    Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. You need to get there early as the place is packed with people. Very well organised though. Each group is given a number, there is a short briefing before hand with the “do’s and dont’s. You then wait down near the water for your boat number to be called out. The boat ride out takes about 10 minutes. You will see the whale sharks as a boat goes up and down feeding them. You get into the water with your mask and snorklel, hold on to the side of the boat and they are right there beside you. You can also see them very clearly if you choose to stay in the boat. What an experience !! I would strongly recommend this adventure to everyone from older people to little children it’s excellent :)

I’ve booked this activity and decided to call the agency to confirm if it was everything ok with the pick up. I was told this only included the canyooneering and I would have to pay more for the pick up and drop off. I asked how much more I would have to pay and they answered it was the doble of the price. I try to explain that the name included the reference “with pick up and drop off” but they continued denying the service and the false advertising. They even threatened me!!! TOTAL FRAUD AND SCAM!!! I ended up asking for a refund and doing another tour with cebu tours that I totally recomend!

Dalton from Whaleshark Encounter was extremely helpful, calling me to confirm everything the night before and explaining wha to expect. Swam with the whale sharks which was actually unreal, took me about 5 minutes to start believing I was so close to these huge sharks. Crystal clear views and water was warm to stay under for the 30 minute look. Canyoneering was also extremely fun, my guide let me go off the 40 foot jump twice because it was so awesome, guide also took photos and videos for the 4 or 5 jumps / swings etc. Thanks so much Dalton, was the highlight of my Phiilippines trip, loved it!!!
