We just returned from a delightful week in paradise . Please keep this in mind I’m a 80+ and so is my spouse but my Son and Girlfriend in their 50s . We enjoyed the week - the place is compact so not a lot of walking about . We were placed in a lovely room but on a hill but our balcony overlooked the sea “Lovely” my spouse was recovering from recent surgery so we were unable to handle the hill but not a problem Sandals had a golf cart available within 10 minutes of a request for pickup to wherever we wanted at anytime beach ,pool, restaurant etc. we never met a unfriendly person . The Beach was very nice and water refreshing . For my spouse and myself it was a little difficult negotiating getting in and out of the water we are not quite as agile as the younger folks but between my family and strangers who always jumped in to help us navigate the soft sand and under tow so we enjoyed it tremendously. My Son purchased blowup rafts from Amazon so we floated in the Caribbean for hours . There are 2 pools a quiet one and one were there was constant music or entertainment (games) going on with a swim up bar. It was nice too. Remember now at Sandals all refreshments are included 24/7 including your room fridge always replaced everyday anything used. The restaurants were terrific and meals plentiful. You can request doubles of anything including lobster tails and filet or appetizers too. Sometimes we ordered 6 appetizers for our table to share. Then each ordered are favorite I’m telling you this is a wonderful outfit .(sandals) My one complaint (not really a complaint) we had a nice large room with a balcony( 2 chairs and table plus a rack to hang wet suits ) and large bathroom BUT there was no door into the shower area wide open with a glass enclosed shower😱but there is a frosted glass door for privacy with the toilet closet 🙏😁. At 80+ and several lbs overweight I’m not prancing about but after 60+ yrs married there are no more secret stuff to uncover 🥰or discover 😉. This was a very relaxing vacation and I highly recommend this Island .i spoke with others who told me this was their favorite of all the other they visited . It’s a safe island to go on tours too . We did one 4 hr private tour in an enclosed jeep with an excellent driver who gave us a terrific and insightful tour of his island with stops to buy some fresh spices and trinkets. We enjoyed breakfast at The Eagles Nest. Cesar as well as Emma took great care of us. The food, coffee and service was fabulous.
