What to Expect

Begin your 2-hour small-group walking tour at Solovetsky Stone, a memorial to victims of political oppression in Lubyanka Square. Your guide will explain the history of the stone and point out Moscow’s former KGB headquarters.

Stroll to Revolution Square. Learn about the 1917 Revolution, along with the Stalin era, the Cold War, the Soviet Movement for Freedom, and other important moments in the history of the USSR.

As you walk through the city, notice landmarks like the Bolshoi Theater, the Museum of Revolution, and the Gulag Museum. Make your way down Tverskaya Street, Moscow’s main avenue. You’ll pass by the Soviet-era cafe Sluzhebny Vhod. View Eliseevsky Gastronum, a famous Moscow grocery store.

Your tour ends at Pushkinskaya Square.
