JP was a great tour guide and very helpful with the group. We unfortunately had great swells due to bad weather and could not do the entire lenght between dunes and sea. JP did try but due to conditions we had to return, was a great experience and would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic tour along edge of ocean and into high dunes. JP was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He provided a wonderful lunch which we ate in a sheltered oasis. The dune driving was thrilling, we were on the edge of our seats. Lots of stops for photos. Would thoroughly recommend

We highly recommend this tour. We had an amazing experience in the dunes. Our guide (Martial? Hope the spelling is correct!) was very knowledgable and friendly. Our kids (6, 4 and 1) had a blast, too!

Sandwich bay on its own was fab, especially with a guide like JP who knew his stuff. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife, interesting stops. But the 4x4 driving over dunes was exhilarating and so much fun. He was such a calm and fun guy to take us from novices to confident on dunes, definitely an experience to look back on. We ended up driving to Pelican Point (and Soussesvlei) too, which I don't think we'd have been brave enough to do if not for this tour.

JP is a "grandmaster chess player" when it comes to getting you safely to STUNNING places in the desert! I have been in extreme sports all my life and I know what JP was up against in these dunes as high as mountains. This guy is a world class guide. Professional, easy-going, never relaxing but you will never know it. If you ever skied down a couloir ... and you see this guy doing it SAFELY in a car ... then you would know what I am talking about. I saw other cars got stuck where JP just sailed by. THIS DOES NOT JUST HAPPEN! He is confident but always very calculating. Even in tense and intense moments, while you do not know how he is doing it, your seat is telling you that you are very stable and safe. Booking was easy, he was very attentive to our ideas. Without any pressure he explained what is doable and what not. When he gives you an assessment then he just tells you how the facts are going to line up. How you personally feel about it - that is your problem. When we got there i SAW why some things were not doable. We felt the entire time as if we are his only clients in the world. The views we saw were breathtaking! Tip to travelers: SLOOOOW DOOOWN. Reduce the number of points you are going to see then just soak in the moment at each one.

I’m just a hobby photographer but really wanted to come home with some dune shots- the afternoon light couldn’t have been better. JP was a fab guide, the locations were perfect and his advice very helpful. He also took shots with me in the dunes, and helped me take some shots that I couldn’t due to an injury the day before. Thoroughly recommend!

A bit disappointed. It was a rainy and windy day, and this could happen, but we had the feeling that our driver wanted to finish this tour as soon as possible. In fact the tour lasted 4 hours (pick up 7.30am - return at our b&b 11.30am) instead of 5 as promised. We passed a small lake full of flamingos (never seen before so crowded) without any stop, we spotted a iena with a bloody muzzle; not even the time to observe it well that we had already left. Paying 350€ (2 adults + 1 child) we would have expected a different treatment.

We loved our tour! We thoroughly enjoyed both the wonderful sites and JP's pleasant company and knowledgeable explanations. JP's service is really personal and attentive and he is an overall great guy to spend a few hours with. When a car of a different company got stuck, he didn't hesitate to drive over and help them. If you are considering a Sandwich Harbour tour, I would definitely recommend JP's boutique experience over one of the bigger companies. You are promised to have a good time!

Despite the weather was a bit bad, Hans and the other guides have been amazing. We saw a lot of animals and the dune driving was a unique experience. Excellent the food they offered to us with the vegetarian option for two of our friends. Absolutely recommended if you'll come to Namibia.

Just came back from Namibia Have done the self drive with JP from Red Dunes... It was a blast! JP is very knowledge and nice. He gave me advice and adapt the excursion to my level. Would recommend him with no doubt. One of the higlights of the hole trip in Namibia.

Our guide JP not only promised - he delivered in every regard. He is reliable, gallant, well educated and with all the local and cultural expertise which complements the numerous impressions of the beautiful landscape to an unforgettable experience. Being a hobby photographer as well he intuitively understood what we were looking for. We enjoyed a wonderful day within this unique landscape, perfectly organised and have taken along great impressions finally nailed on our camera memory cards. Clear recommendation.
