My family and I went to Xian on our own and David was our ground tour guide for 2 days. He was very accommodating, flexible and professional! He helped us arrange the private tour according to our needs since we were there with my 79 year old dad. Everything was at a slower pace. He helped arrange all the tickets in advance as well and could accommodate last minute request which wasn't in the original plan i.e transport arrangement to Mount Huashan and airport transfer. I joined a tour with 3 other people who made the day fun and pleasant. Our tour guide, Nancy, was knowledgeable and made sure to answer our questions. She is calm and collected but at times disengaged with the group. We went to a terracotta shop before any visits which was unplanned and unnecessary as it took time from the rest of the tour. 8 hours is a long day but with travel and lunch time, is really about 5. FYI if you look on viator for this tour you’ll find it with a diff price.

Guide did a good job and very helpful. Wear comfy shoes for walking, recommend bring a selfie stick if you are below 5’5, safe travel.

Our guide nancie was very nice & informative. On the way to the terracotta army she briefed us on the history and patiently answered our questions.

Peter was very knowledgeable and very thorough with showing us everything and explaining everything. Although it was very busy, we managed to get through the lines fast and in front of the crowds to see this amazing place.

Definitely worth seeing but crowds for a quiet day were immense, get the earliest time possible. Pick up was late but good communication from the tour operators meant no drama. Guide was good and managed the crowds well.

Firstly I want to say that I was glad I went on a tour to see the Terracotta Warriors. The guide was invaluable in getting us to the front of the viewing platforms into the pits. Without her, I doubt I would have even tried to battle the crushing crowds and mayhem that surrounded all the sights. Unfortunately, there was a lot not to like. Our guide was 15-20minutes late, the driver made us wait 10-15 minutes in the heat of the day to pick us up from the City Wall and we had an unexplained detour to drop something off in the city! If that was the reason we only had 40 minutes at the City Walls and one hour at the Terracotta Warriors, it was not good enough. We certainly did not get an 8-hour tour as described in the advertising. We set off well after 8:30am and were back at our hotel before 2:30pm. By my calculations that is not 8 hours. It certainly only took 70 minutes to return but far, far longer to get there!

Well designed full day tour. Pickup was a bit late as the other 2 people on the tour were picked up at different hotels that were far from each other. Transportation was well organized. Tickets were all taken care of. Tour guide itself was fine, but not great. For me it was worth it to have someone take care of the logistics. Recommend

The guide was on time knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to skip all lines despite pandemic prevention measures and other complications. Meeting early like 8 am is re on needed to beat the crowds.
