1430hrs Depart from the city hotel and the journey takes approximately 2 hours drive to the Southern part of Kota Kinabalu. Enjoy the scenic view as you pass through paddy fields, oil palm plantation and native houses among others. Upon arrival, light refreshment (local tea / coffee served with local cakes) is served in the typical village house. With the bizarre-looking proboscis monkeys gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the Orang Utan, the Klias Wetland with its large proboscis population is fast becoming the latest ecotourism destination in Sabah. These tree-dwelling animals normally hunt for food in the evenings so many boat cruises depart the Kota Klias jetty at around 1600hrs. Other riverside residents that may be spotted are macaques, crocodiles, monitor lizards, tree snakes and birds such as the eagle. Back on the jetty enjoy a natural light show when thousands of fireflies put on a glowing performance for your benefit. A sumptuous kampong styled dinner is served. After dinner, return to Kota Kinabalu.

        Penang shore excursion day trip
We were very disappointed. Wasn’t the tour we were expecting. Was self touring which we could done it way much cheaper than paying $99.00 US dollars. It was very expensive tour in Australian dollars cost us $315.00. It was a mistake decision to book this tour, didn’t enjoy it at all. Also weather was awful as well that made it worse. I don’t know why has a boat picture to confuse people? The communication was very bad too.

You have to do this trip in KL
We were in KL on holidays from ireland. We booked trip with company. On morning of trip was collected at appartment from a very kind man called kumpar..a very good tour guide from start to finished, very knowledgeable about all the areas in Cameron island. I would recommend this trip to anyone coming to KL..it will teach you the simplicity of living, and how different cultures survive on their own surroundings. Kumpar is a lovely person on that trip.

Our day trip to Cameron Highlands
Our driver, Kumar, was a very careful and capable driver. He took us to the waterfall, Cameron Valley Tea, Butterfly Farm, Bee Farm and Strawberry Farm. By far the best experiences were the waterfall and the Tea plantation. The others were not very good. Kumar made sufficient rest stops and recommended good stops for food.

Great eating spree experience in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Together with a few friends, I was in Kuala Lumpur for a specially arranged food tour of local food in the city. Our guide Bernard Tan took us to the selected "best" stalls and we were happy with his choice.

Convenient way to see the city sights.
Our tour guide was very informative and gave us rime to freely explore each location while he waited in the vehicle. He was on hand to take photos If needed. He was also quite flexible and suggested other places to visit based on our interests.

        Bad tour guide
The tour guide was unprofessional kept trying to flirt with my gf most of the trip, and seems like he kept doing the same with other women on the trip. Won't be using this tour service again.

Shore Excursion Group Hill and Temple, Penang
This small group tour was the perfect way to spend the day in Penang. The driver/guide picked us up across from the port entrance and we passed several sites as we traveled to Penang Hill. After some explanation of what we would see, we were given free time to ride the funicular to the too to explore on our own. Next we toured Kek Lok Su Temple on our own, again after being given some facts. We prefer to tour in this manner, with time to explore what interests us and away from a group and a chatty guide. We also stopped at a batik shop and still had time to wander Georgetown before the ship departed.

Enjoyable and also a culinary paradise.
Penang Island 🏝️ is my most visited place in Peninsular Malaysia 🇲🇾 and is like a second home away from home. Will continue to visit Penang as we have many relatives there.

2 hour drive from KK in a minibus. We knew the distance because we had been on a previous visit years ago. Mini snack of fried bananas and something else (unsure). Off down the river to see proboscis monkeys. We did see a few as well as a crocodile hiding next to riverbank.
Back to land for tea. Buffet laid out in centre of room. I’m vegetarian so my food was supposedly prearranged. They brought out some fried potatoes that I would have eaten had they not been stone cold. Filled up on tiny bananas and watermelon.
We had to scrape our plates into bowls and put plates and cutlery into another. Hubby spotted 1 of the staff removing bits of meat and fish and putting into a dish which he took away.
Short boat ride to see the fireflies which we hadn’t seen on our previous visit, and then the 2 hour return journey.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It sounds like you had a mixed adventure during your trip from KK. The river excursion to spot proboscis monkeys and the crocodile added an exciting wildlife element to your journey. The short boat ride to see fireflies also seems like a magical touch. However, it's unfortunate to hear about the challenges you faced with the vegetarian meal. Having prearranged meals is crucial, and it's disappointing that the fried potatoes were served cold. It's commendable that you made the most of the situation by filling up on other options like tiny bananas and watermelon. The revelation about staff handling meat and fish is concerning and definitely worth mentioning for others with dietary restrictions. Your detailed feedback on the food arrangements and the observation of staff handling food will be valuable for potential visitors, helping them make informed decisions. We hope your next trip will be smoother and more enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
