My two girls and husband and I had a wonderful time with Santoshi and Kimmy. They are wonderful people, so professional and very friendly. We chatted like old friends and took photos . Santoshi was very helpful in directing us and took several candid shots that captured the spontaneity of the moment . I couldn’t recommend Santoshi highly enough. His work is incredible and the photos were truly stunning, especially with the backdrop of beautiful autumn colours. Please do not hesitate to book him on your next trip to Kyoto. ❤️

This was the second time inviting Satoshi to be my personal photographer in Japan. It was also my first time wearing an authentic kimono. The photos taken by Satoshi were absolutely beautiful. Satoshi definitely knows the spots to take lovely photos, he is particularly skilful in working with natural light and surroundings. What I loved most is that Satoshi’s photos always have a balance ~ the subject and the environment is blended harmoniously. It was a really beautiful experience. I rented 1 hour and he guided us to many spots that I loved it. So at the end I rented 30 minutes more. After seeing the photos I totally recommend him.

Satoshi was very friendly and easy to talk to (in English). He guided us through the bamboo forest and took amazing photos! After the photo session, he gave us some recommendations for coffee, takoyaki places and more. He was also very quick to edit and send the photos the very next day.

Satoshi-san was a very patient and kind photographer. Even though the weather was heavily overcast with rain the day before and the morning of the photoshoot he was able to make the photos turn out amazing. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and about Osaka and really appreciated his recommendations. We originally were planning to do the photoshoot on the weekend but Satoshi-san recommended to do the weekday which was 100% the right move because Kyoto is packed on the weekend. Definitely go for a weekday. If you are visiting Kyoto and you are looking for some memories for you and your family you cannot go wrong. Highly recommended!

Satoshi is a true artist. He has the talent and skill that you are looking for in a photographer. Not only that, he made two camera shy people feel very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend his services and book again if given the opportunity.

We couldn't be happier after our experience with Satoshi. Neither my wife or I consider ourselves particularly photogenic, but Satoshi did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and getting some AMAZING photos that we will cherish forever. You wouldn't think that the area was mobbed with tourists just by looking at our photos -- it really looks like we had all of Kyoto to ourselves! Our one hour family photo session with Satoshi was amazing. He was very personable and his English was excellent, even suggesting things for us to do in Kyoto or where to eat. As a photographer he was great - patient, humorous and quick at guiding us at what to do and where to go. He chose great places and our family were all very happy with the end product! A truly memorable time and I think very worthwhile to allocate a session that will allow you to have great memories of a holiday.

If me and my partner were any more unphotogenic we'd be vampires, but Satoshi made every single photo look amazing. He took us to some great locations and even if it was during one of the busiest times in Kyoto, the photos look as if we're the only ones there.
