Prompt tour guide. Very informative on KL knowledge and sights we were taken too. Easy friendly driver. Gave us a lot of extra info on other tours which we did also thanks to him. Wasn’t rushed at any stop. Worth the money.

    Not what was expected
The boat trip was thrilling but a change getting on and off the boat. No information as to how long at each stop. The walk to the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden was not a stroll, did not count how many step were involved but a good number. Once at the lake there was no area to sit and relax/recover. Feeding the Eagles was brief and over before you knew it. It was low tide on the beach island that ment no water sports and swimming was only achieved once you navigated the large stones.

    5 star tour
We booked this tour via Orbitz last minute. Wanted to get a general feel of KL without too much walking in the sweltering heat. We were picked up around MATIC by Dhevan in nice and clean Honda. Originally booked a shared instead ended with a private tour. Dhevan was very nice to chat with. Gave us alot of interesting and valuable insights into Malaysia history snd culture. We hit all the famous spots around KL in the comfort of his car. Ended our tour by dropping us off at our hotel even though it was out of the way. 5 stars all the way!

    Excellent experience !
Khanan was great, really gave us a local experience. Highly recommend doing this tour to give you an idea of the area so you know where you want to spend more time on your trip. Our guide was friendly, flexible, patient, and kind! We saw many great places! Definitely read about the Malaysian King’s Palace, the Thean Hou Temple, and the Colonial walk before heading on the tour so you can really take in the scene and sites when you get the opportunity to walk around on your own! Our guide had to stay with the car because parking was limited, but he did his best to give us an idea of what we were about to see during the drive to each area.

    Fun, Entertaining Evening
A very enjoyable evening. A knowledgeable and friendly guide who brought the vibrancy of the different stops to life. One of the pluses is that the stops are distinctive, not found on many other tours. Highly recommend.

Review of our tour February 16, 2020
This tour is a great option for a night. Sri Shakti temple was a cool temple to visit, different from Sri Mariamman and Batu Caves that you'll see in other tours. Uniquely, it is not brightly painted like other Hindu temples. Very interesting to see. Feeding/petting monkeys was a lot of fun; they are adorable and friendly. Costs maybe 1 or 2$ to buy food for them. The restaurant was a Thai restaurant on the waterfront. We had sweet and sour fish, some kind of pork and vegetables, and fried rice (I'm guessing with Jasmine). Very, very good. It also allowed a fantastic view of the sunset. We did not visit the lighthouse on Bukit Melawati. I'm not sure if it was from time constraints or some other factor. However, it hardly mattered as from the description of the tour, you can't go inside anyway. The highlight of the tour was (of course) seeing the fireflies and the glowing water at night. I've never seen so many fireflies, nor have I seen water that glows as it goes into motion. I still don't know (and havene't researched) why it glows like that, but it's sure cool to see. Finally, our tour guide Hery/Harry (not sure how to spell it, since we received emails from someone spelling it Hery) was a fantastic tour guide. Very funny and always joking. Excellent guide.

    improvement needed
The scene of mangrove at nightfall was really beautiful. However, a brief introduction to the Indian temple and recommendation to major spots in Melawati Hill were not given. It is easy to miss the feature of the tour.

The food at the seafood restaurant had a lot to desire, not because it was not good, but because it was ordered by the tour company and must have picked the cheapest dishes. Driver of vehicle should not be driving at all, very poor driver.

    Great day
Amazing to see the work of the sanctuary and see the orang-utans being looked after so well. The santuary relies on guests so you are contributing with your visit. Rajan our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, history and then later we stopped at the caves. Great day

Great Tour but didn't expect a motorised boat
Harry was our driver. His English and sense of humor was fantastic. We visited in the wet season, so watching a huge storm added to the fun. At ALL times, Harry drove tot the conditions and we felt super safe. Our 1st stop was Sri Shakti Temple. You have to take your shoes off and no photos allowed. A huge mother cow was just wondering around the shelter shed, while another cow was tied to the temple. Next was Bukit Melawati. You can buy a bag of food for 10MR to feed the monkeys. The Silverleaf monkeys are quite friendly. It's the Macaque ones that you need to watch out for. Next was our Seafood Dinner at Kuana Hwa Seafood Restaurant. Right by the river. The food is extremely fresh. We didn't have to order as the menu was already selected for us. Fish, crab, vegetables, prawns and fried rice. Sensational. Drinks at your expense. Last was the Fireflies. The entrance was right next door to where we had dinner. I was a bit surprised to notice that we were on a motorised boat with about 20 other people. (Probably didn't read all the fine print info before booking). Made the most of it anyway. When it got darker, they looked like Xmas tree lights flashing on and off. It felt like we only had about 10 minutes all up, but it was probably enough time. Thanks to Harry and the team for getting us back to our hotel safely after a great wet seasons storm. Travel Yamu and Asni TOurs seem to be the same company.

Our guide and driver Faizal was excellent, very polite and friendly, picking us up early (9am) to go to Batu Caves, avoiding the rush. We visited the hotel springs and the 7 level waterfalls, really enjoyable, prepare to paddle and swim. We visited a unique hand made silk scarf shop, seeing the crafts people at work and trying the hand colouring technique. The designs are unique and available to buy at v reasonable prices. Lunch was provided at a local Malaysian restaurant, let Faizal know what you like/don't like and he will order accordingly, great food. Onto the Royal Sekangor pewter works, fascinating history and chance to see inside factory where everything is handmade. Faizal kindly dropped us off at KL Station for our onward journey. **** rating for Faizal and VFM of trip, activities we would otherwise not have seen. Be prepared for lots of steps, 260 at Batu Caves, very steep, especially coming down and steep climb at waterfalls.

We were collected on time by Rajan who is a good driver and guide. The Hot Springs were a great disappointment to us, the surrounding area is in need of upgrading. The waterfalls and the Batu caves were better but again they were in need of an upgrade, saying that an interesting day was had. The Batu Caves were very colourful and interesting, the climb was 300 steps of colour and not for the faint hearted. Inside the cave was also interesting as was the local lunch at the local Coffee Shop.

Helpful guide takes you on a private tour to a 3/4s day adventure.

Hot springs are low key and too hot to swim in, only good for soaking feet.

The falls are gorgeous and quite private. Those who can hike a bit will be rewarded with extra falls.

The Batu caves are simply stunning. Plenty of monkeys and multiple temples to enjoy. Some of the other temples do have additional fees.

The Batik shop is just some store. Cute, and they have a little demonstration and explanation.

The Pewter museum is also a fun little diversion.

Absolutely wonderful day. Well paced and good variety of places. Our guide INDRAN arrived right on time and was excellent throughout and let us go at our own pace and take our time. He varied the itinerary by starting with the springs, waterfall and then caves, followed by a scrumptious Indian lunch before heading to the batik, watch and pewter factories. This flowed very well and helped us avoid the hottest time of the day. Would thoroughly recommend this to any visitor to KL. Just remember to take water, although you can buy at the waterfall as well as the caves, and watch out for the monkeys (even at the waterfall we saw one steal someone’s unattended bag.

This is a great tour to orientated yourself to what's just outside KL. Our guide was Maran and he was knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips to really enjoy each of the sites. I really enjoyed the hot springs, no tourists, except us, and had a chance to see locals using the pools to soak in, some with really hot water!!
If you want to have a swim at the waterfall, wear your bathers as no where to change when you have climbed up there.
The lunch at Batu cave was delicious and plentiful.
Highly recommend this tour and guide.

Had a great half day tour to the Batu Caves, waterfalls, hot springs and also visited the Royal Sekangor Pewter factory and the batik making area. So interesting. The Batu Caves were definitely the highlight. I surprised myself by easily making the steps although it was extremely hot. The whole tour was great from start to finish. I was particularly happy with my guide Rajan who was very informative on Malaysian history and current affairs. As I was traveling alone he helped by taking many photos and sending them to be after the tour. He also gave me ideas on other places to visit in Kuala Lumpur. Such a nice man and I would recommend Rajan as a guide.

Great trip- albeit expect to drop in on some local attractions (pewter factory!) which weren’t expected. Caves are good- women need to have knees covered. Caves and waterfalls amazing- thermal spas different experience and kids didn’t enjoy but only there minutes so wasn’t an issue. Food was questionable but expected than. our guide was nice but started to lecture kids about what they needed to do in future life (aged 13!) which wasn’t great. Asked questioned but didn’t listen and just spoke at us which became annoying! Didn’t spoil the day though.

We went on a private tour, the guide though friendly was lacking in English though he did try.
The caves; are very high up, 282 steps I think, so in the heat not suitable except for the fittest.
Waterfalls: again quite a climb, my husband managed it but I could not, lots of steps and uneven ground.
Hot-springs; Three concrete pools with incredibly hot water. I put a foot in the coolest one, ( 48 degrees) for a very short time, that was enough.
Lunch; I'm not quite sure what was on offer, we suggested Chinese and was taken to a restaurant which was closed, so at our request we decided to go back to our hotel.

Andrew our driver was lovely. The caves were great. Waterfalls let down by overload of people including some 15 disrespectful teens that were clapping and carrying on when we being white Australians got into the water. Hence we stayed for 5 mins. Very disappointing. Not to take away from our driver but put a bad taste in our mouth.

Mr Raja arrived on time and was really friendly and informative. He gave us lots of information about the local area and made the trip fun and interesting.
The Batu caves are amazing and well worth the 270 step climb !
The hot springs were extremely hot ! And we loved swimming in the waterfall. Thankyou Mr Raja for a great day. Would highly recommend.
