- anadlr20210 contributionsExceptional Private Night Tour of Kuala LumpurI recently took a private night tour of Kuala Lumpur with Rayhan Raj Naidu, and it was fantastic! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable and safe the entire time. Rayhan is incredibly knowledgeable about the city and showed me some amazing spots that I would have never found on my own. If you’re looking for a trustworthy guide who knows KL inside and out, I can’t recommend Rayhan enough.Written August 30, 2024

Albinhar provided fascinating insights into the history and culture of the caves, and his enthusiasm was contagious. The tour was well-organized, and the beauty of the caves was breathtaking. Highly recommend!Written August 28, 2024
- Candice F0 contributionsTour guide needed more experienceThe tour guide was very nice but I think he was a little inexperienced. He should have explained the hotsprings and its requirements. We should have brought our own buckets but he did not know that. He said he was just the driver. Also at the waterfall, it was quite a hike to get to the waterfall and there was in fact a less dangerous route that we could have taken.Written August 28, 2024

- lawrence928000 contributionsA Sanctuary of Beauty and Reflection in Kuala LumpurThe Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur is a place I have visited multiple times, and each visit deepens my appreciation for this magnificent institution. The architecture itself is a masterpiece, with intricate designs that invite you to pause and admire every detail. There’s a serene calmness within the museum that creates an atmosphere perfect for meditation and contemplation. The museum’s collection offers profound insights into the contributions of Islam to global culture and society. It beautifully showcases the rich history, artistry, and intellectual achievements of the Islamic world, providing a much deeper understanding than many other institutions I’ve visited. In fact, I find it even more compelling than the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, which is an impressive museum in its own right. After exploring the museum, don’t miss the treasure trove that awaits you downstairs. The museum’s shop is truly a “cave of wonders,” filled with exquisite pieces that reflect the beauty and craftsmanship of Islamic art. Whether you’re looking for unique souvenirs, beautifully crafted textiles, or intricate jewelry, the shop offers an array of items that are as inspiring as the museum itself. If only this museum could be itinerant, allowing more people around the world to experience its treasures and the profound peace it inspires. The Islamic Arts Museum is not just a place of learning but also a sanctuary where one can truly connect with the beauty and depth of Islamic civilization. For anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, this museum is an absolute must-see. It offers more than just a glimpse into the past; it provides a space for reflection on the profound impact of Islam on the world today, with a delightful shop that serves as the perfect conclusion to your visit.Written August 27, 2024

Do not book online, the tour company had not paid its account and our purchase was deemed invalid. After 20 mins of arguing and phone calls we were eventually allowed in.
Once inside we had a fabulous time. The Skycable was great and the views from the Skywalk are absolutely amazing.
We can highly recommend the place but please do not book with the travel company, simply wait until you get to the resort and buy your tickets over the counter there. They are cheaper and it is a lot easier and quicker.

Greedy Langkawi tourist trap.
1They don’t allow drinks even water and in the hot sun you ate forced to buy drinks at the top which are way costlier and expensive around 3 or 4 times any food is also expensive.
This greed put me off as if you as a cable car management doesn’t want people to take their own water at least provide an alternative or provide at cheaper cost .
This restriction is directly related to money making trap and greediness .
As foreign tourist our tickets are more expensive then locals with no added benefits.
Cable car employees needs customer training and overall the site needs some more exciting activities.
The views are really very good and we took glass ganglia you can skip this not worth extra money as the only thing down you see is jungle instead they should have been little clever in putting done wild animals statues etc to make glass gondola ride more exciting . But seems their management is only interested in making money . Hope some sanity will prevail and natural enjoyment is not superficially overtaken by commercial interests .

It is a scam, exactly as many ppl complained here. Purchased ticket for Skycab for 85 MYR which allows you to also visit other attractions you do not need (Skydome).
Skybridge you have to purchase separately (6 MYR).
They told me at 10am WE its under maintenance and wont strart until 12:30. I waited a bit while cca 300 ppl came so I demanded refund and succeeded. I am quite sure I would spend there 4-6 hours waiting.

We went on an overcast day and it was still busy.
Even though we had to queue for tickets and the Sky Cab it wasn't too long a wait.
And once you are on the Sky Cab the views are incredible.
Once you have completed your trip on the Sky Cab that you have 2 options to get to the Sky Bridge.
You can buy a ticket for 16 MR which includes a trip on the Sky Glide which takes you directly to the Sky Bridge. One thing that I would point outs that there is only 1 Sky Glide in operation that can take a maximum of 12 people so there was a very lengthy queue that barely moved as it transits there and back.
I chose to walk and from memory there are 342 steps, each way. Quite a few others who had paid for the Sky Glide chose to walk but it certainly isn't an option for those with mobility issues or who aren't fit.
The 360 degree view from the Sky Bridge is magnificent and well worth the effort of getting there.

Fabulous place with great experience & fantastic views. A real gamble as to what the experience will be like due to cloud coverage...for us it gave a real atmospheric insight of good & bad due to sporadic cloud coverage. Superbly beautiful. Cable car was amazing. Lots of queues, not always covered by shade, so take sun protection & plenty of water however you can purchase refreshments/ice cream at the second cable car stop, along with several options for souvenir photos too! Beware of the Monkeys grabbing your food! Slightly confusing second ticket & access/queuing system. LOTS of walking with lots of steps. Overall: a fabulous must visit! Plenty of Taxis available. Also, less promoted Theme Park you can wonder around free of charge.

The cable car itself is a fab ride, it’s really steep but you feel safe and enclosed so even my vertigo wasn’t troubled by it and you get glorious views from the top if it’s not obscured by cloud.
The system for boarding is a little bit busy, there are different grades of gondola you can pay for, normal, glass bottom, VIP etc and you have to stand in the right line but the staff were friendly and helpful when I was there and guided me as to where to stand.
Six people can fit in a gondola, I had a lady in the one I was in who was suddenly scared so we switched places so she couldn’t see down but it was not scary really.
I took the normal gondola on an express ticket and booked the skybridge ticket as well (separate ticket needed).
It was a fun experience and the views from the top were worth it, (weather can be different up there but I was lucky).
Definitely a worthwhile experience.

Pay the express ticket and skip the lines
Lines can be long and it’s very hot.
Cable car - great views.
When catching cable car to sky bridge and wanting to come back, stay in car even though doors open. A little confusing especially when the sign was turned around the wrong way.

Arrived just before 10am. No waiting to change my voucher for a ticket. Sunny at the start of the cable car ascent but misty clouds arrived just as I reached middle station. By the time I arrived at the Sky Bridge visibility was zero. Disappointed that I couldn’t see the view but it was kind of cool being up in the clouds.
The weather has almost everything that morning- sun, fog, rain, sun and rain. Pleased that I took an umbrella.
324 steps up to the Sky Bridge but there is a lift as well.
Easy to get to using Grab.
3D Gallery was certainly worth a visit.
Oriental Village was just lots of shops.
I enjoyed the experience despite the weather.

The ride itself was wonderful. No doubt. The process of admission needs improvement though
1. The place won't consider the extra cost of transportation some visitors had to pay if it was closed due to windy condition. Thus, call first before you go.
2. The place charged you all the same even when there was an attraction that were closed. "Sorry for any incovenience" won't justify it.
3. The ones attending the counters need to be more polite or "beradab" in Bahasa Melayu. Answer the questions from the visitors professionally. You are being paid to be polite in a service-oriented business. Remember, the visitors are the one who pay you. They are not beggars. Treat them accordingly.

We got the 360 degree car, and it was worth it. The car is just bars at the top, so the breeze through it was really nice.
Once at the top, the bridge walk was extra, but it was more views again. You can see a lot of area. They are still building more up there, and are looking forward to going and seeing it again.
