Terry is an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, cooperative and considerate. He is also a great driver, and mapped out an itinerary that helped us make the most of our time in Kyoto. He understood our requirements and restrictions, and adjusted the plan as we went along.
Our conversations with him were deep and broad. He was able to educate us on Japanese culture, history and language. He knows a lot, and he was able to convey it to us in a manner that we could easily understand.
I would highly recommend Terry’s services to other travelers. I wish him and his family the best of health, success and prosperity. Thank you, @Terry OGIYAMA!!!

Toshi was a great guide and driver for our day trip in Kyoto. We only had a couple days in Kyoto, and appreciated that we could see a lot of the area in one day. The ride was clean and comfortable, and we were able to manage the trip based off of what interested us. Toshi even booked us a lunch at a restaurant that is hard to get into. We highly recommend using this service when in Kyoto.

This company was so easy and efficient to use. Their response time was instantly and the price is very reasonable. Having your own private driver is way better than doing a group tour because you can customize it to your own needs and leave whenever you’re done. Terry, our driver, was so kind and polite. He drove us around Nara and Kyoto for about 10 hrs and whenever we switched up our plans mid day, he would give us his recommendations and had no complaints. Save yourself some time and book with this company! It’s seriously the best choice for a private tour!

We were in Kyoto for only 2 days and had limited time and wanted to see it all. With 2 young children; this can be even harder to do. Incredibly happy that we booked a private van and 2 full days! We got to move on our schedule, see all the things we wanted, have a private van at our beck and call and be able to leave all our stuff behind in the van as we hopped in and out - sight after sight. But, best of all was Mr. M - he didn’t speak any English, but with google translate, he made every effort to make us feel great about the trip! He was awesome and made us feel so comfortable in a new city! Truly worth every penny... so glad we weren’t jammed in some group bus tour.

We booked a private car tour of Kyoto with an English speaking driver born in Kyoto. It was brilliant Toshi was an excellent tour guide he listened to where we wanted to go and added to the itinerary as he thought fit. We saw more in a day than if we’d have been on an organised coach tour. Pointing out interesting sights on our way round which we then visited on our own the next day.
We even fitted in a traditional Japanese lunch stop 👍🏻 and shopping.
Our day finished with Fushimi Inari Shrine and a visit to the Gion District.
Thank you Toshi for making our trip to Kyoto very memorable.

We booked a day trip for a group of seven with Easy Travel. Everything went smoothly: the booking process was quick and efficient. We had an email a few days after booking advising us that our driver would set up a Whatsapp group chat a couple of days before the trip and this is exactly what happened. All arrangements were made with the group chat which was brilliant. The driver Toshi was really lovely, so kind and courteous. He took us around the itinerary we had agreed and waited around for us to look around. It was the perfect tour and the perfect guide.
I would highly recommend this product if you're a group of 5 to 7 and you have only one day to see Kyoto. The subway in Kyoto doesn't covey the whole city and this is by far the quickest way to covey a lot of ground in one day.
