Wendy is an excellent tour guide. She speaks good English and knows her stuff. I did my one-day tour at my own pace. Although, not part of the trip, she accommodated my request to pass by a Bazi Reader 🙏🏼 I did the City Wall, Han food stalls, Bazi reading (not part of the tour), Terracota Warriors, quick stop for Biang-Biang noodles, and the Silk Road Theater! Xie xie Wendy for helping me book my Shaanxi History Museum ticket and arranging my transport to airport the next day. 🙏🏼 Thanks also to Jiang, who drove safely and I did not feel stressed out. His car had the essentials for a comfortable travel- he provided bottled water, umbrella, wet wipes, tissue, and paper fan. What I really like most was the car was odorless! 👍👍👍 Almost smells like brand new! Tip: wear comfortable shoes and be ready for a brisk walk if you’ve got only 1 day for a tour. Wendy was a great guide who gave a lot of information, not only at the scenic spots but also during the car rides. For some reason we never had to wait anywhere, she was able to get our tickets and get us inside. We also had a great lunch on her recommendation. She agreed to leave earlier because of the heat and found all the best spots to watch the terracotta warriors.

Amazing trip! Wendy was best tour guide I ever had in 50 years and nearly 100 countries! The Terracotta Warriors fulfilled a lifelong dream. The Origin of Silk Road theater show was spectacular. Wendy was fantastic. She had so much knowledge about everything on the way to the warriors she answered lots of questions and shared so much history with us not just about the warriors but about Xian. On top of this she customized everything for us and helped organize our next tour (food tour) as she knew the guide and could rearrange things for us so it was more convenient. She took us to a great local restaurant for lunch and helped order some local dishes we had a great day also took in the wild goose pagoda which was so interesting because of the information she shared with us. The whole trip was so much better than if we had tried to do on our own just because of all the knowledge Wendy shared with us. It was well worth it and Wendy made the difference.

Wendy was super friendly and a supportive tour guide on our trip to Xi'an. We can highly recommend her and would book here again for our next trip to town. In the morning we went to see the Terracotta Warriors where she told us about the history and the manufacturing process of the figures. In the afternoon we went to two local theater plays that explain more details about the background story of the Terracotta Warriors and the Qing Emporer.

It was a great experience with Wendy! She took great care of us during this trip. Some highlights of this trip: 1) private car ride for all the attractions 2) flexible with our schedule, was able to accommodate and took us to Tang Paradise and the night market instead 3) signed us up to a day hiking trip with another travel group (Hua Mountain). I highly recommend booking with Wendy. We had an excellent experience seeing the warriors and cycling the Xi'an wall. When we changed our plans to cycle the whole wall, Wendy was accommodating. She answered all the kids and our questions with knowledge and insight. She will work hard to give you a good experience.

My wife and I decided to work with Wendy for a private tour of the Terracotta Warriors and museum, a must see stop for any visit to Xi’an. We were incredibly impressed by Wendy’s attention to detail in getting us the access required to visit the site. Due to ever changing Covid-related travel restrictions, traveling in China at present can be difficult. Luckily, Wendy ensured we had no problems making it there. It was amazing!! Wendy’s knowledge of the Warriors, and Chinese history and culture in general, was an added bonus. It really helped put the site into perspective and gave it a greater meaning. In addition, Wendy went well out of her way to help us in getting tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum, a show, and pointed out great restaurants and things to do in the city, making our stay the best it possibly could be. We fully recommend Wendy if you plan on visiting Xi’an - we certainly will when we go back for out next trip!

Wendy is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. She communicated with us before the trip to be sure we were prepared and then took her time explaining the history of each attraction. We stopped and had a delicious lunch. Overall, Wendy is a wonderful guide and we highly recommend her when visiting Xi'an!

Wendy is a great tour guide! We only did one day with her but it was really good. She's really knowledgeable, friendly and organized. She is so helpful - right off the bat, she suggested a good itinerary, even went above and beyond helping us to book tickets and transportation for a show, and arranging for the driver to help us pick up our tickets, even though it wasn't part of the tour. We went to the Terracotta Warriors together, and she really knows her history. We learned a lot walking around with her. She's so personable and has such a lot of good recommendations, including bringing us to a delicious noodle house for lunch...a bowl of noodle (yes, just one noodle!) as tall as you! My kids loved that! If you're going around Xian, I would definitely look up Wendy to help with your planning and touring.

My family visited Xian for three days at the beginning of July 2021. We wanted to maximize our time and make it more interesting for our kids so we reached out to Wendy based on her reviews. While maybe a little pricier than others, she really added a lot to our trip and I would recommend her to others. Some highlights: * She was able to share a lot of history about the terra-cotta warriors to make it much more interesting for our twelve year old twins. * She was able to use her connections to get us tickets to the Shaanxi museum and a show on short notice, even though both were sold out online for over a week. * She spent hours talking to us about our plans and giving us ideas before we even committed to using her as our guide. Other companies wouldn’t invest that much time without committing to use them. While we don’t have any plans to go back to Xian in the near future, I’d recommend her to any of my friends that asked.

Wendy was a super friendly, organized, and knowledgeable guide who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone! With her help, I was able to explore Huashan, the Terra Cotta Warriors, the Song of Everlasting Sorrow, the Xi'an Museum, and a lot of awesome local restaurants. Her advice was always spot-on and she was always available for consultation over WeChat if I had any random questions (and, of course, her in-person tour of the Terra Cotta Warriors was excellent).
