About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Yuliya S0 contributionsIt was a nice trip with many activitiesThe trip was nice. We saw many places like: Batu Caves, silver monkeys, elephants and fireflies. The food was nice, they can offer dishes for vegetarians, fish and meat lovers. Deer land was closed but we have spent more time in elephant sanctuary and it was amazing. Reminder for ladies: please take a long pants or long skirt for Batu Caves. Otherwise you will have to spend money and buy some scarf there. There was no a tour guide. Only a driver. We spent extra money to hire a tour guide for elephant sanctuary. But in other places we were trying to understand everything by ourselves. No one told to us to take mosquito repellent for a fireflies tour. It wasn’t written in the recommendations. So we were forced to ask for it other people because at night there were many mosquitos. I think the company should write about it. In general, I would recommend this trip because you can see many places in 1 day.Written September 3, 2024
- 77HB0 contributionsA fabulous experience!Had a fabulous day with a lovely couple from the UK. Chandran was an excellent driver and guide for the day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had enough time in each place without feeling rushed. It was lovely to be able to feed the elephants and hear about their rehabilitation and we enjoyed seeing the different monkeys throughout the day. The Batu Caves were busy but an amazing experience and we managed to see lots of fireflies despite it almost being a full moon. A brilliant (though long) day - thankyou!Written August 21, 2024
- X347QNjacobb0 contributionsWe saw some great sightsOur driver was prompt to our hotel in the morning and greeted us with a smile and a hand shake. We started by telling us about our day and where we would be going to. We had a full minibus to ourselves so had plenty of room for comfort. First we saw some elephants at the sanctuary and was able to feed them and learn all about the differences between African and aisian. After we went to the deer land park for a quick stop to see many different animals and feed some deer. We then had lunch at a great local cafe where they made food to our needs and how we liked it. After we went to the Batu caves where our driver gave us plenty of time to explore by ourselves which was great. Finally we went for a lovely seafood dinner which our guide ordered for us before we watching some fireflies on a boat which was a brilliant sight. Thank you for a great tour.Written August 21, 2024
- izarbel20210 contributionsTOURWe had an amazing time on this tour and our guide Chandran went the extra mile to ensure we were safe and happy throughout the experience. He did a good job of explaining the conservation efforts for the elephant sanctuary and the challenges of infiltrating elephants back into the wild. The deer sanctuary was interesting but we didn’t need much time here and this was more of an add on to the elephant sanctuary as it was close by. We did a surprise stop in a textile shop which was awesome, demonstrating and explaining how to make local textiles which we really enjoyed learning about. The batu caves were beautiful and we were given plenty of time for exploring as well as the time to get up and down the steep steps. We saw the silver monkeys as well the light house in Kuala Selangor which was a further added bonus and worth the stop. Our final stop was the boat ride to see the firefly’s which despite it being a full moon, was still amazing to see! You need to prepared that rain will modify this part of the trip as the fireflies are not visible in the rain. Both the restaurants picked by our guide were really tasty and price was included with the tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone, but be prepared for a long and active day with lot’s of driving!Written August 19, 2024
- Road199691695040 contributionsGreat views and a fantastic driver and guideWe drove with Rama, he was an excellent driver and guide. The Trip to the teeplantages was very impressive. He picked up early in the morning, because of the traffic jam and stipped at every scienic place. Everything was realy perfect. Thank you.Written August 19, 2024

- Travel6655360 contributionsLong 12 hours Tour - A lot of Interactive Activities with NatureI can't say more than enough that the tour company was very professional and provided a high-quality experience. Mr. Segar took us to many places and extra places even when we removed some attractions we had already been to. National Elephant Conservation Centre Kuala Gandah was an extraordinary visit while feeding elephants up close. Meeting with monkeys and feeding them was also fun, and the Firefly at the end. Please go to book this tour, it is well worth the experience!!Written August 15, 2024
- V280YYceliap0 contributionsA perfect day!It has been a great excursion. Lunch and dinner were delicious. Our guide Sara, along with the driver, have taken us and guided us everywhere very well. Furthermore, he is learning Spanish and has prepared many things in our language, it is a pleasure to meet such kind people. At the end of the day we were like the monkey in the picture.Written August 10, 2024

- 833lukaszp0 contributionsGreat day in Taman NegaraWe spent a great family day in Taman Negara. We had a great nature guide Alain who showed us a part of jungle, explained the nature, took us for a boat trip and showed Aborygen village. Very knowledgeable person with a lot of empathy. Great guide! One day trip was great, it would be better to go for 2days. Trip professionally organized by Kuala Lumpur Tour. Really appreciated and highly recommended.Written July 30, 2024
- heimenb20230 contributionsGreat trip and out of this world views of the jungle. Great for families. This was an amazing trip. Picked up from hotel at 05:30 for a long drive to Taman Negara. Minivan was a bit bumpy, but OK, very nice driver. Taman Negara trip was very special, a local guide showed us around the jungle. After the jungle tour, we got on a boat and it took us to one of the local inhabitants villages. We learned how to make fire and shoot a blowpipe from one of the locals. Back on the boat for some out of this world views down the river. Back to the starting point for a nice lunch. Recommend this trip for families with school going children.Written July 25, 2024

- JolaPC0 contributionsSuper awesome tour! The tour was amazing and my guide Mr.Chandran beyond fantastic. He was so incredibly knowledgable, helpful and he simply wanted us to have the best experience possible. He prepared us to get the most out of time we had at each stop with various animals. Per our request he made arrangements for us to see the blue tears after the fireflies natural phenomenon and they both were breathtaking. He also made sure that all our dining requirements were met during the lunch and dinner. As a bonus he also took some really cool pics and videos for us. All together it was one of the best tours I’ve taken and I highly recommend it!Written July 8, 2024
- Migulina19790 contributionsAmazing for families with young kids!Amazing 12 h tour that was full of firsts for our kids! They fed elephants and monkeys, experienced coloring batik and marveled at the grandeur of the Batu Caves. They also saw fireflies for the first time ever! The driver, Mr Chandran, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We definitely recommend this tour. Even if it sounds like a long day, you will not know when it's gone.Written July 2, 2024

Batu caves:
It's another important tourist spot on KL Malaysia.
It's better If u are planning this trip after 6 pm. Have to take some steep steps so plz not to plan from 10am to 5pm.
And it's really beautiful to visit with night lights. The temple will get close by 8.45 itself.
Better to start by 6/6.30 so that we will not become tired climbing up.
Steps are so steep difficult to climb with kids.
We can see more tourists visiting there. Temple is so clean and we can feel the peace inside the temple. Can spot some more caves inside.
Lots of shops available nearby Temple parking. Thaipoosam is so famous Festival celebrated in this temple and it's official holiday for Malaysians.
Pewter Factory:
I am so happy after visiting Pewter factory. One Mr.Ravi guided us inside and he is very informative and so nice with us. I am also sharing here his photo.Inside pewter factory they showcases full range of products starting from toys, table wear, Chinese zodiac figures, wall hangings and more. You are taken on a tour of their working stations and even u can join with them and try their work too. You can make your own pewter bowl. Plz make sure to add this place in your planed trip.

Sara picked us up at our hotel, which was a bonus as opposed to getting ourselves to the collection point. He was a great guide! We had done a different tour the day before, and Sara provided much more info and context. His English is excellent, which added to our enjoyment. We have colleagues arriving soon, and will suggest they contact him. Batu Caves is touristy, yet worth seeing. The pewter tour and batik workshop were both good.
