Exploring Hiroshima in a relaxed way.
It is a great excursion if you want to look around Hiroshima and the island in a relaxed atmosphere. I was nervous about riding a bike as I haven’t done it in a long time and Aimée-Linh was really lovely and supportive, she made me feel at ease. We loved the island and riding around Hiroshima, would definitely recommend this excursion. Aimee took lovely pictures of me and my daughter. Just a note that it’s not a historically heavy tour, so if you are looking for something more historic based it’s probably not the one for you.

Great half day private bike tour!
My husband, three kids (13/11/9) and I only had 24 hours in Hiroshima, and we spent the first 3 hours hosted by Awais at Cycle Hiroshima biking and touring around the key sights. The company was responsive and helpful via email, and Awais was a fantastic tour guide! Informative, friendly, flexible, and attuned to the attention span and even the hungry stomach rumbles of the whole family. We will need to return to spend more time in Hiroshima, and we would happily book a different tour from Cycle Hiroshima.

Must do tour around Hiroshima with Aimee
Aimee was an amazing guide. She gave us a lot of background information on the small details we as tourists tend to miss on. Took us on a nice tour around mijayima and the main temples and was super kind to take gorgeous pics of us with her camera. The bike ride around the city was super smooth as well which made it an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend doing this tour with her if you have a chance!

      Excellent Bike Tour through Hiroshima!
Sage is a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide that made our bike tour experience very special! She went above and beyond to show us all the main sites and hidden gems of the city and always took the time to answer all our questions in depth! Would 100% recommend this tour!

      Great day
Had a great tour with Ishan. There were 5 of us on the day and as no-one had, sensibly, made plans for after the tour we stayed out until after 6 p.m. as he was very keen to impart as much knowledge at as many sites as possible. Ishan’s knowledge was excellent and he clearly enjoyed his subject and had researched extensively. All in all a great day out with a fantastic guide and a really good group of fellow tourists.

Great experience with Aimée in Miyajima/Hiroshima
Aimée-Linh was a very attentive guide to all our needs. She was very knowledgeable and she took care of having a optimal tour of what we wanted to explore. She was very generous with her help in many fields for our trip to Hiroshima and Japan overall. She brought us to cool spots we may have missed and snapped some great shots of us along the way. We enjoyed our special day in Miyajima and Hiroshima!

      Perfect experience
What a great day Aimee was so patient . She communicated location for start and how we can safely navigate a foreign country on a bike. Her knowledge of the sites was exceptional and she made sure transitions from sites was seamless. Highly recommend and if you get Aimee you are in for a great day.

If you only have one full day in Hiroshima - dont miss this tour with Aimée-Linh
We had one thing booked for our time in Horoshima and we were happy it was this Bike Tour around the City and also to Miyajima Island, which we definitely would not have seen all by ourselves. The cycling part is not too much for beginners. It was a nice small group of 8 which was perfect for all the stops. Our guide was Aimée-Linh who made the day, with chatty funny wit, not to mention all the facts and knowledge along the way. We had a chance to be re-born again on the Island which we would not have known about on our own. Stopped for Ice Cream and a wonderful lunch break. Finished off the night after the tour with recomendations from Aimée-Linh to go to a Cultural rock lifting festival which made our time in Hiroshima so special and the best way to finish off the trip. Cannot recommend Aimée-Linh enough to be your guide, hope you are as lucky to get her as we were.

Great cycle around the city highly recommended!
Aimée-Linh was a wonderful tour guide as she took us through Hiroshima Peace memorial to start the day, giving us details and loads of historical and cultural context. We had a tasty lunch then set out to Miyajima island where we saw beautiful scenery and temples. Aimée-Linh taught us about the significance of the temple and I even got to do a rebirth trip through the temple that I would never have known about otherwise! Highly recommended. The cycling was such a fun way to get around the city too as we get to see so much more.

      Best Way to See Hiroshima
Great tour made more special by the guide Alex - a very entertaining and engaging gentleman from Netherlands living in Hiroshima for 20 years. Despite the terrible weather he was chatty, informative and engaging. The weather did not dampen his spirit. Our kids (11+8) enjoyed the day - especially Miyajima where the deer roamed the streets and the temples were breathtaking. Cannot recommend the tour and especially Alex highly enough.

      Outstanding tour around Hiroshima
We did a full day tour with Awais and it was excellent. Awais was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and Miyajima. He was very patient with one particular guest who ultimately had to cancel. We also loved the tour because it was a small group (4 visitors) so Awais could spend more time explaining things and less time herding the group. We had an excellent lunch near the train station that was included in tour price. Miyajima was the highlight of tour and we could have easily spent 2 days there. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling in Hiroshima.

      A great day in Hiroshima
Aimee was the ultimate tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. It was a small group, easy biking and enjoyed learning about Hiroshima and visiting the Daisho-in Temple on the beautiful island of Itsukushima. Aimee was fun, easy going and knowledgeable. Also, an amazing photographer! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima!

Awais was a wonderful host for this bike tour! While visiting Hiroshima and learning about the history can be heavy and a hard realization of what happened, Awais did a great job explaining things to us and educating us on the city and the atomic bombing. Awais was very friendly and kind, and he was patient with our group when we wanted to spend more time at places - we appreciated that and he made it a great experience! We had beautiful weather to bike throughout the city and the various sites, and ending at the garden was a wonderful experience as it was beautiful. Our group was 33 - 68 years old and the biking was not too strenuous for us, it was a relaxed experience. They offer e-bikes for a fee if you need the extra help on the tour. I highly recommend this as a nice way to see the historical sites and experience biking in Japan!

Exploring Hiroshima by bike was a great way to understand the city and visit many of the historical sites throughout the morning. Our guide Ali was so knowledgeable about the area and helpful making sure our group stayed together and hydrated in the summer heat! I would highly recommend starting your trip in Hiroshima with this tour before exploring the museum and other sites on your own.

Being on a bike you will feel like a tourist but with that being said it is an amazing way to see Hiroshima. Our guide gave us a great rundown of all the historical sites in Hiroshima. I would recommend this to someone who is only in Hiroshima for the day or on your first day in the city as you will cover a lot of ground

If you only had one day to see Hiroshima, this is a good way to see it no matter how good your biking skill. This tour takes you to some of the most important highlights of the city. It does not include entry into the Hiroshima Museum, but there is plenty of time after the tour to see it- and it’s just a short walk from the end of the tour. Overall, we had a lot of fun seeing the city on two wheels!

This was such a great bike tour. Aiden from NZ was our guide and was such an informative and kind leader. I was traveling with my two kids and it was an incredibly hot and humid day, so Aiden made sure to keep them hydrated and to accommodate our group by giving us breaks indoors/in AC. He then helped us all a cab and even walked us to the car. Aiden is a great storyteller and clearly has so much compassion and care when talking about Hiroshima’s history. I cannot thank him enough.

The tour is a nice way to get a first overview of everything in the Peace Memorial Park and of Hiroshima in general. We did however feel a bit rushed constantly, we could feel our guide being very conscious of the time during the whole tour. It might help to inform people beforehand that there won’t be time to read evey plaque, take a lot of time at every stop,.. The English of the guide also wasn’t that easy to understand, we really had to focus to understand him. Overall though a bike tour is a perfect way to get a first look at Hiroshima. The bikes were good quality and the pace was very easygoing. We’d give a 3,5/5 if we could, just ‘good’ experience.

Extremely respectful and informational tour Baden, our guide, started the tour with a discussion of the bombing and then focused the tour itself on the amazing resiliency of the people as they chose to regulus their city with an emphasis on peace. He showed us little known shrines and monuments in addition for the Peace Park area, and included stories of the people who survived and their contributions. Highly recommend this tour. It gave us information and overall perspective of the city to then return to the museums to spend more time there.

We took the Bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima. We booked first class and had great seats, specious, visibility and power for laptops and iPhones. You need to take food and beverages with you. They have tray tables. Hiroshima: We bought the one day bus passes for the Orange/green/yellow bus routes and stayed on for the whole journey to get our bearings before getting off and doing our own walking tour. It's very easy to do. Sadly the Museum was closed for changes of exhibits. But there was enough to see and do with the main attractions. It's worth visiting the Castle as it has its own Museum and a top floor viewing balcony. the gardens have exhibits too. A day was enough for us.
