There wasnt a zero to mark this company so i had to opt for 1.
All i can say is do not pay online for this kayaking trip!!
We were on a cruise and I had been in contact with Elmi at this company to book a tour for 5 people. We were all so excited and looking forward to the kayaking tour. We paid upfront for our trip as Elmi suggested but she/he was also aware that our situation regarding travelling was changing and we had been delayed at the previous port due to bad weather and there was a strong possibility we might not make it in time for the tour. I kept Elmi updated constantly on our situation and when our captain advised that we would not be stopping at Walvis Bay the next day I emailed Elmi to advise and requested a refund. It took quite a while for them to reply, only to be told there would be no refund! They are refusing to respond to any further emails where i have asked them to reconsider their decision not to refund us.
I think because i was in regular contact and updating them of our situation they should have had the good sense to refund once they knew the situation was changing.
We were all so disappointed that our visit to Walvis Bay was cancelled but this is just a kick in the teeth. Its terrible customer service and clearly they are just out to rip people off! Shame on this company for giving other tour operators a bad name. Ill be very wary when booking any future trips.
I did wonder why the ships tours weren't advertising this as a tour...seems they may have had a bad experience with them also.

Lorraine,
you submitted this devastating review without even communicating with us. While it is industry standard to have a 24h cancellation policy in place, we are always open to flexible solutions.
Instead, you chose to launch a personal attack on Elmi, who has never done anything bad in her life, and make uninformed accusations regarding tour operators.
Unfortunately you wrote this review without consulting us, and I urge you to be more careful in the future, as you are hurting small family run businesses like ours.

Activity for which we were somewhat shared about the experience.
The team is top, Ace, prowling the drill.
We were dispatched in 2 vehicles which was not very practical because we had taken the Sandwich Harbour combo and each Guide makes his route to and from the bay, but otherwise organization is square. We were 4 vehicles in total, about 30 people.
SJ is very friendly and stops us on the views of the local wildlife (pink flamingos, cormorants, etc.) until Pelican Point where the vehicles stop after about 1 hour of driving to launch the kayaks.
We put on life jackets and outfits, listen to some instructions and hop in the water. Well, it's a bit of a cold shower because after crisscrossing Namibia and its beautiful landscapes, we find ourselves in a hyper industrial bay, between tankers and container doors and against the backdrop of a shipyard, bof bof it's not what we imagined.
After about 20 minutes paddling to warm up a little towards the open sea, go back towards the sea lion colony. It's kind of funny, the kids come to us very easily, it's a lot of fun; it's really an activity to do as a family. 30 minutes later it's over, we dock, undress and have some good time with a coffee to warm up and a bagel quite decent. Finally, back in 4x4, 1h across the lagoon and there we think that still it is expensive the family outing for less than an hour kayaking in a setting like this.

Brilliant day with SJ, our Walvis Bay native tour guide. Accommodating to our 10 minutes delayed arrival. Lots of chat and info on the drive to seal colony on the big 4x4 with pelicans, flamingoes and jackals en route. The seals kayaking itself was out of this world, with seals jumping out of the water less than a foot away. Amazing. Highly recommend. Baby seals an absolute bonus and cuteness overload!

What a day ! The experience was complete & awesome. Firstly, you join the kayak spot in the 4x4, along the sea, the guide SJ explain you a lot of things about the environment. Then it’s time to meet the seals (sea lions), a few minutes on the kayak & the show is here. Hundreds of seals around you & on the beach. We’ve been lucky to get one that jump on the kayak, what a lovely moment. Can.’t thanks enough SJ for what he did, he’s been perfect since the beginning of this journey to the end of the experience ! Thanks again SJ ! It’s been awesome like you !

The kayaking tour was fabulous. I have ever seen so many playful seals together, interacting with us. The tourguide (SJ) informed us about the area, the flamingos, surfing, seals and more and managed to drive us through some pretty tricky terrain to pelican point. Would definitely reccommend!

Amazing tour, it’ll remain one of the best memories of our trip. The seals are playful, curious jumping all around you. The trip is a bit long but definitely worth it. If you’re lucky, you’d be able to see dolphins and even whales as well.

From arrival to finish everything was just super.
I lived in the area for a couple of years already and never did the kayaking. Friends recommended it and me and a friend and my 2 teenage cousins booked the tour.
Our guide Schalk met us at the waterfront and explained the tour to us. During the drive to Pelican he showed and explained various things to us.
When we kayaked, he was always around to give advice or take pictures. He showed us how to safely play with the Seals.
We all enjoyed the day out so much that we will definitely be back and I will go with Schalk again.

SJ our tour guide was honestly my favorite part of the experience. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional time. He was so funny and informative and professional. I rode with SJ on the kayak and I never felt safer. He was the best tour guide I had while staying in Namibia, and I highly recommend him to all. They kayaking experience was also amazing! Everyone who visits Namibia should absolutely make this an activity they try because it was so fun kayaking with the seals and so fun!! We took loads of pictures and laughed the entire time. Exceptional experience honestly! Pelican Point kayaking overall is the company of choice when choosing this activity.

Warm welcomed by the organiser at the Pelican Point shop. They have lovely souvenirs and a cute cat. We drove about an hour to the kayaking place at Pelican Point and made several informative stops to see thé flamingo's and salt factory. The kayaking was amazing, the seals (pups) are playful and curious. They will come close. It is a n animal friendly experience. A win win. The kayaking is 1h with a little lunch provided afterwards. The Guide knew a lot about the area and the seals and was very Nice!
It was a very pleasent experience!

Absolutely brilliant. My son said it was THE highlight of a full month in Namibia. Denzel, our guide, was very informative, kind, generous and perfect in everyway. One of our group is neurodiverse and anxious about the seals. Denzel offered to pair up with him and was extraordinarily understanding, reassuring, and ensured he had a wonderful experience. The seals are hilarious. Noisy, boisterous, very curious, and everywhere! They nibble your oars, follow you, even try to get in the kayak on occasion. All eight of us loved this morning out. I cannot recommend it highly enough. And, this particular company is heavily involved in seal conservation efforts just to make you love them even more.

We’re interested in doing the kayak tour on January 23.
We’ll be on a cruise ship in Walvis Bay. Is there easy access to your facility?
What time do you leave and when do you return?
