I found Castle Travel online and was impressed by the customers' good reviews about travel experiences with this agency. I contacted Castel Travel and booked a private tour to Sagalassos from Side. The agency was very professional: they allowed me to pay for the day tour by card only, charged my card with the sum we agreed, and sent me the invoice and the travel voucher. The driver punctually picked me up from my hotel, and the trip to Sagalassos was enjoyable. My guide, Tulay, constantly gave me a lot of exciting information about the places we passed by, the history of the region and its surroundings. We spent a couple of hours at Sagalassos ... an impressive archaeological site. Tulay significantly helped me understand this place's uniqueness, explaining to me the evolution of the archaeological excavations, the history of the Roman town, and its cultural, military, and economic relevance. I've enjoyed every minute spent in that magic place. At noon, we had a tasty lunch in one of the restaurants in Aglasun (included in the trip price). In the afternoon, we visited the fantastic Burdur Archaeological Museum, where the original sculptures of Sagalassos are hosted. Tulay was again very helpful in understanding the value of the place. Finally, I was dropped off in excellent condition and spirit at my hotel. Thank you, Castel Travel and Tulay, for this fantastic experience; I would travel with you again anywhere in Turkey. I strongly recommend Sagalassos as one of the most impressive ancient sites in Turkey !!!

Found this travel agency online and took a chance to book a tour with the help of Tugra who has been very helpful, accommodating and provided great service with coordinating my preference of having the hot air balloon and red tour on the same day. Experience was great, everything was on time and didn’t feel like they are rushing us. Shout out to Tugra for giving amazing customer service.

A very hot day but our guide gave us the best advice. An excellent place for lunch. And then to visit the hot springs in pamukkale. We took a vehicle inside to tour the ancient city which was amazing!! Our guide accompanied us and took some excellent photos. Super recommended!!!

It was as amazing trip with Ahmet, a very kind and professional guide who doesn’t fear any improvisation. A perfect day full of archeological sites, nature beauties and swimming in the so called Cleopatra’ s pool.

We spend our day exploring Virgin Mary’s House, the Ancient City of Ephesus, Sanctuary of St John’s and Isa Bey Mosque among other attractions. Despite an extremely hot weather, we had an excellent journey. Our guide, Seyhan Dogan from Travel Castle, was very knowledgeable, experienced and accommodative of our needs. Seyhan’s English is flawless, he has great sense of humor and enjoys what he’s doing. On top of everything, he took us to excellent shops where we found amazing deals! Highly recommend

We visited Pammukale, Ephesus, Sirenci village, Artemis temple and the whole experience was awesome, made possible only because of the excellent services provided by the guides and the drivers. Our time ended up not matching up because of problems with the timing, not their fault. They worked with us for a refund and it was very appreciated. We did have a great day in Turkey at the port, but we were sad we could not meet up. Thank you for the cooperation.

We had a great tour of the House of the Virgin Mary and Ephesus with our guide Seyhan. He was knowledgeable and was open to questions while giving us free time to explore. Buffet lunch was delicious ! If you come to Kusadasi, this tour is a must!

We visited Ephesus with Seyhan of Castle Travel in what turned out (lucky for us) to be a private tour. This was our second day with Seyhan as a guide who took us to Pamukkale the day prior. He is extremely knowledgeable and you will be lucky to get him as your guide.

We had a wonderful and attentive guide in Seyhan. He was able to accommodate our more active goals as well as 3 other guests on our tour. Seyhan is incredibly knowledgeable and well educated about the ruins and area, with a pleasing and enthusiastic passion for the history of the area. Hats off to our driver Sulley (spelling?) whose 45 years of experience driving gave us peace. The theatre is absolutely amazing as are the cotton travertine cliffs. Stunning. We saved Kleopatras baths for the end of our tour. Do not miss it!

Pergamum was capital of the Kingdom in 281–133 BC. It was transformed into one of the major cultural cities of the Greek world. Many remains of its monuments can still be seen and especially the Pergamum Altar. The city was built on a series of terraces. The Acropolis emulated that of Athens and the Library was 2nd only to that of Alexandria (Egypt). Trajan reconstructed the city when it became allied with Rome and Hadrian declared it a metropolis. One of the seven churches of Peter is located there.
