A really good tour, making the day easy to go around and see the Terracotta warriors.

          Great tour
An absolute must do when in Xi’an - the entire area lit up is such a sight, the buildings, pagoda, light and water fountain show, all great. There are performances happening whilst walking around too. Plenty of places to stop too.

          Worth the visit
It was surreal to see the scale of the site and all the work that went on creating the warriors and also the archaeological work still ongoing to uncover them A very illuminating experience and our guide Chelsea was friendly and very knowledgeable

          Terracotta Army Tour
We booked our tour very late and were surprised to find we were the only two on the tour, Essentially now a private tour. We were picked up at our hotel around 8:15am. Our guide Coco was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The tour included the inevitable factory visit but as there was only two of us it was quick and painless. The tour of the Terracotta Army was wonderful and Coco’s knowledge really shone through making the tour very educational. Lunch was included in the tour and it was reasonable. Our day was shortened by the fact there was only two of us and we were back in the city by 3:30pm. I would recommend the tour and hope you get lucky like we did.

          Fountain is a must see.
The foundation was neat to see. Cathy was great, she took us through the square, lots of activities going on. A lot of local food you could try.

          Fabulous Day
This was a fabulous day trip in Xian. It is well organized and planned and something not to missed while in Xian. The Terracotta Warriors have been well preserved and are well presented with great, close access available to leave a lasting experience.

The warriors of Xian, a wonder
To see the warriors of Xian should be a must when visiting China. It is difficult to describe them: they simply are the eight wonder of the wander.

          Disappointing!
Pretty disappointing! First, it appears that we paid too much, since another couple paid around 50€ less when they booked it directly at our hotel. During the first 2 hours of the tour we were not sure if we were on the right one, because the pick-up at the hotel was very chaotic and no names or room numbers were asked and the guide just pointed at us. When asking for reassurance, the guide did not understand what we meant and kept smiling. That's in addition to never being contacted by the tour operator in the first place to confirm the exact pick-up time. Our first stop was the Banpoo Museum and if you have ever been to an European archeological excavation site there is no need for you to go there. The presentation of our guide seemed poorly prepared and she kept looking at the signs for help. And it didn't help that the signs were in poor English as well. The next stop was the Terracotta Warriors Museum where we were shown how the warriors are made. This was somewhat interesting and the guide from the museum (Anna) spoke excellent English. We then had some time to stroll through the shop next door and later we had an excellent, but not traditional Chinese meal. Afterwards, we went to the Terracotta Warriors which were really impressive, although very crowdy and sometimes you got pushed through. Before going back to the hotel, we stopped at a Mausoleum which was more of a 20 minute walk through a garden and not really necessary. In general, the Terracotta Warriors were impressive, the lunch good but the other sites not that interesting. Unfortunately, the English of our guide was not good and therefore we did not learn any information on the monuments and could not ask our questions. An example that describes her English skills is the following question: "who the terrakotta warriors were founded?" when she actually meant "how were the warriors found?". Hence, her elaborations were sometimes impossible to understand and the receiver did not really work at times.

A must for a visit to China
This is a well organised and extremely popular world class attraction. A well planned out walk through the buildings will help do some research before, spend a couple of days in the village and spa

          Amazing site!
It is never late to review this site though I am now back home for almost half a year from my last years visit. The site was impressive with some 8000 soldiers and horses together. The bronze chariots are a masterpiece located in a separate building inside the large museum complex. Do not forget it check it out.

Great day with a great guide
I learned a lot at both the Banpo village and Terracotta Warriors sites. Amazing insights into Chinese (and world) history. Nana was a great guide - very passionate and knowledgeable

Spine tinglingly good! Experience of a life time.
An unexpected treat. My No 1 wish when in China - a perfect experience (other than the energetic and pushy crowds). I went through it twice and did my best to shut out the crowds in my mind. Unforgettable moving experience. Don't bother with a guide. Just read up before you go.
