      Fabulous
I recently worked with Marina to plan a destination wedding for my sister, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! They handled every detail, from securing hotel blocks for our guests to coordinating flights and transportation. Their expertise and patience made what could have been a stressful process incredibly smooth. What impressed me most was their quick problem-solving skills—when a few guests had last-minute changes, Marina rearranged everything effortlessly. Her recommendations for accommodations and activities were also spot-on, making the entire event even more special. I highly recommend Marina for anyone needing a reliable and detail-oriented travel expert. I will definitely be using her services.

      Earn your soba noodles
Great time, had a lot of fun learning how to make soba. Class started as soon as I put on an apron. The teacher was very knowledgeable and gave great instruction. Making soba is a lot of work and makes me appreciated it more. The tempura was delicious

      Excellent Experience
My partner and I did the soba making experience and it was amazing! The instructors were so kind, generous and great teachers. They were encouraging and offered guidance and knowledge into the whole soba making process. They serve dinner after you make the soba and it was so delicious we wanted to go back for lunch the next day. This is an experience you should not miss out on if you are visiting Sapporo and love noodles!

      Great experience for a date!
It was really fun to get the history of soba and get hands on instructions of how to make soba! Not only that but they also fry tempura for the soba that you make during the class. Will definitely try to make it when I’m home !

      Perfect Couple Activity!
The soba making experience class was amazing! We’ve been lucky to have traveled to Japan many times in the past and we’re always looking for fun and new experiences to do. The one here at Mondo’s did not disappoint! The instructor, Taku, explained everything really well and answered a lot of our questions regarding the history of soba and different ways to make it. The tempura and sake that came with our soba afterwards were the perfect touch. Highly recommend to give this experience a try if you’re looking for something fun to do here in Sapporo!

Taka was really helpful in guiding us through the soba making process. It was super fun and easy to follow! We were able to ask him more in depth questions about the process and history. We do speak a bit of Japanese though but he was very knowledgeable

We wanted to do something different and able to immerse into the Japanese culture, and this was perfect for us. This shop is a small soba shop that opens its doors after lunch crowd for the soba making experience. We got our hands doughy and able to use the soba knife to make the noodles. Makes me appreciate even more the work that goes into the home made soba noodles. At the end, they will prepare the noodles for us to eat. The noodles were plated beautifully with hot or cold broth options. We kindly asked to take about 1/2 home with us since our little one is a little picky and I couldn’t eat noodles for two :). We were dragging to get here because of jet lag, but the trek was definitely worth it! Taku-san (or sensei :)) was great, and we had fun!!!

Overall, a very enjoyable experience learning to make soba noodles from professionals in a small soba noodle shop. The hosts were very welcoming and pleasant. The hosts English was a bit 'rough', though they made an effort and we were able to understand the information. We learned many 'tricks' to soba noodle making (how to roll the dough into a rectangle, cutting evenly). The result was fantastic; the best soba we have ever eaten in Japan. Unfortunately, some information is not provided (flour a mixture or all buckwheat, cooking time, sauce/broth recipe) which will prevent us from making soba at home in the US. Note the location is a short distance outside the city center, though very clear directions are provided for getting there via public transportation.

The host (Taku) let me know in advanced that the time slot was too close to the previous other’s and asked if 5:00pm was fine.

When we got here we were greeted by Taku and we got started right away. Although the English parts were difficult to understand at times, there was a complete translation of his script and things were comprehended by the traveller hand gestures and nods.

Afterward we got to cut the soba and then eat the soba we made. There was a menu for add ons afterwards but otherwise everything was included with the meal.

Was a fun experience overall. As a seasoned traveller I liked it!

My family and I really enjoyed how to make soba here! We were taught by two chefs who we learned a lot from while having fun at the same time. At the end, they made us some delicious tempura and we got to try the soba that we made. Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this.

What a unique experience! I loved learning about soba and trying my hand at making them from scratch. The guides were super friendly. The best part was eating the soba I made in two different ways (dipping them in a hot sauce vs cold sauce)!
