Worth a visit for all coffee addicts!
Dec 2019
This is a great museum to visit in Japan, particularly if you have tried or drink the UCC brand. This place is easily accessible by monorail (make sure you choose the right loop). And this can be combined with the Ikea which is situated just across the road.

For 300 Yen, the UCC Coffee museum shares the history of the coffee, and also the entire life coffee bean cycle, including how it is grown, processed, brewed and eventually made into the variety of coffee types that we drink. For instance, do you know that there are only 2 main types of coffee beans sold commercially, the Arabica and the Robusta? Do check the timing for the free sampling (of 2 small cups of coffee) as it only happens about 5 times a day. You may wish to have your sample first before checking out the place or vice versa. The self-guided tour would likely take about 45 mins to an hour.

There was also the coffee roasting workshop which requires reservation (and this can be had in English). You can choose from four coffee bean types and then hand roast them to the desired darkness. Definitely worth a visit for coffee addicts!

Amazing coffee tasting
May 2018
I was so happy to visit the only coffee museum in Japan. It lived up and exceeded my expectations.
I would love to visit again.
