We had a truly memorable experience with Sachiko. She went above and beyond to make our tour informative and enjoyable. Her passion for the Japanese history was evident, and she answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. We learned so much and had a wonderful time.

Wow great tour of a fantastic city. Our tour guide Naoka selected several sites for us visit from our list and she was spot on perfect selection for us. We used the excellent underground system to get from site to site again a great way to travel across the city. Throughout the tour she gave us information on the areas. Naoko was friendly helpful and excellent in communicating everything to us. So highly recommend the tour and Naoko

EMI our tour guide was delightful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She also assisted us with an issue regarding our luggage being transferred from one city to another.

I would like to warn others of this company’s shady business practices. They are not a tour company or tour operator. They are the middle-man who merely attempt to arrange for guides to provide the tours they advertise on Viator and TripAdvisor. I booked this tour with them on TripAdvisor almost two weeks before the tour date. I received an email from TripAdvisor saying that the tour was confirmed, and my credit card was charged the full amount of the tour - several hundred dollars. Then, 36 hours before the date of the tour, the company notified me (through an email from TripAdvisor that the tour operator had left me a message) that they could not find a guide and were unlikely to be able to find a guide for the tour. This, of course, left me high and dry, without their advertised tour and too late to find another one.

Had a great day with Masa. He tailored our tour perfectly for us and constantly checked we were okay with everything and to see if we needed a break at any point.

She communicated prior to our tour to understand what we wanted to see. She stayed in communication with us on the day of tour, even after the tour had ended. Tour was informative. She took lovely pictures of during the tour. She took her time explaining things around us. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you Michie for a wonderful morning.

Yuki-san was very helpful not just to view interesting places in Tokyo, but to learn to navigate the city. A very enjoyable day. She also was quite knowledgeable about other cities in and outside of Japan.

Our tour of Hiroshima with Sei was amazing. Sei was so knowledgeable and very thorough. He even arranged a private documentary viewing at the museum. He was very patient with us as we had a toddler in our group. We grabbed snacks and enjoyed them at the beautiful gardens. We were able to see so much more with Sei guiding our group of 7. I highly recommended Sei for your day in Hiroshima.

Our Fukushima Hope Tour with Mikiko "Miki" Shiga was truly exceptional. As a Licensed Guide Interpreter, Miki's knowledge, compassion, and attention to detail made this powerful experience even more meaningful. The tour took us through significant sites including the Ruins of Namie Machiritsu Ukedo Elementary School, where Miki thoughtfully translated a children's story displayed on illustrated plaques throughout the school grounds—each page revealing part of the disaster narrative that we would have completely missed without her. Miki went above and beyond by recommending a wonderful hotel before our tour, helping with taxi communications, and guiding us to authentic local cuisine at Michinoeki Namie (the katsu and local fish were delicious!). Even on a particularly cold day, she ensured our comfort while still providing a comprehensive experience. What made this tour truly special was hearing Miki's personal connection to the events—her own experiences during the earthquake, evacuation stories from locals, and how communities have persevered through devastating circumstances. Her passion for sharing Japan's history and culture shines through in everything she does. If you're considering this tour, I cannot recommend Miki highly enough. Beyond just seeing historical sites, you'll gain profound insights into human resilience and the ongoing revitalization efforts in Fukushima.
