The airport information desk employee Vincent assisted us as we were attempting to get a Didi to our hotel. Vincent reviewed with us different tour plans for our visit to Guilin & the surrounding area. He secured us transportation to our hotel. We exchanged phone information with a plan to follow up the next morning. The tour was 2 days of amazing site seeing. Vincent was a great driver, amazing English but best of all informative about the sites, life in China, history, culture & restaurants. Highly recommend the airport information concession and Vincent.

Excellent one day tour with Henry. TheLe River boat tour was amazing. Don’t miss that as well as a trip to the rice fields. Had a wonderful lunch with the locals and don’t miss the sticky rice and eggplant dishes!

We chose Travel China Guide for our 2 week multi city tour of China and could not have been more pleased. Of special note were the wonderful guides we were fortunate to have in each city....Tom, in Guilin was no exception. Always helpful, very knowledgeable, tireless, and fun to be with, we were so lucky to have him. Tom is a great asset to the company and we are very grateful to him for his expertise, his professionalism and his assistance!

We arranged a Li river cruise as part of our journey between Guilin and Yangshuo. Terry was very helpful in advance with making the booking and communication was great. The day itself went smoothly. Easy pickup from our hotel, our guide picked up our tickets and showed us to the boat. The boat itself was very nice. Comfy seats if you want to sit inside or a big open viewing deck on top to see the scenery (we spent most of the trip there). The scenery is stunning. Lunch is served half way and was very pleasant. Even though most of the people on the tour were Chinese our guide made time to give us interesting information in English as we went along. I highly recommend this trip.

I traveled to Guilin for 5 nights with 2 kids, 5 and 6 years old. The day river cruise was wonderful and lives up to the description. The boat had big comfortable assigned seats and a large top observation deck on top so there was always room for a photo op. The food on board is okay...but save room for the food in Yangshuo, tons of goodies and the beer fish is a must try. I wish I would have stayed a night in Yangshuo and had time to enjoy, explore, eat and take a bamboo raft excursion, the 3 hours allotted just scratches the surface. However, I did not so I cannot comment on the accommodations provided on the two day trip, but in my opinion Yangshuo would have been a great stay for 1 night. Last, I just wanted to complement the tour booking agent, the hotel staff at the Guilin International Exhibition Hotel, and the tour guide for coordinating the pick up from the hotel and keeping me well informed of any and all updates. I do not speak Chinese, so it is a bit scary booking online wondering if anyone will show up the day of. If that is your concern, as was mine, rest assured that everything was taken care of and handled promptly and professionally. Enjoy the river, it is breathtaking!!!
