I thought Tudor was a very kind, engaged, and intelligent guide. The tour had a good balance of outdoor activities and history. One thing I especially appreciated was that I wasn’t pressured to buy items or eat in sub-par restaurants, as is common on many tours. I feel that Tudor prioritizes the comfort of his customers, and would highly recommend signing up for one of his tours.

The trip was amazing, you've got a little of everything. History with the salt mine, connecting with nature at the gorge and a little cultural of the village as well as the monastery we visited on the way back. Tudor is a fantastic guide, easily made the group comfortable and lots of knowledge to share. You can really feel his passion for nature and his city Cluj! I enjoyed the entire experience.

A fantastic tour with a small group with lots of highlights. There were 5 of us, all solo travellers. Tudor's tour started at the salt mine, and guided us through the amazing site with time to explore the attractions. We then took a hike through a beautiful canyon, be sure to wear appropriate footwear for a hike, it's rocky in places. Then lunch at a local restaurant, the goulash was lovely. We then visited a traditional Romanian village, and an amazing monastery, the interior was a sight to behold, it was only recently finished and every surface is covered in vibrant detail, quite amazing. Tudor made us all feel welcome and was keen to share his local knowledge. We bonded well as a group. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone with a day to spare in Cluj.

As a solo female traveler with no transportation who really wanted to see the Turda Salt mine and the Gorge, this was the perfect adventure. We started with a pickup in Cluj, went to the salt mine for a couple hours where Curly Guide told us all kinds of things with his extensive local knowledge and a love of culture and people that really shines through. We stopped briefly at an absolutely awe inspiring monastery, every inch of which was painted and illuminated in the most stunning fashion. After that it was hiking time, and Curly Guide adapted our tour to bring us up to a huge abandoned fortress. As a flatlander I felt so accomplished getting up that hill! Next up was lunch in the town of Rimetea, at a delightful little restaurant serving traditional foods. The mici and garlic sauce are delicious. The tour of the town itself was fascinating, learning about all the historical little details and wandering through some very cute little shops where he knows everyone and will point out the best local products. On the way back to Cluj we stopped to admire the stunning views of Turda Gorge and two of our party went zooming down the zip line! Curly brought us back to town and dropped us off right where we embarked. This was my first time hiring a tour guide of any kind, and I am absolutely thrilled with what an amazing day we had. Couldn’t have asked for more and I got only the best vibes from our guide. I recommend this tour to everyone!

The tour was very good and we really enjoyed it. Our guide was amazing! Very helpful, friendly and informative. Every station of our tour was worth visiting. The food was really tasty! It was an amazing day-trip and we totally recommend it!

Tudor is an excellent guide who makes you feel that he wants to share with you his vast knowledge about Romania, nature and the tour he is doing with you, is exciting for him as well. We were 3 “Golden” aged ladies and one young lady who was on the tour with her mom! He was attentive and caring. Tudor was fun, plenty of patience and very excited to show and share the country he so loves, which is a country worth seeing and experiencing! No matter the pace of the group, Tudor was accommodating, patient and we all had an amazing day full of adventure!
