      Fantastic experience !!
Fantastic experience with Cleo as our guide. Leaving early in the morning, Cleo explained to us the life of the fauna and flora in the desert with a lot of humor and professionalism. The course in the dunes was magnificent, following the ocean at the foot of the immense dunes is truly an experience not to be missed. The brunch in the dunes, washed down with South African rosé sparkling wine was amazing. Thank you Cleo for this exceptional morning. PS: @Cleo: on your advice I bought one of these fanstatic pair of Kudu leather shoes!

Great Views of Sandwich Bay and dune ride experience! Not to be missed!
Take this half day ride on 4x4 car experience. It is in the north part of the Namib National Park, near Walvis Bay. This part of the reserve is yellow sand (different from the red sand in the south) You start driving through Walvis Bay where the houses are across the sea. Large flamingo flocs are resting in the shallow water. Their take off for flight or their "dancing" while looking for the food in the low seabed, was exiting. You drive through the red banks of the salt pools which is unique. Then you experience the challenging derive on the seashore where practically dunes kiss the sea. Going down on 37 deg sand slops is also unique. An unforgettable experience.

      Great catamaran adventure
Well organized great morning tour! The visit on the boat by seagulls, seals and pelican made it extra special. Blessed to see a pod of 30 dolphin. The food platter and drinks were excellent. Great guide! Well worth it!

      Amazing Experience!
We booked the 4x4 Adventure down to Sandwich Harbour with Andre as our tour guide. It was a fantastic trip that was well worth taking! Lots of opportunities to take pictures or just to enjoy! Andre was a very obliging guide with a lot of knowledge about the local area. We would love to try out some of the other tours some other time as well! Thank you :)

      Christmas trip 2019
This will be a Christmas to remember thanks to the seals and pelicans that joined us on the boat. Nicola our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Actually, all the staff onboard were great. We saw dolphins and even the mola mola fish. Having sparkling wine and oysters on the boat was really special plus the light lunch and drinks served was more than enough for everyone. Definitely the highlight of our Christmas trip.

      Brilliant experience
A spacious boat skippered by a hugely knowledgeable South African. We were accompanied by very tame pelicans and seal who came on board to entertain us. Watched colonies of seal, flamingos at a distance and a moon fish. Unfortunately o dolphins appeared for us. We were offered free drinks throughout and then a buffet lunch with oysters and sparkling wine. Best way to spend a morning!

      Really fun!!
This cruise was awesome! Sea-lions and pelicans jumped on board and were fed fish. We had dolphins swimming under the bow of our boat and leaping in the air. The crew was great and informative. Plus, the food was superb.

      Lovely educational and entertaining
To be honest, this was an unexpected experience. I did not expect much, initially upon my booking and felt it was a bit expensive, but I wanted to give my wife a new experience. In the end it was a truly marvelous experience. Although the charter is at times fully booked, you do get the sense that you still get your moneys worth. Apart from costs, the experience was amazing, we learned a couple of fun facts regarding the Walvis bay coast and it's marine life, even though we are locals to the country. Whilst on board you are treated to drinks and snacks including fresh oysters. Booking and dealing with the office was delightful and professional too. I am wholeheartedly able to recommend this tour to any person. If they are fully booked there are other charter companies available too. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/AttractionProductDetail-g298358-d13969128-Dolphin_and_Seal_Cruise-Walvis_Bay_Erongo_Region.html?m=19905 or https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/AttractionProductDetail-g298358-d15341884-Mola_Mola_Marine_Dolphin_Cruise_from_the_Walvis_Bay_Waterfront_to_Pelican_Point-Walvis_Bay_Erongo_Region.html?m=19905

      Great excursion
If you are contemplating how to fill half a day while in Walvis Bay, spoil yourself to a trip out on the bay. Ask for Capt Leon, he was informative, entertaining and a great host. Perhaps a little too informative on the mating habit of the seals but there you go. He has a unique relationship with some of the wild seals who identify his boat and pay visit. In other words, the seals actually jump on the yacht from the stern and take a ride while Capt Leon feeds them the odd sardine or two. This gives you the opportunity to take a “seal-fy” sorry , not my joke. Thanks Captain.. As we sailed past the Oyster farms, black and white Light house, seal colony or oil rig Capt Leon shared all the relevant info. Take a jersey/jacket the Atlantic Benguela current can get nippy. Enjoy!

      An educreational must do!
Recommended by BuschTrommel Accomodation and Tours, a breathtaking taste of the elements (cold yet warm) ! Staff Leon and Wendi amazingly helpful, their knowledge and passion is infectious. We met Nicolaus a great bull seal who boarded the catamaran and was fed fish and a puppy that was half blind. If you have children and teens with a love for nature or want a taste of what it is like this is definitely a must do! The champagne breakfast is just frothing on the trip... oysters and light snacks with coconut sweetmeats galore!

      Well worth it
As soon as you are about to board the catamaran, pelicans and cape fur seals board the boat. Gulls and Cormorants are other birds always accompanying the boat on the cruise. The seal island is very much worth seeing. The boat serves snacks and lunch, but we sadly could not have oysters as the whole tray with them fell down due to the boat rocking! Sea sometimes tend to get rough, but that just adds to the fun! My brand new smart phone took sea water on this cruise and conked off, but no complaints!

Wanting a little change of pace from all the desert-related activities we'd been doing in Namibia, we decided to do the half-day Marine Dolphin Seal Cruise--and with Sun Sail Catamarans due to the company's great reviews on here. Well, I agree with the reviews, and they're well-earned.

From start to finish, the whole experience was top-notch (minus one little thing, which I'll get to in a minute). Captain Leon was hilarious (though most on our cruise seemed to not get his humor?) and really knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit about heaviside dolphins, cape fur seals, oysters, mating, the list goes on. And he seemed interested to hear my recently-learned tidbit that dolphins aren't the only marine animals who have sex for fun; manatees do as well!

We also saw countless seals, including heaps of pups as it was pupping season, and two joined us at various times for some feeding and petting. A pelican joined us too, and we even got to feed him. Seemed like they had a good relationship with the captain, which was cool to see.

Also saw a dozen or so heaviside dolphins, and a humpback whale! Always a treat, even for this girl who grew up near the Pacific Ocean and saw a fair few humpbacks back in the day.

The fresh oysters (and other accoutrements) and sparkling wine were a great touch, and my only teeny tiny complaint--and it's not even about the company or the excursion (though I suppose they could maybe somehow ensure that this doesn't happen?)--is that a fair few people had two platefuls before some of us even had one. Those of us who weren't shovy and pushy, and who kindly waited our turns, sort of missed out due to the greediness and hogginess of some people. Sad to even be writing this, I mean, these are adults I'm talking about. Anyway, still tried some of that Atlantic Viagra, so water under the catamaran.

If you're looking for a fun wildlife experience out on the ocean while in Namibia, I highly recommend this excursion!
