Nice and long stairs good experience however be careful of the monkeys and the stairs too. Dress appropriately otherwise you have to rent a sarong.

        A Bit Disappointing
Quite disappointed that there were so very few fireflies - perhaps no more than a dozen. Not sure if it was due to the time of the year, but I really expected to see a whole lot more! The actual trip out from Kuala Lumpur was great - the driver was very knowledgeable, and made several interesting stops on the way. The "seafood" dinner was just an average asian dinner - a chicken dish, vegetable dish, two seafood (a prawn & an octopus) dishes and a fried rice - for the 5 of us at our table.

Most Horrible Buffet, Zero Customer Service: ABSOLUTE SCAM
One of the popular tourist places in Malaysia, the KL Towers, and the famous revolving restaurant on top of it. We booked a high tea for our family after reviewing their menu online and after speaking to them at least 3 times to confirm if some veg options are available. The website shows many veg options such as a live pasta and pizza station for various veg options, at least 3-4 types of potato fries, fritters, etc, many types of breads, desserts, salads, and a few veg snacks too. The website says in so many words that to request for more veg options, you can call a couple of days in advance and request the chef, which we did. However, on reaching there, we were appalled by a so-called world-class experience, which was nowhere even a decent restaurant both in terms of food or customer service. Hi-tea timings are 3.30 to 5.30 and we reached at 4 pm and there was NOTHING VEG. Only one pizza which hardly had any topping and that too came after multiple escalations and complaints. There were NO veg snacks, the desserts and food options were basically left-overs from their lunch buffet as those kind of items are never a part of a hi-tea buffet. One of the chef having a meeting with some important stakeholders was the MOST RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL person ever. On asking him why there are no veg options even after calling them, and I mentioned the lady I spoke with. Instead of being helpful, he started being rude saying he will take action against the lady who promised that...in fact he should take action on their website too as it also mentions veg options :) LOL. All in all, one of the WORST experiences we've ever had in any country visited so far. At 5pm, they started replenishing the buffet with same items for dinner :) LOL...So, you don't know how stale is the food and there doesn't seem to be a change in the menu and it DOESNT ALIGN WITH THE WEBSITE. ABSOLUTE SCAM for MYR 90+ per person. Please save yourself the horror and look for other top-storey restaurants and bars in KL. There are many by the way that will also treat you well along with serving good food.

Scenic paddy field, yummy seafood n cottage industry
A regional area with lots to offer. Scenic padi field and opportunity to visit a paddy mill. Plenty of yummy and affordable seafood restaurants. Do visit the wet market, plenty of fresh fruits and things to buy. Don't forget to buy back some fresh seafood - superfresh and cheap. They packed it very well and provided us with shaved ice. Stop by the beach to enjoy the breeze and enjoy the swing (not perfect but bolehlah). Pop by Ah Ma cottage shop n enjoy some kueh kapit and baulu. Enjoy some great memories of the past. If u passed 50's 🙂

Avoid - NOT Fascinating at all
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience and would not recommend this service. It was very dissppointing to say the least and a huge waste of money. We had a driver that had very limited English so we had no commentary about KL or about the areas we were driving through which made it very long and boring. The mini bus seats were uncomfortable and had half empty water bottles in the seat backs. We were not given water until we asked for it at the fourth stop and even then the driver had to pull up and buy it from a street vendor. It would have been nice if we were given cold water after the first stop at Batu caves as it was extremely hot. Batu Caves was excellent with enough time but it went downhill from there. We were then taken to some dodgy watch shop, a terrible coffee shop and asked if we wanted to go to a chocolate store. Although the lunch was an excellent indian buffet, it was in a large restaurant down some laneway. Not what any of us were expecting as we thought we'd have a more cultural experience as suggested by the title. We did not get to go to: -Royal Sengalor Visitor Centre (apparently too far!!) -Jadi Batek Gallery -Little India Brickfields I don't know if we passed Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Saint Mary's Cathedral or even KLCC Park as there was no commentary from the driver as to where we were.

        Avoid!
The driver hardly spoke English. His comments were limited tob” this is church” or „ go there”. Leaf banana lunch did not happen - the Indian restaurant was out of leafs and looked not inviting. We came back to our ship much earlier. Avoid!!

        KL Whirlwind Tour!
Booked this tour as was pick up from Port Klang & being a good hour from Kuala Lumpur was a bonus. Roy was our driver for the day. He was a jolly guy & a diligent driver in some very busy/crazy traffic! The vehicle was clean with good air con. We opted out of visiting the pewter place by choice. Batu caves is a must see. The Batik place had a quick demonstration then a look round their gorgeous products. Plenty of silk patterns & fab shirts. We stopped for a lunch in Brickfields which was enjoyable then onwards for the sights of KL. We thoroughly enjoyed our whirlwind tour. The only suggestion I have for the operator is if you added a visit to the Central Market to allow travellers an hour for looking/buying this would be a perfect day trip for those on a tight schedule. Thank you Roy for an enjoyable experience.

Total scam - do not book
No driver showed up. What it tells you No cancellations No refunds No specific reviews - but apparently a quite well regarded operator what it doesn't say No communication at all from operator once booked No show Irrespective of whether the refund goes through or they get away with stealing my money it's a day of hard earned holiday wasted now. 2nd day in a row now the booked activity has not happened for whatever reason. To TA management You really need to sort out the quality of operators you represent in this area and their practices or else nobody is going to be able to rely on your site. I've never had such consistently poor experience.

Wonderful day trip in KL with the lovely JOEL
We did a private tour through with locals and had the amazing Joel as our guide, he picked us up from the port, very easy to disembark we arranged a tour doing partly our choice and parlty his, We were picked up at 9am and travlled to the Bhuta Caves really wonderful experience and not one many if any of the cruise ships go to. We then cam back in the city and took photos of the twin towers, went to central market and had a lovely lunch, went up the KL tower and then went to various famous sights in KL and walked around the traditional streets, he dropped us back at the port for 4.30pm. There were 5 of us and the cost was $250, I would def recommend doing this rather than a curise tour which is 3+ times the price.

        Excellent tour!
Our tour guide was fantastic. For us the highlight was a stopover to feed the monkeys. So much fun. Dinner at the restaurant was great and of course the boat trip to see the fireflies was fun.

Not a tour, not safe, better off booking a driver directly
This is not a “tour”, simply an agency organising a driver as there was no information provided about the places visited. Our advice is to take a few GRABS/taxis on your first few days in KL and find a car/driver you like to get a direct quote. This will ensure that the “tour” doesn’t get a big cut, you’re comfortable with the car and driver. Reasons for one star - Car tyre broke in the middle of the highway : my family was stuck in the middle of the highway for nearly two hours at night on a rainy day. Did not receive an apology from the driver or any estimation of wait time. We had five people on a 12 persons van yet the quality tyres were as thin as a motorcycles (attached photo) - Dirty car : we saw a few cockroaches on the car and the driver had a smoke next to the car every two hours or every pit stop - Overpriced : Cheaper to get direct quote from driver and not through tour agent. As this is NOT a tour, agent simply organised a driver - Unorganised & NOT on time - our driver did not arrive on time and when calling the tour agent they were not aware of this (I.e driver and agent have poor communication between them). We waited for an HOUR bf the driver arrived. Reason provided was “stuck in traffic” but traffic was like a normal workday in KL and nothing unexpected had happened - Unprofessional : We contacted the tour agent when we were stuck in the middle of the highway. The apology did not come straight away, it only came when the “is there any compensation offered for being stuck as we will be arriving at 10pm instead of 7:30pm” was asked. The agent kept pushing away with excuses such as “call when you r back to the hotel” or “I need to ask my higher up”. I’ve called at least 3 times now with the last response being “I will be give you a call tomorrow afternoon after speaking to my higher up”. We never received any call back. Reasons to go Cameron highland- - boh tea plantation: worth the drive as very pretty and organised area. Our recommendation is to NOT join this tour - as my family did not feel safe during this trip and felt that it was very unorganised. Cameron highlands is a beautiful place that can be visited through directly getting a quote with a driver and car you like :)

        Great visit
The tour pick us up at our hotel and deop us back after, which was wonderful. The driver was telling the country’s history during driving, and we learned a lot about Malaysia. Since we have already visited the Batu Caves, he brought us elsewhere to visit a Batik factory, which we appreciated a lot. Then, he brought us to the Deerland which we didn’t find it so interesting at all since we’re from Canada, and all the animals there were domestic pet in Canada lmao. Otherwise, we had fun at the elephant sanctuary, and the driver was very kind and helpful! We would highly recommend this tour.

Family Fun at the Cameron Highlands Full Day Tour
We thought it was going to be a bus ride, but ended up having a personal driver, Raja, in a company vehicle and it was just our family for the day. We were pleasantly surprised that we had a private tour. Raja was very experienced and made sure our day was filled with lots of information and history, as well as fun and interesting sites to see during the day. He was quite professional and very eager to accommodate us and make sure we had a great time!! Highly recommend!!!

It was not a very pleasant experience. If someone asks me about it I can only say that we just went to the different stops. However, they did not stop at the last one the Petronas Towers and when i asked about it since there was a photograph (indicating a photostop) mark above the stop on the brochure they said it was a mistake...

The buses were at a bad condition with damaged roofs from rain, damaged outside and at moments felt more like a ship. Also the speakers were outside and since we were inside we couldn't understand a word of what the guide was saying and overall the acoustic was bad anyway (we took the morning bus also and sat outside).

Furthermore, they advertise 2 hours of sightseeing, but it is more like 30 minutes sightseeing and 1 and half hours in traffic. Lastly on their poster it says river of life...wait until you see the rivers at day time - not really their fault ...

But, hey, there were some very nice buildings to see!! Kuala Lumbur is nice to visit in order to buy some products at better prices and stay for some days since its quite cheap and the hotels have amazing facilities !!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. It sounds like several aspects of the tour did not meet expectations, from the condition of the buses to the lack of clarity from the guide and the misleading information in the brochure. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this caused. Your comments about the Petronas Towers stop and the overall quality of the tour are very concerning to us, and we'll be addressing these issues with our team to ensure they don't happen again. We understand how frustrating it can be when a tour doesn't live up to what was promised. We're glad to hear that you still found some enjoyment in exploring Kuala Lumpur and appreciated the city’s architecture, shopping opportunities, and hotel amenities. We hope that if you choose to visit again, your experience will be much improved. Thank you again for your valuable input, and we wish you safe and happy travels in the future.

The tour was as advertised - a drop off service with little or no information. The car was clean, but the windows were small and so deeply tinted that it looked like there were no lights in the city. The driver, Harry, was a genius at maneuvering the vehicle into easy for us access spots, but he was tired (told us repeatedly - at 9:30 pm - that had been driving since 7 am) and had totally had it with all the incompetent drivers. He was frighteningly aggressive with both his horn and his accelerator. BTW he was about 20 minutes late because he went to the wrong hotel to pick us up and found it more convenient to drop us across from our hotel rather than at it at the tour's end.

Dear Noah, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations. While we're glad that the car was clean and the driver, Harry, was skilled at navigating the city, it's concerning to hear about the issues you encountered. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the tinted windows, which hindered your ability to fully enjoy the sights. We're also very sorry to hear that Harry seemed fatigued and expressed his frustration during the tour. Safety and professionalism are our top priorities, and we will address this situation with Harry to ensure it doesn't happen again. Additionally, we regret the mix-up with the pickup location and the less-than-ideal drop-off. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future. Thank you again for your review. Safe travels!

This was my first trip on my own and for anyone out there too nervous to try, I’d say go for it. I naturally didn’t feel comfortable going out at night on my own but have had such a wonderful experience on this tour as so much was included. Hery the tour guide was very friendly and relaxed, so it made the tour enjoyable. My favourite part was visiting a chinese temple around the chinese New Year celebrations. The beauty of Malaysia is how harmonious and diverse the country is so there are so many festivities to enjoy that each tour must bring its own unique magic with it as we visited a big variety of places and had a reasonably flexible input into how long we wished to stay at each stop. It’s not long, but you get to see much more than you’d be able to think up. I’d do it again the next time I visit

It was our first night and whoa, it was well worth it. KL by night is beautiful. Our guide Prasan took us to at least 6 places each stop from the temple, china town , KL Tower, Petrino Towers, Merdeca Square, River of Life. He gave us enough time to walk around and take photos at each stop.

I had a great time on this private tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, could answer pretty much any question I put to him. He didn’t rush me, and allowed me plenty of time to take the pictures I wanted, and was also happy to take pics so that I could be in them. There key religious and local sights I very well would have missed if not for this private tour!

This experience ruined our trip to KL We had done a 1/2 day trip in the afternoon and had a lovely driver who had been helpful from the start.

The previous day we had used the trains to get to the Batu caves and everyone on route was so helpful and kind.

As a tourist, when booking with RRT Travel and Tours through this site we did not realise that KL has two Hilton Garden Inns. We arrived in the lobby promptly and communicated with the driver. We then took a call from an extremely aggressive woman. Customer service does not exist here. We appreciate the mistake but I was so upset with the call and distressed to be spoken to in such a way that my husband had to take over. He also found her tone I accepted and had to say ‘I am going to stop you there’ to get a word in. Every time we tried to find the driver we lost connection as we was walking away from the hotel WiFi.

Most distressing and sad event which we will talk about more than all the good things this country has to offer. Will suggest the British stay at home.

We acknowledge the confusion caused by the existence of two Hilton Garden Inns in KL and the subsequent difficulty in locating your driver. It is disheartening to hear that the communication from our end added to your frustration. We are currently investigating the incident and taking steps to ensure that our team members receive the necessary training to handle such situations with professionalism and empathy. We had Kumar as guide and driver in an ASNI travel agency air conditioned car. He picked us up at the hotel @ 18:00 & dropped us off just 21:00 for our 3 hour Best Of KL at night tour. He informed us what he would be covering as Stopovers: a Chinese Buddhist & an Indian Hindu temple (their names are too difficult to spell here!), Little India/India Town, Independence Square , King's Palace/Istana Negara, Chinatown Hawker foods & Petronas Tower's Symphony Fountain. Kumar spoke English and did provide us with a narrative of each city highlight. He accommodated us with our requests when we needed more time for certain stopovers. I find this small group tour (works out to be just for the two of us!!) to be well worth the CAD 48.74/ person !! Highly recommend this night tour..

Our guide and guide owner of the tour company Suresh was exactly what we needed to see and learn about KL. Friendly, conversational, informative, easy to be with; Could not have been happier! Felt like we made a friend along the way!!

Terrible experience. Our driver, Mr. Fendi, had left when we got down to the lobby at the very hour of the start of the tour. He didn’t speak a word of English, and he demanded a tip of 50 RM just because. There were other people in our tour, and since they needed to cut it short because they were leaving, he cut it short for all of us. Not a tour I’d recommend.

We’re sorry to hear of your less-than-satisfactory experience with our tour especially with the driver and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible service, and it sounds like we missed the mark this time around We have spoken with our driver and are taking steps to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Your feedback is important to us and helps us grow. I hope you will give us another chance and contact us again when you’re ready for your next trip!
