I drank different kinds of Russian greatest vodkas. I loved them so much, accompanied by caviar it was much more than terrific.

Vodka history and tasting
Mar 2020
This was an opportunity to taste four typical vodkas with four different sets of ingredients. The history was very informative from prohibition to drinking devices. We chose black caviar which was delicious!

Not Worth the Money
Oct 2019
The tour was quick and the woman talking about the history of vodka making spoke as if she was reading from a script. Every word was memorized so there wasn’t any kind of emotion behind the words. After the tour we were given vodka and ingredients to make pancakes with sour cream and caviar. All in all, the tour was very boring and it’s one we could have done on our own for less money.

A must do activity at St. Petersburg with friends. It’s an interesting tour how vodka evolved in Russia and its fun to experience to drink the 4 different shots of vodka with pancakes and caviar.

Bad and sad
Don’t visit this place.
The staff was uncommitted and bored.
It looked like the museum was located in someone’s basement.
Everything in the “museum” is in Russian and the English recording you can borrow was so bad.
Not worth your time or money.

Private Tour
Jul 2019 • Couples
We throughly enjoyed our private tour of the vodka museum after a beautiful lunch at the Vodkaroom Restaurant No 1.
Our guide spoke perfect English and told us some quirky and interesting stories about vodka
We were then left with vodka, snacks and descriptions of each. Probably didn’t need all that after lunch but had a magic time. Very friendly staff.
At the conclusion we purchased some souvenirs.

Through The Eyes of The Russian People
Jun 2019 • Friends
We booked a tour through our ship that was called "Through The Eyes of The Russian People". Highly recommended it since we had the amazing experience of seeing the Russian Vodka Museum and taste testing. No caviar. Excellent staff explaining the museum and taste testing of vodka. We had endless vodka shooter sampling with the best finger foods - lard slice with crackers, tasty green pickles in salt, and fresh fish on crackers. It was the happiest bus ride back to the ship that I have ever had. You Russians know your quality vodkas.

It is worth a visit
May 2019 • Couples
We were visiting the museum in May 2019 but it is not our greatest experience in Saint-Petersburg, but it is worth a visit anyway. The guide talked too fast with an accent which was very difficult to understand. We tasted three different vodkas.
