Brinn was incredibly entertaining and had a great sense of humor throughout the tour. I loved the variety of bars we visited from rooftop bar, a speakeasy, and historical hotel bars. This was a joke of a tour. Had nothing to do with ghosts and more of history.
I also talked to the tour guide about what it was like and they told me that this was their first time giving a tour. The lady also told me they get paid only $50. A tour. So that would mean with 24 guests, that's a profit of $600+.
And the script is 100% plagerized. I found it online. Literally do a Google search. Almost word for word. This is the worst company ever and treats their employees like objects apparently.
This tour guide ended up throwing up in the middle of the tour and told me she would get fired if she left. Please, this is a scam.

This is extremely serious, and we are very sorry that you got this kind of impression of our company. Our guide's pay is based on reviews and experience, and it is a tip-based profession. As far as our scripts go, we give guidelines to our guides, but allow them to tell the historical events in their own words. If you were told plagiarized information, we need to look more into what exact content our guides are giving during the tour and figure out what needs to be changed. It is especially unfortunate that your guide felt as if her job was in jeopardy if she ended a tour early due to illness. Our company puts our guide's safety as the number one priority, and we give them full discretion to close the tour for situations out of their control (severe weather, accidents, illness, etc.) We have always stressed this, and we will give all of our guides a reminder about this. All feedback is appreciated, and we will look into everything you had said so we can see what adjustments need to be made for future tour improvements. Thank you for making us aware of this experience.

This tour was a waste of money. Our tour guide seemed like a nice person but you could tell she was trying to recall what she had memorized. She had little to no enthusiasm with delivery that lacked depth and authenticity. Bless her heart. I would not spend money doing this tour.

Even though our tours are scripted as far as historical events to retell, we hire/train all guides to be passionate and enthusiastic about the content they are giving their guests. We assure you that what you experienced was not the standard, and we will do what is needed to make this right. My boyfriend and I were the only ones on the tour, so we felt like VIP’s; amazing experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and a great story-teller. He took his time telling story after story of Austin’s haunted history. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide, sherry, was a wonderful source of knowledge regarding the history and haunts of Austin Texas. Sherry gave us detailed imagery so that we could imagine ourselves in the time period bringing an immersive experience. She would also bring up jokes and word play to lighten the mood after the more darker parts of tour giving us a 5 star rating tour for the night.

My boyfriend, my friend, & myself went on the tour with Sherry. We enjoyed it! There was so much history shared and it was all VERY interesting. My favorite part was the Serial Killer stop and the Driskill Hotel stop. Those two spots gave me the most chills! I didn’t take any pictures because I’m still hesitant to open myself back up to the paranormal, but I really enjoyed Sherry and her enthusiasm! She did such an amazing job and was very knowledgeable. She shared the story of Samantha at the hotel and we were able to go see the painting of her that hangs in the hotel, this hotel made my entire arms get goosebumps! I will definitely lookout for more Ghost City events where I live (Houston) and when I’m traveling.

My daughter and I loved the tour! Sherry was great, and she was very knowledgeable about the history of Austin's ghosts. I would highly recommend this tour. The tour was much more detailed than we expected, and our tour guide was a great storyteller. If you like history and ghost stories, this is a must-experience tour.

We started out at the haunted bar and got a couple of drinks (not included in the tour, it's just the meeting place) and then met up with the rest of the tour outside. Our tour guide was super friendly, had a great sense of humor, and had an adorable dog named Betty who is half-blind and three-legged, and had a super impressive memory since he kept infusing tidbits from our personal lives we shared into the tour.
Side note: A lot of these buildings are slated for demolition, so make sure to book the tour while you still have the chance!

This was a really enjoyable look at the unknown history of Austin. Our tour guide Bug was very knowledgeable and engaging. We’ve done a couple of walking tours in Austin and who’d certainly recommend this one.

I highly recommend this tour! We have lived in Austin for 2.5 years and learned a lot on this tour. David was a great tour guide, he was highly knowledgable about the history of Austin. We had a great time.

It was a fun time! The tour guide gave lots of interesting stories. Definitely wear your walking shoes and take some water. While at the Driskill, I did see a spirit of a blond woman in white hanging out by the top of the stairs. She was unwelcoming. The guide thought it might be the adult spirit of the little girl who died on the stairs, as apparently some people have seen this, but I do not believe it was her. This is definitely something fun to do while in town, you get lots of Austin history.
