          Informative
Very interesting tour that teaches you that all animals have a very important roll on this planet. The guide was very informative and was genuinely very keen to answer any questions.

          Great tour experience
This was a great tour. The Park Ranger Shah was very knowledgeable and discussed a lot of safety measures. The tour does take you to a little island for a bit of swimming in addition to viewing a bat cave, an eagle cove, etc. The only confusing bit was finding your table for lunch at the end of the tour. But eventually you will find your spot and meal which consisted of fried chicken, fried rice and a salad.

DO NOT USE THE COMPANY 'HEADOUT' TO PURCHASE TICKETS!!!!!!
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH 'HEADOUT' This review is not regarding Langkawi Cable Car Sky Bridge Eagle Nest Walk. It is a review regarding the company HEADOUT who we purchased our tickets from. We bought our tickets online using headout. We decided to buy Express lane tickets because it was Christmas period. We visited the attraction on 26th December, queued up in the 'Express Lane' to get the correct wristband. When we eventually got the the front of the queue to the desk we were informed that tickets from HEADOUT were not valid because HEADOUT was no longer one of their ticket suppliers due to not paying customers money to the attraction. Staff helped us to complete a form to forward to HEADOUT to get a reimbursement. We emailed HEADOUT who did reply and they issued tickets via a QR code for the following day, with lots of apologies and expressed regrets etc etc. They assured us that the problem had been resolved and we would not have any more issues!!! The tickets they sent over did not have use of the Express Lane. We emailed back immediately but did not receive a reply or new Express Lane tickets!!!!. When we arrived the next day we queued again to get our wristbands and once again were told that the tickets WERE NOT VALID!!!! As we were flying home the next day and wanted to visit the experience we had to purchase 2 more tickets from the desk!!! We have lost a lot of money because of HEADOUT - 2 lots of ticket purchases and 2 return taxi rides to Langkawi Cable Car Adventure !!!!! Since my return home I have sent several emails to HEADOUT asking them to resolve the problem, they have failed to reply to any of my emails!!!! I feel I must warn the general public about this horrendous company!!!!

          A bit of a rip off .
The email for the booking said that we would have the driver for 6 to 7 hours, but the driver tried to dump us after 5 and a half hours, said his boss said to . After a few angry words he waited a bit longer , but we felt pressured at that point . He also took us way off track to a mangrove boat thing , that was priced very high and going by his reaction when we said it was to expensive, he was obviously getting a kick back from the boat guys and not happy with the loss of extra money. Overall don't use these people.

Convenient but not value for money
The driver and car were up to our standards. Spots covered were as described in the listing. However, we realised on the day that we could've hired a local taxi and achieve the same result at fraction of the cost.

          A brilliant day over all
A very extensive tour with lots of wildlife and scenery. The guides and drivers were brilliant and made it lots of fun. The only downsides were poor toilet facilities, and being 30 minutes late for collection in the morning

Great place Bad experience with Royal Mangrove Tour
The scenery was great. Lovely colors. However please DO NOT book through Royal Mangrove Tours. We had booked them through our hotel. The tour started late by a very sullen boatman. He did not even offer us life jackets. The boat was driven at breakneck speed with us hanging on for our dear lives. We had booked snorkeling. Many boats stopped at the cove for snorkelling but our person discouraged us tellibg water was cloudy. When we insisted he did not help at all with the gear or provide suggestions sitting in sullen silence. The rest of the tour proceeded at similar breakneck speed and while other nearby boats stopped at coves and near islands he drove on with a vengeance. At the fish cultivation center we stopped and saw him smirking at our discomfort . Only on entering the river did the tour slow down and become better. He did not give us any tour talk explaining things and managed to finish a 3 hour tour in 1 hour 45 mins.

Excellent with Royal but watch out for nearby unhygienic unassociated toilets
There are several operators. Ours was Royal and was excellent. Great value and lots of fun though parts were over hyped. Thoroughly recommended for about 2 plus hours on board a speed boat seeing fish, eagles, bats , monkeys and fabulous views with history and eco facts of the mangroves. However before getting on we visited the closest cafe outlet which was basic in extreme and though we had 6 snack meals and drinks we discovered afterwards the state of the toilets. I’ve never ever seen such filthy toilets. The outlet is called Anis and should be avoided for certain. Nearby they advertise and charge 1 ringet to use toilets which were also very poor but were at least useable with a hose pipe and bucket as long as touching anything could be avoided. Much closer to the boarding area are toilets somewhat better!

          A Day Trip to Langkawi
It was a fabulous experience of our life booking Langkawi tour with Jara Holidays. Brother Shahril , our cab driver was like a family . He took us to amazing sightseeing here. Even he managed to get Dosa for us in Langkawi. My family enjoyed the best of Mangroves Forest. The boat ride through the sea was amazing. These beautiful memories were worth watching. Thank you so much.

Watch out for 'private tour' upsales
This 'private' tour started off great. Our guide was waiting with a sign and a big smile. His English was rough but we could understand most of what he said. It was a nice drive through the island to our first stop with the giant eagle which was stunning. On the road again he began telling us about a great waterfall we were going to next. I didn't remember a waterfall in the tour description, but ok.... The place we stopped was actually a sales pitch for us to ride a motorcycle to the waterfall. My husband is mid-70 and I once crashed a moped. Needless to say, we don't ride motorcycles. They pushed some but we were strong in our'no'. Back into the car. Now our guide began talking about these amazing mangroves he was taking us to next with birds and monkeys. The way he described it, we thought it must be on the way to the sky tram. Guess again. We pull into an area of tourist stalls, he hopped out, told us to get out, pointed to a lady, and said she will help you with the mangroves, when you are done I am parked over there. Her drove off. Immediately the lady started showing us a number of mangrove tours we could take for an extra fee and another 1-2 hours. At this point we said enough. We walked to our driver and firmly told him to take us to the cable car and sky bridge - the main things we wanted to see and what we expected from the trip description. This is where things got weird. He called his boss who said the cable car wouldn't open until noon (it was 10:30) so we should do the mangrove tour or just stay at the beach. We said No. He drove off, was speaking intensely on the phone, suddenly pulled onto a dirt back road that went nowhere. We were getting quite concerned. He went back to the beach saying there were car problems and a cab was coming. And back on the phone. We sat there waiting. We kept insisting he take to the cable cars and we would wait there. Suddenly there were no more car problems and off we went. He passed his phone to me to talk to his boss who pushed more for us to stay at the beach. Emphatic no! It took over 1/2 hour to get the cable car area and it's now pushing noon. (Which is the time they had said our tickets were for when they were trying to get us to stay at the beach). As it turned out they did not have tickets, instead we had to get in line for tickets and learned the next opening was not until 1:30. We were so upset we said, just take us back to the ship. He put me on the phone again. The boss justified, tried to get us to take the spot and etc. Wasn't good. Finally the driver took us back and we spent the whole morning not getting to do the very thing that we purchased the excursion for. Through Whatsapp the boss asked if he could try to fix it? How? By then it's too late. I said he could refund and he said no. Then he wished me a Merry Christmas (PS this was Christmas Day).

          Fantastic day out
Fantastic day out getting to see different parts of the island. Our tour guide Abu was very friendly and shared alot of his local knowledge. He was also flexible in terms of adjusting part of the trip due to another booking we had made. Take extra money if you would like the quad bike experience with photos

Beware extra charges, ask for ticket entry allowances before buying
Beware extra costs. This is truly a feat of engineering, and has beautiful panoramic views after the island and surrounding areas. But ...the ticket system is super confusing, we wanted to go on the sky bridge and were told it was closed, so we just bought a ticket for the cable car , however when we got there, it was open, and there's an extra charge, you can either walk up and down or get a fenicular ...either way you are charged, there is also and eagles nest lookout(another charge ), which is a very good view, it has a few dinosaur figures for kids to sit on/get pics with , but these are broken and very cheap and tacky looking. The sky bridge is fab to walk along, beware of the macaque monkeys there, they seem ok ....but ...are known to try and steal from you. The cable car is one way down to the bottom, so if you want to stop at the eagles or sky bridge you MUST do it on the way up ...this was not explained on buying the tickets , the ticket office lady explained nothing at all and just wanted our money, there is no info leaflet given out to give the history of this place. There are photographers at every turn taking your pic (somewhat forced), then later on ask you for the money for them ...I politely refused....why get a pic on a horrible backdrop when you have a pic of the ACTUAL view ? Just another money spinner It's a shame that these things put a dent in the experience here....we arrived at 10am and we didn't we queue at all , the whole thing took about 2 hours, we got down and the queue was huge. The oriental village at the bottom has a few tourist shops and a food court which looked pretty run down and half empty, we used the bubble tea cafe which was very nice and not too expensive.

Excellent ride and beautiful view atop the mountain
Cable car ride is excellent. Beautiful view of the sea from the mountain top. But London Bus service being offered at the parking area is a scam. They are misguiding tourist saying that cable car ticket counter is 400 meters away, so take the bus. But in actuality, the ticket counter is less than 200 meters. No point taking the London Bus
