We opted for a private 2 day tour of Hang Zhou and engaged Jack as our guide, a bilingual speaker with fluency in English. He was professional, knowledgeable of historical facts of the places we visited and has a great sense of humour. We were able to sample various local cuisine recommended by him and for us, it was a culinary adventure. Hefang street was such a quaint little place with the display of hand skills like the silver smith, art work, production of local snacks and so on. We especially love the Impression West Lake show and it’s not to be missed. Our visit to Wuzhen water town was a throwback to times past with the wooden houses and canals snaking thru’ the village. Kudos to Jack who added to our experience of our memorable visit to this beautiful city.
