- albertfamily110400ENDLESS FREE SAMPLESIf you love ice cream and instagram worthy photos then this is the place for you! Get your tickets in advance and come hungry! You can eat as many of the samples as you would like but you can't go back. This is a self guided experience so you can go at your own place. great for the whole family but not centered completely around young kids for example me and my friend 18 & 19 years old went by ourselves and had a great time so its not only fun for kids.
- Elie M00Over priced and not worth itWe visited the museum of ice cream ( i still don't know why they called it museum , they should change the name ) i'm not going to complain about the waiting time and all this it's fine i guess everyone was fooled by ads and excited to see what's inside They charged us 32$ pp and 28$ processing fees which i still don't know why ! We went in and there is no infos about ice cream and you will get free scoops it's not even tasty my kids didn't finish i saw the other people in the group complaining too you will guid yourself through four different rooms it's nice to take pictures And finally the amazing pool there is nothing special about it you can go to any trampoline playground and there is more than ten pools like that Finally the place is full with rainbow flags which i totally understand if it's a gay museum but consider that some people don't like there kids to see these stuff Thank you will never be back again
- Rezulak10100If The Exhibit Had A Flavor It’d Be MehThis activity is located near a mall with shopping and food options. Parking is free. When you first arrive, you will wait in an indoor and outdoor queue where you will provide your purchase information and receive a group name. You will wait in the ice cream parlor/gift shop until it is your turn to begin. We found most staff condescending, snarky and cold. You begin the tour in a room where you write a fake ice cream name for yourself on a name tag, the team member spoke to the group like we were misbehaved children. She continued with, “Okay, welcome everyone. Okay, everyone. I’ll wait if I have to. All eyes should be on me. We need to remain quiet so you can hear me. I’ll wait.” The very important information she needed to tell us? That we are now ice cream cones and will explore an ice cream world. Next room was cute with a juke box and fun wallpaper. Two ice cream choices were provided. These ladies were a bit nicer. Raspberry non dairy with toppings offered or vanilla. Banana room was trendy and fun to take pictures in. Cotton candy was available only if you do “tasks” you complete off balloons you seek. Giving our compliments to strangers, speak to staff about things you like or learned and so forth are examples of this. We liked taking pictures on the chocolate covered animal cookie seats. There is a sprinkle pool that was fun. Two slides. Another room with ice cream mini samples. Zero museum aspects to this building. I was hoping for plaques, videos and interactive pieces providing an abundance of ice cream history and facts. We paid for four ice cream sundaes in “pools” - staff almost seemed annoyed to do this. 2/4 kids spit out the ice cream and said it tasted weird. The staff will provide you with clean pool dishes to bring home. Merch was cute but very overpriced. We would not visit again for the price point and staff attitudes. Not enough to keep people interested.
- Clerissa J00Not quite what I would call a museum…You walk into a “waiting area” until you are called back to enter the museum. The waiting area is packed with people, as this is the entry room and the exit room once you complete your experience. Bring a fan, that room is HOT. Honestly, you will probably be hot for the majority of the museum experience. Good place for photo opportunities but not many facts/learning opportunities that comes with the name “museum”.
- amyw201200A Fun Place for PhotosI bought tickets online and got a much better rate for before 11:00 tickets. If was worth it for the price I paid. We took our 3 teenagers, and we all had a fun time. I enjoyed all of the areas. There are so many opportunities for cute pictures and all of the ice cream you can eat. I think the brand of ice cream was Blue Bunny which was pretty good but no Blue Bell. My favorite was the vanilla, and my husband’s favorite was the cherry They were both in the first room. We went back at the end to sample them again, which was encouraged. The employees were also all very friendly. 3 of us won free scoops at the end. We were so ice creamed out, we only got one of the scoops. It was the birthday cake, and I liked it better than the ones given out in the museum. Overall we all enjoyed it, all the rooms were fun, and we got great pictures. It was a great one time thing. It was in a nice outdoor mall, and we also enjoyed visiting the nearby Tesla store.
- TannerEL1600Super Fun!!!Most everything was pink (which I loved since pink is my favorite color)! Every room was decorated differently which made for great photo opportunities! Some of the rooms gave out ice cream and you could have as much ice cream as you wanted while in those rooms. You could back track through the museum rooms and even get more ice cream if you wanted!! Some rooms had fun things to do in them like games or fun things to read. The museum wasn’t super informative about learning about the history of ice cream, but it was super fun!!! The sprinkle pool was a little disappointing as it was smaller than I thought and not super deep. This museum is very kid friendly. If you want to eat an ice cream treat that is special after the museum visit, make sure you purchase when you buy your tickets! We got the sprinkle pool sundae and it was amazing!!!
- trevar202300Facts on a wall, not a museum at all...If you are expecting a "museum" dedicated to the history of ice cream, this is NOT the place for you to visit. I was looking for a stop between Dallas and San Antonio for my husband and I to stop on a Sunday afternoon. $40/person admission fee is more than should be charged for a self-guided walk through rooms with facts about ice cream. There are 3 ice cream stations throughout the exhibit, but the entry fee made each scoop roughly $12/scoop...which is more than a scoop at the Blue Bell Creamery in Bernham. I will admit is was a fun and whimsical environment, but as part of a high-end outdoor shopping center you get what you pay for sometimes! However, next time I will look closer at the reviews on places like this...
- twinsdad545400Overpriced, not worth the price of admissionMy wife and I recently visited the Ice Cream Museum in June of 2023. We arrived and were told that we had to buy tickets online. I didn’t understand why cash isn’t accepted. After we bought the two tickets ($32 a piece) the charade on my credit card was for $96! I inquired about the “fee”, not one employee could answer what the extra fee was for. We walked in the museum, we ge let like it was a big playground. We were hoping to see more about the history of ice cream. We expected typical museum information. We saw one wall with some ice cream facts. We entered at 1:30pm, and walked out at 1:55. The last room was an ice cream bar. We were informed that this part of the museum wasn’t included with our admission. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. If you’re considering going to this venue, it’s way overpriced.
- AlesiaTheuenin00Not a museum, feels like it exists to get influencer photos and weirdly expensiveYikes. This is not a museum. You will walk away less cultured than when you came in. Should’ve done more research, it’s just everywhere else I’ve been called a museum is actually a museum. So I took a date there and was like…god I’m sorry. It’s just a place for ~15 year olds to get Instagram photos. So each room is really dedicated to you getting a cute lil picture of you having fun with a lil background and then move on because it’s really strictly to take insta photos at. The workers were really nice but I felt bad for them having to wear the costumes and interact w/customers in that way. It’s also weirdly expensive. Don’t get it, just call it what it is and it will appeal to the right audience, who is not me
- hannahv85200Whimsically fun!Loved the aesthetic & had a wonderful time being care-free kids again with my Husband, Mom, & Cousins! 😊💕
- Bhavnadarirac00Could have been better. This was a good place but I probably expected way more after seeing so much on social media. Definitely did not find it worth the money we spent due to lack of options. Being an ice cream museum the only ice cream flavours they offered inside were vanilla, pumpkin and matcha. I wish they had more variety… also there were no signs that mentioned about the free candy. So I ended up walking out without it. When I informed this to the staff , a very sweet lady from their team went back inside and got me bag full of all the different candies. That was very kind of her. Overall this place is more of a walkthrough and there isn’t much to do. In the end it opens up to the ball pit area which was fun. Apart from that the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. Will visit another branch maybe if they add more fun things.
- sue7205800INAPPROPRIATERemove inappropriate onsite media. There is NO WARNING of inappropriate materials that young children are exposed to bb
- LANETTE J00Great for all agesMy granddaughters were visiting from California and this was the perfect experience to share with them. 14, 9 and 8. They loved the sprinkle pit the best! I enjoyed the key lime pie and blueberry crumb ice cream best
- Ally L00SO MUCH FUNWe had a blast with all the interactive games and unlimited ice cream! The staff were so much fun and friendly. It was so much fun acting like a kid again with the sprinkle pit and searching for the golden sprinkle! Would definitely recommend to anybody coming to Austin!
- sandrawQ5071LB00Over all funOverall it was fun but my daughter misplaced her phone…. Completely her fault but you are unable to call the location just to follow up to see if they found it in the sprinkle pit. It’s also hard to understand why the pit doesn’t get cleaned more often. Every two week is gross lol

It thought the price they charge was not worth it the experience. You pay 32 dollars on the weekends and 29 on weekdays. Supposedly you can eat all you want ice cream. My daughter was so excited that she even did not take lunch so that she could Enjoy all the flavors. We arrived to our appointment on time. We had to wait on the long line for about 30 min. They give you a tiny popsicle while you wait. Once in there, the place is very small. Maybe you go through 6 rooms total. The first room, it has some sort balloons on the ceiling, tiny room and nothing else. The second room you go to this station where they give you a tiny cup of ice cream. Very flavorless, my wife shared some from her ! I did not even get one. Kept waiting, got bored and I just went to see the fake jukebox. There are some tables where you can sit and

My husband and I did the “Night at the Museum” for adults only and they provide drinks with the ice cream samples. It was so much fun and definitely worth it! Lots of fun activities and picture worthy moments. We enjoyed every minute of it. The staff made it even better because they were having a good time as well.

Lots of ice cream!!! Super fun rooms, the girls (10 yr olds) had so much fun. They spent hours in the sprinkle pool. The adults had fun with the basketball hoops. We had popsicles while in line and cotton candy once inside. The staff was super friendly.

The staff was by far the best part of the experience. As for the actual experience, it was overpriced. The ice cream was underrated and rock hard. There was no ice-cream history, so don't let the name fool you (Museum). Unfortunately this was a disappointment and wish I could get my money back. $90 dollars for roughly 6-7 tiny bowls of ice-cream, next time I will spend my day in the HEB freezer isle.

I confess. I'm confused. Am I reviewing the Museum of Ice Cream in Austin or the Museum of Ice Cream Austin? Is there a difference? My wife and I visited the Museum of Ice Cream at 11506 Century Oaks Terrace in Austin, in The Domain shopping complex. Previously, we had visited the Museum of Ice Cream at 435 North Michigan Avenue in our hometown of Chicago and were alerted to the Museum of Ice Cream in Austin. So here we are, rediscovering the kid in us today. Sure, this is an attraction that is geared for kids. But adults are welcome. Open from noon to 5 Monday, Thursday and Friday, 10:30 to 7 on Saturday and 10:30 to 6 on Sunday, adults and kids can eat unlimited ice cream and sweet treats as they make their way through the experience. Learn all about ice cream and its history across 12 multi-sensory installations. Play games at the animal cookie carnival and jump in the world-famous sprinkle pool. Stop at the cafe, bar and retail shop for scoops of ice cream, milk shakes, signature sundaes or brand cocktails or buy a gift or souvenir. Adults can order a classic frozen pick lemonade with vodka or a pink paloma with tequila and grapefruit juice. Adults and kids can order scoops of Dutch chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream ice cream. Or indulge in a banana split milk shake with banana pudding, chocolate fudge sauce, yellow whipped cream, pink chocolate shell and a pink dipped cherry. Or splurge ($18) on a sprinkle pool sundae with strawberry, Dutch chocolate, vanilla and banana pudding ice cream served in a Museum of Ice Cream souvenir bowl with chocolate sauce, strawberry topping, caramel sauce, whipped cream and red and pink sprinkles. Even a couple of 82-year-old retirees can feel like kids in a place like this.

I loved the whole experience! You also got to taste different ice cream flavors pretty much every room you go into. The staff were super engaging and made the experience so much better. Love the brown sugar cinnamon flavor! 😁

I thought I was in the middle of an amazing dream about Ice Cream. Then... my daughter pinched me and I realised we weren't in dream we were at The Museum of Ice Cream. This is a surreal space and a magical place.

The staff here made the experience! Very unique experience with something for everyone to enjoy. The ice cream was tasty and the cocktails were fun. A little bit of education as well. Did you know chocolate ice cream was invented before vanilla?
