          Underwhelming
I chose this trip because it seemed a good all round experience although predominantly it was for the elephant experience. Our driver was friendly but was not a guide so he did not come with us on the experiences. We started at the Batu caves which is a religious temple. I did not realise that as a woman we should have our legs and shoulders covered. I needed to buy a sarong before I went up the 250 stairs. Next was deer land a family run ‘farm’ like place . Not impressed deer ,chickens, geese and other birds shut up in cages. Run down and under whelming is all I can say. Then onto the elephant sanctuary. I chose this as it sounded eco friendly described as not a tourist environment elephants living in their own environment etc. The place is well run we stopped for lunch before a video on how the sanctuary rescues elephants. The video was hard hitting it showed how elephants were removed from their habitat because of farming palm oil on their land . They were split from their herds most never getting with their families again chained and sedated and transported by lorry and boat. It was really upsetting to watch. We were then taken to the baby elephants were we could by sugar cane to feed them. They were chained inside large cages where they could reach the public just by end of their trunks for the food. Then onto the stage where 4 adult elephants were paraded showing tricks etc . At this point we got up and left feeling very disheartened. We were then taken to an area where we met the local monkeys . Again you can buy food and they will climb all over you to get it. Friendly and non aggressive in their natural environment was fun. We were driven to a local resturant for dinner which was nice then onto the fire flies. On a boat along river they looked just like fairy lights in the bushes . There was no commentary or explanation about them but was glad I had a sarong and insect repellant. The whole trip was long and underwhelming unfortunately

          Good cultural experience
The Batu caves and the fireflies were the highlight of this day trip. If you're going to the Silverleaf monkeys then definitely take mosquito repellent. Our driver was very nice and the overall experience of the day was great.

          Disappointed
Disappointed. Information said trip to Melaka would take about 1 1/2 hours. Took 4 hours. Left late. Driver only. No guide. Driver did his best to show me around but kept looking things up on google and Wikipedia to tell me about things. I was happy to walk but driver seemed tired by the walking and thought the 4K we walked was a lot of walking! I didn’t think it was much at all. The included lunch very disappointing in a very cheap place. Then very long drive back to hotel in KL.

Awesome tour, issue with the price though.
The actual tour was great. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it cost double what the advertised price was. I decided to go ahead anyway. Although the driver picked me up at 5am, the 2.5 hour trip still took 4 hours due to holiday traffic (not their fault) However once I got there I was waiting for around 1.5 hours to join another tour, because the one I was supposed to join already left. After all that the tour was fantastic. Although the 2km trek up the jungle mountain was very hard for this 60yo woman, I did feel proud that I had accomplished it. The guide was very informative and very friendly and approachable. The canopy walk was a bit scary but well worth overcoming any fears. The lunch at the floating Indian restaurant was absolutely delicious. I had vegetable fried rice and a vegetable omelette, both were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. After lunch we went to the native village to learn about blow pipes and making fire, that was amazing and probably one of the two biggest highlights of my visit to Malaysia. Then we did the rapids, I had been a bit nervous about that, but it was a lot of fun and a nice cool down after a lot of hot walking. A great way to finish off the day. I was expecting to go on a bus, but I was in a private car with just the driver and I. That was fine though. He was nice. I would recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent. Our tour guide Mr Chandran was amazing as he was so knowledgeable and friendly. Had adequate time at all the stops and the included seafood dinner was lovely. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was a nice trip with many activities
The trip was nice. We saw many places like: Batu Caves, silver monkeys, elephants and fireflies. The food was nice, they can offer dishes for vegetarians, fish and meat lovers. Deer land was closed but we have spent more time in elephant sanctuary and it was amazing. Reminder for ladies: please take a long pants or long skirt for Batu Caves. Otherwise you will have to spend money and buy some scarf there. There was no a tour guide. Only a driver. We spent extra money to hire a tour guide for elephant sanctuary. But in other places we were trying to understand everything by ourselves. No one told to us to take mosquito repellent for a fireflies tour. It wasn’t written in the recommendations. So we were forced to ask for it other people because at night there were many mosquitos. I think the company should write about it. In general, I would recommend this trip because you can see many places in 1 day.

          A fabulous experience!
Had a fabulous day with a lovely couple from the UK. Chandran was an excellent driver and guide for the day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had enough time in each place without feeling rushed. It was lovely to be able to feed the elephants and hear about their rehabilitation and we enjoyed seeing the different monkeys throughout the day. The Batu Caves were busy but an amazing experience and we managed to see lots of fireflies despite it almost being a full moon. A brilliant (though long) day - thankyou!

          We saw some great sights
Our driver was prompt to our hotel in the morning and greeted us with a smile and a hand shake. We started by telling us about our day and where we would be going to. We had a full minibus to ourselves so had plenty of room for comfort. First we saw some elephants at the sanctuary and was able to feed them and learn all about the differences between African and aisian. After we went to the deer land park for a quick stop to see many different animals and feed some deer. We then had lunch at a great local cafe where they made food to our needs and how we liked it. After we went to the Batu caves where our driver gave us plenty of time to explore by ourselves which was great. Finally we went for a lovely seafood dinner which our guide ordered for us before we watching some fireflies on a boat which was a brilliant sight. Thank you for a great tour.

          TOUR
We had an amazing time on this tour and our guide Chandran went the extra mile to ensure we were safe and happy throughout the experience. He did a good job of explaining the conservation efforts for the elephant sanctuary and the challenges of infiltrating elephants back into the wild. The deer sanctuary was interesting but we didn’t need much time here and this was more of an add on to the elephant sanctuary as it was close by. We did a surprise stop in a textile shop which was awesome, demonstrating and explaining how to make local textiles which we really enjoyed learning about. The batu caves were beautiful and we were given plenty of time for exploring as well as the time to get up and down the steep steps. We saw the silver monkeys as well the light house in Kuala Selangor which was a further added bonus and worth the stop. Our final stop was the boat ride to see the firefly’s which despite it being a full moon, was still amazing to see! You need to prepared that rain will modify this part of the trip as the fireflies are not visible in the rain. Both the restaurants picked by our guide were really tasty and price was included with the tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone, but be prepared for a long and active day with lot’s of driving!

Great views and a fantastic driver and guide
We drove with Rama, he was an excellent driver and guide. The Trip to the teeplantages was very impressive. He picked up early in the morning, because of the traffic jam and stipped at every scienic place. Everything was realy perfect. Thank you.

Long 12 hours Tour - A lot of Interactive Activities with Nature
I can't say more than enough that the tour company was very professional and provided a high-quality experience. Mr. Segar took us to many places and extra places even when we removed some attractions we had already been to. National Elephant Conservation Centre Kuala Gandah was an extraordinary visit while feeding elephants up close. Meeting with monkeys and feeding them was also fun, and the Firefly at the end. Please go to book this tour, it is well worth the experience!!

          A perfect day!
It has been a great excursion. Lunch and dinner were delicious. Our guide Sara, along with the driver, have taken us and guided us everywhere very well. Furthermore, he is learning Spanish and has prepared many things in our language, it is a pleasure to meet such kind people. At the end of the day we were like the monkey in the picture.
