      Brilliant Eco mangrove cruise
Brilliant mangrove and snorkelling cruise. Our guide Masyi and boat captain were amazing at spotting birds, snakes and wildlife and giving us insights on the importance and ecology of the mangroves. Incredible snorkelling spot and exciting ride home over the waves. Thank you!

A Responsible and Enriching Wildlife Experience at UNESCO Geopark Mangrove Tour with JungleWalla
From the enchanting mangrove forests to the vibrant wildlife, our family's excursion with Jungle Walla was nothing short of magical. The highlight of our tour was undoubtedly the expertise and respect for nature displayed by our guide. In a world where human interference is often detrimental to wildlife, it was refreshing to see a company that does not indulge in feeding wild animals for entertainment. We observed other boats luring monkeys with food, leading to the animals recklessly jumping aboard. This not only disrupts their natural behavior but can also be dangerous for visitors. Thankfully, our guide's ethical approach showcased the beauty of wildlife in its truest form. We were fortunate to witness the incredible biodiversity of the Mangrove park - from otters playfully navigating the waterways to eagles soaring above, and from the serpentine grace of snakes to the gentle flutters of bats in their cave. The rare sight of a dolphin gracing the open sea on our return journey was the cherry on top of an already delightful day. Our guide's knowledge brought the ecosystem to life, engaging not only my wife and I but also captivating our 9-year-old twins with insightful stories and facts about the flora and fauna. This tour is a testament to how wildlife excursions should be conducted, with respect for the natural world taking precedence. The company's dedication to sustainability and education made our trip informative, entertaining, and conscientious. This was more than a tour; it was an educational adventure that we, as a family, highly recommend. It was a responsible exploration that struck a perfect balance between fun and learning, ensuring the experience will linger in our memories for years to come.

Best trip we have done so far in Langkawi. Iqbal was amazing. Very friendly. Time swimming on private beach was the best and the food we had at the end was simply the best. A must do.

A sustainable way to visit a UNESCO site
I am so glad we found Jungle Walla and did the mangrove tour with them. I almost gave up on finding a decent tour option. None of the ridiculous activities that other operators offer, no forced lunch, no dead time to make-up the advertised time. Just a great tour of the mangroves and the open sea with a nice crew. Our guide, Iqbal was knowledgeable, funny and kept the tour light and conversational. Thanks a lot, Iqbal! All in all, an awesome choice.

      Awesome experience and tour guide!
Hello Junglewalla, we would like to commend Iqbal (hope spelling is correct) for a wonderful bike tour and we are very happy with his great effort to spot interesting birds including hornbills , animals and plants including cotton and petai , as well as provide us with very interesting facts and stories ! He also ensure our safety when crossing roads , match our pace and allow us time to enjoy and appreciate the nature and scenery. We also like his very friendly personality. He also took effort to search info for us if he didnt know the answer ! Thank you for the considerate idea to have a car follow behind and to bring us back ( we were too tired to cycle back to office 😅) .

      Amazing Tour with Afie
Afie was an amazing guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and the nature. She was very patient with us and we loved the experience. The waterfall at the end was amazing to cool off in and the dessert treats were a delight. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with Afie.

A very enjoyable morning's bird watching. with Junglewalla. Our guide, Venosha, was friendly, enthusiastic and well informed and we learnt a lot about the birds we saw and some of the challenges facing wildlife in Langkawi.

      Great bird watching experience
We went out with our guide Afie to see the hornbills and we got a whole lot more. First in the rainforest and later in the mangrove. Lots of birds and explanations were great. Really enjoyed

wonderful bird watching experience in Langkawi.
Venosha was the best bird guide I’ve ever met. We were so lucky there were only two of us in the group that day. But she was still very dedicated and enthusiastic, trying to help us find more birds and explain as much as she could to us. We had a wonderful bird watching experience in Langkawi.

Thank you JungleWalla and especially Iqbal for taking our small group through the Kilim Geoforest Park and its Mangroves, explaining why it’s harmful for the nature and animals to feed them and making us feel welcome to enquire about everything. Absolutely recommend!

Nature comes first tour, excluding any feeding of wild birds and animals. Our tour guide IQBAL was truly insipiring - explaining and making participants discuss how nature actually lives its natural life in mangroves. 5 stars for this tour!

Aflie is a delightful guide and person. Being a graduate of u of Colorado , English was good. Young, enthusiastic with passion for birding. She saw things with her young eyes that we just missed. Great way to see the other parts of the island as well

An amazing tour of the Kilim Geofprest Park and we were lucky enough to see Eagles, Monkeys and Mangrove to name a few! Our guide and host was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great education on eco tours. Vinusha made us feel safe, comfortable and took us to loads of unique stops along the cruise and we would recommend this Junglewalla over many of the other operators

This is my 2nd time going on a Junglewalla tour, as I was bringing a friend along. Venosha was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, explaining the importance of the mangroves, the eco-system and the local wildlife.

Junglewalla does NOT speed through the mangroves, as this will kill the trees and cause flooding. We saw many unlicensed boats with drunk tourists or boats jammed with around 20 - 30 people (no life jackets either) speeding through. LADA should be ashamed for not looking after a UNESCO site properly.

The sea eagles and brahminy kites are a must-see, although it's sad to see how dependent these birds of prey have become due to unlicensed boats feeding them chicken skin. Once again, the fault lies on the authorities on not regulating the boats and 'tours'.

While Junglewalla is more expensive compared to the unlicensed boats/tours, you will learn a lot and you won't be destroying the environment for thrills.

We took a private boat and were taken around the Kilim Geoforest Park and Mangrove area.

Our young and friendly guide Shafwan was very knowledgeable and told us about the Geology, marine life and mangrove ecosystem in detail. He answered all our questions and was very fluent and easy to communicate with.

We were able to see the limestone outcrops, caves, vegetation up close and were given time to examine these closely. We also saw the flying mudskipper, fiddler crabs, brahmini kites and monitor lizard.

The boat captain Faris was very capable and navigated through the small rivers as well as open sea expertly.

There are many tour operators doing the same tour in Langkawi but I am glad to have chosen Junglewallo. They are also eco-conscious and stay away from gimmicks such as eagle feeding and monkey feeding.

This was both an educational and breathtakingly beautiful experience.

Booked through Klook and our guide was Safwan. It’s rainy season in Langkawi in September but happily it didn’t rain the morning of our tour .
Tour started at 10.30 from Tanjung Rhu ferry and it was enjoyable one and a half hour boat ride through the mangrove swamp. Learnt interesting facts about the mangroves, different species and how they evolved to adapt to the sea water . Saw Brahmin kite eagles, flipper crabs, monkeys and went inside a bat cave . Brief stop at a lelong and I like that this is an eco tour conscious of conservation , no shopping stops and feeding of wild life.

You can easily stay at the beach in Langkawi and never see the stunning beauty and biodiversity of its interior. Not only did we see many different parts of the island, but our guide and boat captain were knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We saw eagles, snakes, crabs, monkeys, and more while learning about the natural history of the island.

Vanosha was our guide and she was great - very knowledgeable and passionate about preserving the mangroves, wildlife, birds and encouraging us to take an active interest in the area too. Captain of the boat was also very good - looking out for wildlife and different mangrove trees and stopping frequently. A
very good way to spend a morning!

Really fantastic tour around the geopark. Venosha, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. It's also clear to see how passionate about the environment she is.

The tour makes a point of not feeding animals to attract them, like many other operators seemed to, as this is really harmful.

We had a fanatic time and would recommend to anybody who wants to learn about the nature around them and enjoy the beautiful scenery without being shepherded around on an overcrowded boat (which some of the other tours seemed to do!)

It is an amazing trip! The tour guide Venosha is very energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about mangrove wildlife. My family and I enjoyed very much the trip especially with her good explanations along the trip! But not for the fish farm where people keeping the wild fishes in the farm for entertainment. Wild fishes are meant to live in the wild.

Our half day tour of UNESCO Geo Park on a boat was an amazing experience thanks to the beautiful scenery, fabulous animals & character & knowledge of our guide, Francis. As we cruised through the mangroves Francis explained the history of the area. We stopped to see the mud crabs & monkeys, we were able to watch the Brahmins Kites & White Bellied Eagles dive down to catch fish. As Francis explained about the mangroves we were lucky enough to see a sleeping Mangrove Pit Viper & an amazing blue Kingfisher. The scenery is stunning. Francis had very good English & he was was able to answer all our questions. He gave us water & samosa & kept us entertained. This is a very natural tour with no gimmicks, they just want to show off their amazing country & educate us on the mangroves. A very memorable tour.

What an amazing afternoon tour of the Mangroves. Our guide Shafwan was wonderful with an in-depth knowledge of the wildlife and geopark combined with interesting stories about everything we saw, including the viper! We all had the most fantastic afternoon including a stop at a floating restaurant to see their archer fish and to feed the rays. The captain Faris was so much fun and made the day too. Out thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable afternoon!
