Alvin was a very good guide, knowledgable and introduced the different parts of the city center and some historical background of the places. I was the only customer and he still held the tour for me, I really appreciate it.
I’d recommend his tour to people who enjoy walking and getting to know KL.

Fabulous walking tour with Alvin today. Alvin greeted me with a bottle of water and some treats that were most welcome. Alvin is extremely knowledgeable about the history and origins of KL, the buildings, the cultures, and customs. I was the only one booked in today, so had a great 1:1 experience. We stopped off at a bar to get a drink and wait out the rain shower, and he introduced me to his friends as if I was a friend!
I would highly recommend Alvin and this tour. A great way to acclimatise and orientate myself to KL.
Thank you Alvin!

Whenever I visit a new place, I like to experience the sights, sounds and smells by doing a walking tour. Our guide, Alvin has lived in KL for about 20 years and really shares a lot of knowledge about the history and culture of the city. Some of the places we visited included Chinatown, Central Market, Little India the National Mosque and the Botanical Gardens. If you are visiting KL for the first time or you have visited before this tour is a good introduction to the city and its people.

To be recommended as the first thing you do when arriving in Kuala Lumpur. Walking tours really help you get to know a place. Alvin clearly enjoys what he does and is an excellent guide. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, having made an effort to learn about the historical and cultural background of KUL. He is equally passionate about history in general which means there are also many exchanges on various topics, should you wish to, as you make your way around an interesting selection of locations in a 3.5 hour walking tour. Money well spent. Thank you Alvin.

Great tour. Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humour. We learned a lot about KL and saw places that we hadn’t visited before. We covered a lot of ground on a hot sticky day. You need to be relatively fit to do this your. It is all on flat ground, but over 10 km so not for the extremely elderly. We had a really nice day and I would book this tour if you’d like to learn more about KL all in a day!

We had a really good (if *hot* -- not his fault!) walking tour with Alvin from Chinatown to the Indian Brickfields neighborhood, a goodly ~5 mile walk. Alvin pointed out architectural details and history, and notable food (the mochi lady!) along the way. We saw Petaling street, Central Market, Merdeka Square, Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple, National Mosque (from the outside,) the Botanical Garden, train station (air con!). Alvin gave us a "goodie bag" of snacks and water that we definitely made use of during the 3.5 hours. He is smart, funny, curious and well traveled -- a great guide.

A great day out , we did the morning tour today and had a fantastic time. We saw a lot of things which we definitely would not have without the tour and learnt a lot about the city from a locals perspective. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting KL, we were taken on the tour in a small group making it much easier to interact and ask questions along the way. Also super friendly and entertaining too , thank you.
