We booked a private tour to the palace and pagoda and our tour guide Julia was great! Her knowledge was excellent (Engish/Mandarin) and we have had a great time! We highly recommend her for guided tours.

Our tour guide Owen brought us to the Muslim Quarter in Xi’an. Of particular interest was the mosque which looks very much like a prayer garden. Owen pointed out many points of interest. He brought us to the prayer hall. We could not enter but doorways are open so that you can peer in. It is one of the oldest mosques in existence. Thanks to Owen we discovered this. Also we visited the Terra-cotta soldiers. This was a great tour. Since this is a popular site, our guide, Owen took us there when others would be leaving for lunch. A great strategy! Owen explained what was happening in each of the 4 pits. Without his excellent explanation it would have been a bunch of figures in a pit. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Owen! The city wall is worth the climb. Beautiful view of the city and an opportunity to get an understanding of life in the past. Our guide, Owen, did a superb job of explaining the wall structure as well as the purpose and the different gates, etc. I highly recommend going to the city wall.

Excellent tour with our guide Bodo. Managed to fit in the imperial palace too!😀😀we managed to see more of the amazing army as the crowds were very few.

Traveled all over China with Owen with 3 teenage boys. He is from Xian and made this so special! He knew all the places and things to do. Who knew Xiian would be highlight! Owen was the perfect guide that made all of us comfortable and took care of any and all issues that came up. Highly knowledge about history and also how to get things done. What a great experience! Who would have ever thought that you would make such a discovery when digging a well! Dodo was great about explaining everything and answering questions. And then we even got to meet the farmer who made the discovery! The icing on top of the cake was the tea service at lunch. Thanks, Dodo, for a great day.

Great opportunity to get out and see parts of the city that a visitor would normally not see! Dodo was great about answering questions about Chinese food, culture, history, etc. I especially enjoyed the rice wine!

This was a great tour. I was lucky enough to have the lovely Dodo to myself. The warriors were amazing, and Dodo had lots of detailed knowledge to share. She then outdid herself by finding the farmer who discovered the warriors. Delicious lunch, great to go on the local bus, very smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend. Thank you, Dodo.

Dodo was our tour guide during our entire weekend in Xi'an, she is very reliable and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and of China as a whole. She is extremely professional and answered all the questions we had along the way. I highly recommend this trip for anyone coming to Xi'an and those who want to visit the Terra Cotta warriors :) 10/10
