the beach to explain a staute, to the old town redevelopment, and to big city market. Where we shopped and ate. A very personable and accomadating guide.

Fortaleza is a complex city which embraces all its strengths. History is respected and its museums and public library are truly impressive. I recommend going to the tourist center at Mucuripe beach to get one of the tour books that have the extra bonus of gifts when you present the book at the visited attraction. As for the beaches, they are many with unique personalities. Plan to visit them all, you won't be disappointed. You must go to one of the two Chico Carangaga restaurants. These are crazy cool and offer the beach, great food awesome service, private pools and just a pure party atmosphere.

I booked 2 trips with Vitorino Turismo in Fortaleza, one of them was the trip of 3 beaches with the Excellent English-Spanish-Portuguese guide Fatima Franca and the second one was the City Tour with Rodrigues. The tour with Fatima was organized very well. The way how she introduced Brazil and Fortaleza and those 3 beaches was full of the professional passion and speech , great mood , bright emotional stories and always with a smile. But i am so disappointed and upset with the City tour. Rodrigues was late for 15 min, he didn't introduce himself to us, as a guide, he behaved like a driver and when asked the girl seating already in the car :" Is it our guide ? She said :"No, he is a driver , he is driving us to the bus" And when we picked up the couple from Sao Paolo it was a surprise to realize that we were only 4 people in the car and Rodrigues was our guide . The way how he started the tour was: " Poor me, i have to work on Saturday , it is not a privet tour with the money, it is a group tour with only 4 people and i have to be a driver and a guide". He started to do his job in a lazy mood with the behavior , like we owed him . He spoke in Portuguese and he gave me just a couple sentences in English . I said to him for 2 times : " Please speak English , Translate what you said in Portuguese , I paid for this service." He answered:"OK,OK" but kept on speaking only in Portuguese. I could not stand it anymore and i said loudly: "DO YOUR JOB Properly , Translate everything you said in English." The answer was miserable:" It is not a privet tour , I am not obliged to speak English ,If you talk to me loudly, i will drop you in your hotel straight away." He didn't humiliate me by this answer , he humiliated the company he has been working for . I took 3 tours in Recife and 2 tours in Salvador with English speaking guides and the travel companies organized those tours very well , like it was with Fatima. After my complaining to the manager of Vitorino Turismo , Rodrigues suddenly changed his behavior ))))). He found an energy to work properly, not to be lazy anymore, his speech was professional in English, it was stick to the point , no more unnecessary words. Thanks a lot to the manager of Vitorino Turismo for the not ruined city tour on Saturday!

Wonderful experience. I Have never thought there would be so many beautiful places in Ceara. Me and my family are in love and will definitely come back. Vitorino definitely helped us on the way through Ceara. They're 10 out of 10.

Miriam was an amazing guide for the day. Very enthusiastic, lively, and knowledgeable about Ceara and Canoa Quebrada. The team is also organized and punctual. I would highly recommend anyone booking this day trip with this company!

It was one of a lifetime experience. I recommend it to everyone, the landscapes where amazing and the attention of the guide IVAN was incredible. I wont go with little childern, It is for adults. Lago do Paraiso great, the buraco azul is super amazing, la pedra is beautiful and the landscape in the sunsets is amazing.

The only thing I feel dissatisfied is that the trip is actually Portuguese though it was written bilingual when I booked. The guide is nice. He found a English-speaking person right at the restaurant, but I miss all the introductions along the bus drive. For the future traveler, it is necessary to know that the activities (such as dune buggy, boating, etc) are optional extra. The trip fee you see here basically just include round bus. The buggy drive cost around 70, and Jangada is 30 just in case you want to know.. The activities are arranged a little unorganized. Dune buggy is fun! It lasts whole morning. You will get stop in different spots to take picture, have some rest or just explore the area yourself. Around 12, you back resort. You can choose to attend other activities or enjoy beach yourself. I chose jangada at first, but nobody came to call, so I didn’t know where to meet and when to start.

This was more just round trip transport from Fortaleza to canoe quebrado. However they fulfilled their mission 100% and this guide also spoke English and tried to include me in with the other 8 Brazilian guests on the trip. They basically drop you off at a higher end resort for 5 1/2 hours which gives you access to the beach, a pool and dining/drinking on the beach. Other activities are available for purchase once you get there such as dune buggy, kite surfing etc. Vitorino was on time, reliable and safe. Recommend 100% and would use again.

Really fun and affordable trip with a couple of exceptions. They stop once they get near jericoacoara so everyone can get out of bus an buy a 30R permit to enter the national park. This recess took almost an hour. The cost of the blue lagoon went up to 15R. Even though all the literature said there would be a bilingual tour guide, don’t be surprised if your tour does not. Right now 90% of the tourists are Brazilians. I’m fine with that just don’t claim the the tour will be in English. Otherwise the company did a very decent job. It’s a must do if in Fortaleza. In fact I regret not spending a few days in Jericoacoara had I known how nice it was.

We went a couple of days to visit Fortaleza, and we did three tours with Vitorino. First we went to the Canoa Quebrada tour, second we went to Cumbuco, and last but not least we did the tour to Mundaú and Flecheiras. All the trips were well organised and the guides are always in for joke as well. The guide was also always availaible for responding extra questions. Some pointers which could be better: -The trip pricing is without the optional rides. However it would be great if it is mentioned in the brochure regarding the cost of the optional tours. - The barraca Maré Alta is great and has good food, however unfortunately the sound from the neighbour is flooding the sound. - When you are welcomed in the bus, you are told that a lot of things are not allowed such as drinking anything else than water in the bus, and even eating something. Finally for tours to beaches I would suggest having busses with interiors ready to accept wet/moist clothing. Since it does not make sense to insist on not entering with wet/moist clothes in the bus. When you are visiting Fortaleza you must seriously consider a tour with Vitorino. You will not regret selecting a tour.
