About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- SabiDog0 contributionsHighly recommended day out of KLFantastic day out. Caves were stunning from the outside, vibrant and impressive, but if you’ve been in lots of caves, the inside was interesting from the religious perspective, but a little underwhelming. The monkeys were hugely entertaining! The elephant sanctuary was great. It was educational (you must get a guide) and lovely to see the great work they are doing there. Time with adult and young elephants was precious. Fantastic to see them enjoy the river too. Faisal our driver was just the best!! He was kind, informative and clearly loves doing these trips. We had a great day - thank you Faisal!Written July 24, 2024
- Nomad131386487510 contributionsGreat day with elephantsAll in all a fantastic day for our family. Our driver Faizal contacted and informed us about pick-up time the evening before. He showed up perfectly on time. Faizal is very nice and informative and arranged the first stop at Batu Caves. Then we went to the Elephant Sanctuary. Faizal seems to know that place and people very well and he organized a guide there for us which was very nice and interesting. We all learned alot about elephants and we certainly do not regret going on this tour. Faizal and his feiends delivered a very good experience for us all.Written July 19, 2024
- laurayinmay0 contributionsDouble check your pick up or you will get confusedVery confusing - IF you get cabs it's on another floor, if you get grab go to the lower level to get your grabs for someone new it's very confusing So check which taxi or who you got otherwise you will be waiting at the wrong place!Written June 26, 2024
- Eve7950 contributionsAmazing day out as a family for all agesAmazing day out , driver and tour guide so friendly and informative. Can definitely recommend . Loved getting so close to the elephants.Written June 19, 2024

- L5336DGhanss0 contributionsUnprofessionalVery bad experience. After I contacted them to pick me up to the KLIA airport I have been told to confirm the booking two days before departure. As I did so via whatsapp, they have been reading the confirmation message from my side but they have blocking me afterwards and did not reply at all. Probably because the pick-up time has been in the middle of the night and they don^t wanna service this late. Anyways not replying and simply blocking a constumer is very unprofessional. Cannot recommend this company at all!!!Written February 19, 2024
- Go6287710 contributionsA very special dayThis was such a special day. We were collected from our hotel by our driver and guide for the day, Faisal. If possible request Faisal, he was so helpful and informative. The Batu caves are wonderful. If you’re fit you can climb the steps, there’s a lot of them! But just wandering around, taking in the sights and watching the monkeys interact with the other visitors is equally fun. Then it was onto the elephant sanctuary. We paid the extra for the guided tour. We were accompanied by Tajuddin Nasharuddin who has followed in his fathers footsteps to work at this sanctuary. He has an intimate knowledge of these magnificent animals and talks with honesty about the challenges of their work with them. We had a simple tasty lunch and then joined the crowds for the finale show where you see the elephants frolicking in the river. Each elephant is allocated a keeper and they have a special bond which is obvious in the river. It’s wonderful to be able to support and encourage the work they do here, very humbling. Please do go! We’d like to say a special thank you to Faisal for making the day so special.Written February 16, 2024
- 19Robert760 contributionsThis place is a must for anyone traveling to Malaysia, it will take your breath away..!!Oh my god, it was amazing!!!! We had two drivers. My car had Ramzam driving I’m so sorry I can’t remember the other drivers name (who was lovely by the way). What a lovely pair of guys. We got stuck in a jam on the highway, I think the time of day and time of year. 23/12/2023. Ramzam was lovely chatting too. Hugely informative and an absolute pleasure to be in the company of..! So the Batu caves were as always very nice. It’s a bit steep if you’re not so good on your legs. This time there was no monkeys but I think it was a special day as there was loads of people there for possibly a celebration or pilgrimage. I saw a few people carrying (milk I think) on their heads in special vessels. It’s an actual temple at the top here, so please be courteous. You have to be covered up to be able to go up the steps to the top. It was amazing to be able to whiteness this. I’m so so very proud to of been able to. Once we had been to the caves we headed on to the elephant sanctuary. We had a chicken rice meal on our arrival then met with our elephant vet/ guide ‘Dee’ who was hugely informative and ever so passionate about her role at the sanctuary. We found out that this place is a hospital for sick or injured elephants where they rescue them from injuries or trouble. Some of the elephants had lost limbs or tails or were injured and scared from tiger attacks or accidents. The keepers who work with the elephants really do their best for them all. They know the personalities of each of them. The trust between the keepers and each elephant was amazing to see. We watched them take the elephants to the river and wash them down. Both keeper and elephant ended up totally soaked but looked very very happy in the environment. We got to feed some of the younger ones who loved taking the sugar cane from you while in their pens. This place literally took my breath away filled with joy and love. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m still buzzing over how awesome this place actually is. Huge thank you to the government for paying for this place, huge thank you to all the staff at the sanctuary who clearly do an amazing job that is clear to see they all love. Plus a massive thank you to the your operators who we booked this. Our drivers took us after to an unofficial stop for my 11 year old son to try durian the fruit. In the end we all tried it, my son and daughters, myself and my wife. I have to say it’s not to my liking but it was another amazing experience doing in this beautiful country. I’ve been to Malaysia probably 15 times now, my favorite place to be in the world! Thank you to everyone who sorted the trip out. 🙏❤️Written January 5, 2024
- 266JulieC2660 contributionsGreat cultural experience! The experience of meeting, feeding and petting the elephants was magical. Learning about how they are looked after etc was very interesting. Batu Caves was very interesting too. The driver was excellent.Written November 12, 2023
- andrewgM1646LI0 contributionsCaves and elephantsBooked this up months in advance not realising it was Malaysia National Day. Pickup as bang on time however traffic was much busier than usual which meant a little rearranging (elephants first then Batu). Elephants were good, paying for the up-close session. Amazing to get so close to these creatures. The sanctuary guide was excellent, loads of info and knowledgable. Kids enjoyed and bring it up nowadays - result! Food was decent and water provided - it was hit but that’s no surprise. Batu caves next and despite time advancing, had an hour to walk around. It was busy but again being National day, not a surprise. Chatting on way back to accommodation we got some good advice on shopping locations - local knowledge! Overall a good trip.Written September 26, 2023
- Amy B0 contributionsElephants, monkeys and caves - a great day out.Brilliant day out! Ramzan, our driver and guide, was exceptional. From pick up at our hotel to drop off, his knowledge and info about Malaysia, Batu Caves and the elephant conservation was brilliant. Nothing was a problem, he even stopped randomly on the way back for us to try Durian - tastes better than it smells! He warned us of the monkey behaviour at Batu Caves - don’t have water bottles or plastic bags in the monkeys sight, you will lose them. The Elephant conservation park was a highlight. We took a behind the scenes educational tour (120MYR) which was amazing. Our elephant tour guide was fabulous. Got to feed and give a neck rub to the elephants. Saw 3 very large elephants have a river bath and got to meet 3 youngster which was wicked. The education around wild elephants and how they help them was exceptional. Note of help: Take cash to the elephant park. No card facilities out there. Thank you so much Ramzan for an amazing day out!Written September 19, 2023
- R6812BOmicheller0 contributionsNice dayWas a lovely day trip out to the Elephant Conservation Centre (our guide wanted to make it clear it's NOT a sanctuary but a conservation centre where they mange elephant/human conflicts). We were picked up in a comfortable car and Amir was a friendly driver. To be honest, there's really not that much to see there. We saw and interacted with 3 adults & 3 children elephants. Just a heads up though - since the centre is free they will ask you to make a donation, so make sure you have some cash. Our driver also recommended we do the guided tour and he was good enough to co-ordinate with one of his other drivers so that we could combine with another couple and split the 120 ringgit charge with them. Again though, bring cash and be prepared for this cost. I think the guided tour was worth it as you learn a lot more than just walking around the park and you got to get up close to all the elephants. We didn't have enough cash so our driver kindly paid everything for us and he had an EFTPOS machine in his car so we could pay him back that way (& give a tip).Written September 13, 2023
- patrickrI8765SV0 contributionsA day at the Batu Caves and Elephant SanctuaryGreat communication and punctual pick up from the hotel in KL. After a very short trip we arrived at the Batu Caves. What an amazing sight. The statue of Murugan is an incredible sight to see. Then you take the trek up the 300+ steps to go and see the inside of this breath taking cave. It was wonderful. After the climb down, we went back into the car to drive to the Elephant Sanctuary which is about 1.5 hours away. The drive is beautiful and Murali the driver was giving me all kinds of information about many of the things we saw on the way. We arrived at the Sanctuary and got checked in quickly. The only thing i wished was that there were more elephants. But it was nice to see how well these rescues are treated and I loved feeding them. Then we got back in the car and drove back to the hotel. The driver once more showed me many things and even drove up to the entrance of the palace where the King lives. Overall a very good tour. I enjoyed it very much and can recommend.Written August 6, 2023

- Sightsee641414316350 contributionsWonderful experienceExcellent day visiting both the Batu Caves and the elephant sanctuary with Fitri! He was very kind and welcoming and full of great stories and facts about his country. We had a blast. The caves themselves were stunning and worth the 272 stairs up in 34°+ heat. The elephant sanctuary was a massive bucket list item off the list. It was great to see how well taken care of the elephants are. We did the education tour at the sanctuary and I would highly recommend it as it involved a very up close experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone!Written August 5, 2023
